Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

You've had an amazing day @peanutbutterismydownfall don't worry about the biscuits
I believe that you can have anything in moderation.
Find a biscuit brand with 50 cal or less and enjoy a little treat.
I'm an ice cream person and just found out that the mini Vienna were only 67 cal. So guilt free treat 😍😂

LeukaeLucky · 04/06/2019 18:56

@Lookingforpizza congrats

peanutbutterismydownfall · 04/06/2019 19:07

Mini Twisters are remarkably low in calories, something like 42. I like them as the outside is really creamy but they have all of the refreshingness of an ice lolly.

cricketmum84 · 04/06/2019 19:12

I love chocolate and strawberry mini milks. And they are only 1 point each on ww!

LeukaeLucky · 04/06/2019 19:29

I've never tried them @cricketmum84 they remind me too much of ice lollies and I'm not a big fan. Are they creamy like ice-cream? Is it chocolatey enough for a big chocolate fan?

cricketmum84 · 04/06/2019 19:46

@LeukaeLucky yes I find them creamy enough for an ice cream fix. And I find the chocolate ones chocolate enough for a chocolate fix too.

They are cheap enough to buy and throw away if you don't like them lol!

Haha good answer
I will have a go when I do my shopping next week and report back

cricketmum84 · 04/06/2019 19:52

Haha :) I've tried Iceland's and Lidl's own version and they have both been very nice too. And I'm not giving DH the side eye while he eats a big chocolatey magnum... not at all...

I was meant to be going for a meal out tonight but it was cancelled so made an asparagus risotto instead. Calorific and almost an entire days worth of carbs in one meal but I've not had much else today so I'm still under my calorie limit for today. Weigh in tomorrow morning- it's always easier to resist all snacks the night before weigh in!

Wellthatwastricky · 04/06/2019 20:58

I mentioned on the last thread that I love the Waitrose fat free chocolate frozen yoghurt, tastes very chocolatey and low cal.

I've been experimenting with various low-cal ice creams too, love the Halo Top peanut butter one (100 cals for a good sized ice cream stick) but they're too pricey not on offer. Aldi do a fairly decent chic chip low cal one though for much less £.

Managed to stay on track today, despite immense yearning for pizza and biscuits.

Crazzzycat · 04/06/2019 21:02

Woohoo! A weight-twin and a height-twin. Now, I’m doubly excited Smile

@lookingforpizza and @BrillyPribble I don’t actually have an end weight in mind. For the last 5 months, I’ve just been completely focussed on making it into the healthy weight range. At times, that’s felt like such an impossible challenge, that I’ve not really allowed my mind to wander beyond that.

But, I’m pleased to report that I’m now less than 1.5 kg away from that goal, so I guess I better start thinking about this Grin

LeukaeLucky · 04/06/2019 21:35

@Wellthatwastricky duly noted, thanks for the tip
@cricketmum84 perfect I shop at Iceland so will remember that.

Startoftheyear2019 · 04/06/2019 22:30

Well done all! I think I've actually lost a lb! I'm so thrilled. I love the encouragement on this thread.

carrottopper · 04/06/2019 22:59

Oh gosh I've been terrible the last couple of days. Started off the days really well but by tea time I'm snacking on biscuits and chocolates. The kids stress me out after school and I find a binge until their bedtime. Then reward myself with chocolate when they are in bed and we have all survived the day

Bringonspring · 04/06/2019 23:04

I’m in on this thread! 7lb is my target

OhTheRoses · 05/06/2019 06:11

Am tracking
Am on points
Am meeting fit points
Would just love to see a loss of a lb or three.
Seems to be about 1lb per week overall. Hit 12st13-1/2 on Saturday. Lowest since has been 13st-1/8.
Sad
It's quite disheartening.

Millie2018 · 05/06/2019 06:55

Last night I was desperate for a snack after swimming. Got home and had a banana and 2 rice cakes. Desperate to lose something this week as I put on overall in May.

cricketmum84 · 05/06/2019 07:13

Morning all and welcome to
❤️ Day 5 ❤️

I'm struggling as I need to buy new scales I think. I haven't been tracking as well as usual in the last few days due to stress but my scales are all of a sudden showing a 7lb gain which can't possibly be right!! Any ideas??

Huge welcome and hello to anyone who has joined in the last day or so! We can do this!!!

For those of us that are struggling with snacking on biscuits/chocolate/crisps - buy a fruit bowl!!! Fill it with your favourite fruits, if we can buy a £1 pack of biscuits then we can afford a 4 pack of extra special apples. Treat yourself to fruit you might not normally buy. Then put the fruit bowl somewhere in your kitchen where it's really noticeable. I put mine on the kitchen table. You also get the added bonus of the kids having fruit available all day and it becomes the first thing you see when you go into the kitchen for snacks!!!!!

Plan for today is:
B - melon
L - probably salad bar at Morrison's
D - roasted madras spices cauliflower and spicy lentils

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Morning! I’ve not been very good with dieting the past few days, but I have done some Exercise! My plan for today is NO SNACKING!

BrillyPribble · 05/06/2019 07:24

No change for me today 🙁
Although taking into account that it was half-term plus all the family birthdays we had last week, I think that's probably actually pretty good!
OhTheRoses are you doing WW? A lb each week is still a loss, you're still going in the right direction. Flowers
cricketmum could you try changing batteries in your scales first?
For snacking, I like Graze boxes. They are usually more protein-based so in theory more filling. popcorn is good too, as long as it's not toffee covered!

Pinkvici22 · 05/06/2019 07:27

Cricket surely your scales must be playing up?

I didn’t have a great day yesterday - lots of exercise but went slightly over my calories by having a piece of choc before bed Blush

Back to it today. Woke up with an awful headache but went for a 40 minute walk and think it’s helped.

Have a great day everyone...halfway through the week and Day 5 already!

edwardson · 05/06/2019 07:49

Can I come back into the fold please?? Some of you may remember me from such films as April's thread and the beginning of May, after which I fell spectacularly off the wagon and ended up gaining two lbs rather than losing any. Blush

Time to get it started again with your inspiration and support, I hope!

Starting today 9st 9
Goal by end June 9 st 4

LeukaeLucky · 05/06/2019 08:03

Good morning
59.8 today
A bit disappointed as I struggled to stick to 500 cal any suggestions of meals would be appreciated
Back on track today is a regular day (as opposed to fasting day)
I have a 30 min fitness class booked in
Hoping to be around 59.5 tomorrow
Have a successful day

Brandaris · 05/06/2019 08:05

Please can I join? Better late than never, right?

I had great success losing 1.5 stone from November through to April as I had the really good motivation of being in a crew for the Scillies gig rowing champs and I didn’t want to let them down. Now the pressure is off I’ve sunk back into eating everything within reach.

It does me no good to eat so much, when I am eating well I have so much more energy, I am happier, sleep better and everything feels easier.

I’m proper scared to weigh myself as I’m sure I’ve put on a lot since April. I would like to lose between 1.5 and 2 stone more to get to a healthier weight.

All the progress on this thread is very inspiring!

Nishky · 05/06/2019 08:07

Can I join a few days late, I go on holiday in 8 weeks and would love to lose a stone. I am 15. 3 today.

My view is that I have screwed up my mental health through yo yo dieting and want to pursue healthy eating and running. I am at the end of week 5 of couch to 5k.

I may cut out carbs though as I have ibs issues and wake up feeling queasy when I have carbs with evening meal but ok when I don’t
