Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

@Skinnywish1 poor you. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Flowers

I did 760 cals yesterday and fasted from 7pm last night to 3 pm this afternoon (my lunch was delivered late !

So had 60 cans of cashews and An Itsu noodle salad at 240 cals. 10k steps and 21 flights of stairs (so far). I think that's what they might call fasted cardio Smile

I now have a headache 🤕 but a banana to revive me before yoga at 8pm will help.

Tired but feeling chuffed to have achieved this so far.

OhTheRoses · 18/06/2019 20:19

skinny whenever I'm on AB's they help it all flow through so hopefully there will be a +ve impact on your diet.

Poor you Flowers

Sorry I've been AWOL all day, been a manic one with work so just catching up now!

Welcome @MilesJuppIsMyBitch :) you are more than welcome to join!!

@Jeds55 I'm keeping you in my thoughts and really really hope that everything goes ok ❤️

@Skinnywish1 let's hope they get to the bottom of it. That can't be nice, especially with 4 little ones to look after!

I've had a decent day, plenty of water, some pineapple for a mid morning snack, 2 jelly sweets, didn't have time for lunch so just had more water and then low carb and very low point tea. Room for a G&T but no biscuits. NO BISCUITS!!!!

Morning

Had a good day yesterday so feel back on track now. Thank you for all the fast 800 info. I have had another look at it and I really don't think I could cope with it. Not much wiggle room for anything. I am going to stick to mfp and getting to the gym at least every other day.

I have an day off today so lots of cleaning as my house is a tip !

Good luck to everyone for a good day and I hope all the sickly spuds are feeling better .

BrillyPribble · 19/06/2019 07:11

Morning all. I had an inadvertent fast day yesterday because I didn't have time to eat tea (went out in the evening) and it was too late to eat when I got home. So only ate 500 cals yesterday, which I presume has something to do with today's weigh in being.....13st 11lbs, a bewildering loss of 4 lbs in the last week!!
Total loss for June is 5lbs so far.

lightlypoached · 19/06/2019 07:21

Morning everyone

61.7 this morning.

Busy day ahead so tho k I will have an eggy breakfast today Smile

Vebrithien · 19/06/2019 07:25

Morning all.

Weigh in day..... 101.7 kg! That's 2.4 kg off this week. helped I think, by the couple of days where I could only face soup and yogurt.

cricketmum84 · 19/06/2019 07:26

Vebrithien · 19/06/2019 07:37

Sorry, posted too soon
So, 101.7 kg today, which is 2.4 kg off this week.
Total of 5 kg off in June
9.3 kg off since April

I also lost 6 cm off of my waist circumference since the start of June, and gone down a trouser size.

We can do this! I know that I'm sticking to my food plans so much more because of this thread. The support here is brilliant, and just what Mumsnet is all about.
Keep on going, today is the hump day of the week, it'll be downhill to the weekend after lunchtime today!

Fluffiest · 19/06/2019 08:32

Hello, managed to maintain this morning which I am pleased with as I had a lax day yesterday. I've been really unhappy with my work situation but couldn't see a way out. Yesterday it just got on top of me, and I spent yesterday evening talking and crying about it with DH. It was a long night but actually I feel a lot better now. I know now why I am unhappy and we're going to start tonight looking at ways to fix it. Plus DH was very supportive of whatever I wanted to do, which made me cry all the more!

So no exercise yesterday and a bit of worry grazing and I didn't really reduce my portion sizes. But today I feel brighter and a bit more in control, so let's do this!

Lunch will be soup, tea will be spag bol and I'm going running this evening. Hope you all have a good day!

mrsed1987 · 19/06/2019 08:51

Hi ladies, sorry i havent been updating you. 2 weeks in and ive lost 5.5lbs! 4lb last week and 1.5 this week which im pleased with as it is time of the month tomorrow!

Been doing slimming world and finding it very successful! Hoping for that 1.5lbs next week for my half a stone!

Lookingforpizza · 19/06/2019 09:11

Well done on those losses @Vebrithien and @mrsed1987 - that’s amazing!!!

