Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

@cricketmum84 it's not a lot of calories!

I'm having a full on day. Breakfast at 7.30. Omelette with leftover caper lemon and tomato salad from dinner last night (Delilsh). Then worked at home till 10.30. Quick dash across london. Train to Manchester, meeting, train home (half a small banana en route- the other half was squished).
I'm STILL on the train.

So 5000 steps, 10 flights , 400+ miles , 5 hours of travel, carrying a heavy bag. On 220 calories.

Looking forward to dinner tonight once I finally get home. And I'm still only in Milton Keynes.

Pooped.

How was everyone else's day ?

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 19/06/2019 18:50

cricketmum84 that doesn't sound like much to me! I hope you're feeling better now.

I've stuck to plan + 4 squares of dark chocolate, but I (internally) allow for one small treat a day.

Proper weigh day tomorrow, so we'll see if I'm self-sabotaging.

Millie2018 · 19/06/2019 21:14

Stuck to plan today with the exception of eating 2 Belgian chocolates. But I did go swimming, so figure that’ll balance it out.
Fingers crossed for another good day tomorrow. Zumba tomorrow night and then weigh in on Friday morning. I’m hopeful for another loss. Currently at 2.4kg for June.

Crazzzycat · 19/06/2019 22:13

I agree, cricketmum that doesn’t sound like a lot of calories to me either.

I’ve been keeping quiet for the last few days, as I fell off the diet wagon in the most spectacular way imaginable. I had a whole (sharing!) bag of crisps, a lot of ice cream and a whole lot of other treats yesterday 😳

I’m not sure what came over me, but have been as good as gold today so will allow myself that little blip.

Vebrithien · 20/06/2019 06:46

Good morning ladies.
I think I'm going to have to take this a little bit slower, given what I found out this morning...

Hello everbody.
I believe I have lost the 1/2lb gained on Monday. I am hoping more will shift if I can (apologies) >>go to the loo

Vebrithien · 20/06/2019 06:55

Which, to be fair, has been the major motivator for losing weight. After the MMC, I wanted to give any future pregnancies the best possible chance, including having a healthier Mum!
Once I'm sure it has 'stuck' I'll be in touch with the nutritional midwife I spoke to previously. I still have a lot of weight to lose, but hopefully can manage this slowly.
Guess it helps that I get awful nausea in the first trimester! I've upped my calories from today, if I can stomach them.
Baked oats with fresh apricot
Tomato and basil soup with sourdough bread
Quiche, using tortilla wraps rather than pastry.

Hope you all have a lovely day. I can't stop grinning!!

OhTheRoses · 20/06/2019 06:58

Congratulations verbrithien Grin.

lightlypoached · 20/06/2019 07:05

Hello to ❤️ Day 21 ❤️

How is everyone doing today? I'm having a mega busy week at work so sorry I've been a little absent. It should settle down after Monday so I'll be back with a bang!!

Today's plan is
B - water and a banana
L - mushroom cup soup with 1 slice tiger bread with low fat cream cheese
D - veggie sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes

Will probs add in some fruit for snacks.

Hope everyone has a lovely and successful day ❤️

61.1 for me today.

That's 2.3 off since 24th May.

Will do another 800 day today and see what happens.

Is anyone else finding that their joints are a bit 'hurty' or is it just my dodgy knees/hips playing up because it just won't stop raining ?

Howlongtillbedtime · 20/06/2019 07:32

Congratulations vebrithien what lovely news!!

I am a little worried about the next couple of days. My sister is coming to stay to celebrate her birthday so booze and snacks will have to be moderated. Also we are going out to a friends for dinner on Saturday so will have to be careful there too.

I am however determined to keep on top of things and I will be back to the gym Saturday to try and lessen the damage as I know I won't get a chance today or tomorrow.

Wish me luck Grin

Fluffiest · 20/06/2019 07:35

Congratulations Vebrithien! That's wonderful!

I maintained again which is OK. Slow and steady wins the race and I'm happy with the weight I've lost this week.

After all my earlier angst this week about work and my strategy to fix things. A job has been advertised within the company that is my dream job and perfect hours for family life too. I can't believe it! No guarantee I would get it but I am going to go for it. I am feeling very motivated today.

My food planning isn't great today so I will need to do lots of walking around and get some exercise in this evening.

Millie2018 · 20/06/2019 07:57

@Vebrithien wonderful news! Congratulations.
@cricketmum84 you’ve lost a day! Day 20 today ❤️
Plan for today
B. Weetabix and fruit
L. Chicken salad
D. Fish, potatoes and veggies
Zumba tonight and weigh in tomorrow morning. Really feeling positive for a loss.

cricketmum84 · 20/06/2019 08:24

@Millie2018 thanks chick! god my brain is so mashed at the moment!! Wishful thinking for Friday!!

Good morning all!

New scales have arrived yesterday, weighed myself this morning and was pleasantly surprised by a 500g loss! I'm far too impressed with them actually working, you step on and they give you a weight nearly instantly, my old ones took bloody ages to settle on bloody anything. In the bin with them!

3/6/2019: 123.3kg

4/6/2019: 123.1kg

10/6/2019: 123.4kg

13/6/2019: 122.6kg

17/6/2019: 121.8kg

20/6/2019: 121.3kg

Loss so far in June: 2kg

Weight at beginning of 2019: 142.9kg
Total loss so far: 21.6 kg (3.401 stones/47.62lbs)

I'm so close to 50lbs off I can taste it. I like that number, it's nice and round. I may even hit 3kg by the end of the month or at least pretty close! And after the start I had I'm quite pleased.

@Vebrithien Congratulations! That's lovely news!

LooseAtTheSeams · 20/06/2019 09:24

Congratulations verbithiaen!
Don't think I've lost any more just yet but pleased to have maintained new lowest weight for years! Still hoping to shift 2 more pounds by Monday if I can avoid too much temptation at the weekend. Today:
B: cereal and soy milk
L: leftover veg chilli (no rice)
D: not sure yet. Pasta or stir fry with lots of veg and small carb portion!

Lookingforpizza · 20/06/2019 09:30

Aw congratulations @Vebrithien Grin that’s fantastic!!!

I’m right Angry today as I am just permanently stuck on 78.6 - when will it go down! I am finding it is making me more sodding determined though.

Today’s food:
B: Alpen and yoghurt
L: Tomato and lentil soup
D: Salmon and home made egg fried rice
Snacks: Maltesers, banana and latte

Should bring me in at around 1400 cals. Which is okay as I’m doing a 6k run after work! Looking forward to running as haven’t had much time for it this week.

I meant to ask for anyone doing the fast 800 - if you exercise on days where you’ve done the 800 cals, do you eat calories gained from exercise? I’m thinking about starting fast 800 in July but struggle as is to exercise when I’ve not eaten much. Just wanted to get some views on it if possible.

Have a cracking day everyone - keep on keeping on!

BrillyPribble · 20/06/2019 09:43

Congratulations @Verbrithien what fantastic news!
I wish this weather would hurry up and turn summery, it's so much nicer eating salads in the sun rather than the cold and rain.
My plan for today - no breakfast, chicken + sweetcorn soup for lunch (made yesterday, delicious!) and mushroom Dhansak for tea. I don't really plan snacks, I have several graze boxes in my drawer at work and at home I eat lots and lots of tomatoes if I want a snack (I LOOOOVE cherry plum tomatoes).

Wellthatwastricky · 20/06/2019 09:56

Congratulations Verbrithien, I hope the nausea doesn't hit too hard (bad memories!), I was the fool who managed to get fat while still being sick 5 times a day for the first five months because I ate continually to contain the nausea (hence being here on this thread!).

Stayed on track all week but so far only lost 0.5lb. Should be pleased but frustrated I'm 3lb off my June target and not sure I can meet it. Going away in 10 weeks and had hoped I might fit in some of my smaller summer clothes but now facing up the fact I'm going to need to buy some in between stuff.

Plans for today:

L: crudités and hard boiled egg
D: chickpea and lentil curry with rice
S: low cal frozen yoghurt maybe some dark chocolate

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 20/06/2019 10:28

Congratulations Vebrithien! How lovely Smile

I've lost half a pound this week. It's the right direction, but more would have been nice.

So that's four and a half pounds this month.

Today:

B: Porridge with maple syrup
L: pasta puttanesca with cheese

I've done Pilates this morning, and am starting to find I can hold the poses more easily, which is a good NSV.

Have a good day everyone!

Skinnywish1 · 20/06/2019 10:31

Congratulations verbrithien. That is awesome news.
My ab are kicking headache has eased slightly but I'm breaking wind all the time. Home from work as can't drive so trying my best not to pick. Which is easier said than done.
Hope everyone has a fab day

Vebrithien · 20/06/2019 11:02