@Fluffiest I’m so sorry you’re having such a hard time at work, it really does take it all out of you Sad glad DP is supporting and hope you can resolve things sooner than later Flowers

I’m hosting people for tea and tbh I find it so annoying because they’re all wanting to bring alcohol and desserts - which is fine! - but I said upfront just to bring whatever you want for yourself because I’ve got the stuff I want and don’t want to stop anyone else having things they want. Now I’m getting incredulous “oh you can’t just have dessert and a few drinks for one day?!” Or people suggesting unhelpful alternatives like sugary fruit juice. I’d understand if I was saying you all have to have what I’m having but I’m not! I do love this group of friends, but they’re not always very supportive. Anyway today’s food:

B: Alpen and yoghurt
L: Tomato and bean soup
D: Bolognese with a sweet potato
Snacks: Maltesers and hot chocolate

Brings me in at around 1200. I weighed myself this morning and have lost the kilo I gained over the weekend, so I’m back to 88.6 - fingers crossed it gets down to 87.9 in the next few days Grin

mrsed1987 · 19/06/2019 09:18

@Lookingforpizza - so annoying when people do that, my mum is the worst! Im only just getting in to slimming world and at the weekend it was oh just have a couple (chocolates) that large yorkshire pudding wont hurt you... etc lol x

LooseAtTheSeams · 19/06/2019 09:32

Back on track after slight wobble at weekend - trying to shift a bit more by the weekend.
Think I'll do a veg chilli tonight and tiny portion of rice.

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 19/06/2019 10:06

Thanks cricketmum84 Smile

Some really inspiring weight losses on here!

Lookingforpizza I feel your pain wrt unsupportive friends. It seems to be a blend of them wanting to have fun with you, & a shade of them feeling you're judging their choices. KOKO.

Been for a run this morning, so feeling smug (which I enjoy).

B: yoghurt, nuts, seeds & dried cranberries.
L: Roasted Mediterranean vegetables with balsamic roast salmon & couscous.

Still doing 8:16, so no dinner.

I was 12st7 at the beginning of the month, and was 12st3 last Thursday, so 4lbs so far. Main weigh day for me tomorrow, although I hop on most days.

Have a good day everyone!

BrillyPribble · 19/06/2019 11:33

I haven't mentioned to anyone that I'm doing this (apart from in passing telling my DH I was tracking calories on MFP). I've been for meals out and birthdays etc and still not mentioned anything!
And weirdly, not one person has noticed anything! I've lost 10lbs over 6 weeks and no one has noticed or said anything. I think it's a much easier way of doing it, it avoids all those conversations of 'oh surely you could have this' or 'one cake won't matter' etc etc. 😆

DirtyDennis · 19/06/2019 13:14

I went to an event at work yesterday and over-indulged. Not massively, I'm probably still within my calories but I felt guilty and bloated.

So today I'm trying for 1,000 calories.

B: Cornflakes (100 Cal)
L: Biscuits and crisps (300 Cal)
T: Vegetable curry (400 Cal)
Snacks: Biscuits (no more than 200 Cal)

I'm stopping my diet on Saturday 6th July and want to shed 4lbs before then. That means an average of about 1,200 calories per day between now and then. It's do-able.

DirtyDennis · 19/06/2019 13:20

I was meant to swim this morning but I had very little sleep last night so when the alarm went I was way too knackered to even consider it. I'm hoping I can get the dog out for about three miles later on but we'll see.

Lookingforpizza · 19/06/2019 16:31

Bit of a weird NSV but went for my walk at lunch time and my work skirt is getting quite loose, so much so that it had twisted all the way round back to front and I didn’t realise until i got back to the office. Did look quite comical as it’s a skirt which it’s quite obvious if it’s the wrong way round Grin

cricketmum84 · 19/06/2019 18:07

I have been so hungry today and my careful planning went out of the window! I've been so hungry! I had:
8.30am 4 small rice cakes (69 cals for the pack)
9.15am watermelon
10.45 satsuma
1pm 2 hard boiled eggs
3.30pm banana

I feel like I haven't stopped eating all day yet DH days that's not enough calories and probably is where my dizzy spells are coming from. Had to leave work 30 mins early as I felt like I was going to pass out!

Tea is the chickpea curry I took out for my lunch!
