That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

Small steps but in the right direction.
I have eaten so much pineapple I've burnt my tongue!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 20/05/2019 21:49

I've had 39 WW points today. (Most of them after dinner!) I'm meant to have 23. I've only got 3 of the weekly points left and they don't reset till Saturday.

Why am I so undisciplined???

MrsMozartMkII · 20/05/2019 22:30

Everyone doing pretty well 👍

Either I've had a bug out the IBS head been playing up. Either way it's been a day spent in bed. Tomorrow will be better on all counts!

wildhairdontcare · 20/05/2019 22:41

You can pull it back @HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo!

I used most of mine Friday , they reset on Friday!

Today I had 25g seeded porridge with almond milk and berries 5sp.

Skinny latte 2sp.

Skinni wrap, chicken breast, Cesar dressing, lettuce, tomato and pepper 4sp. Homemade tomato and pepper soup 1sp.

Apple 0sp.

M&S reduced fat sausages x3, Tuscan bean stew and tender stem broccoli 7sp.

Count on us chocolate mousse, strawberries and raspberries 4sp.

I have 25sp so two rolled over to make up for only having six weeklies left Blush.

I'm in too, if it's not too late. Baby weight never quite shifted until I did January - April LCHF last year and lost 2st for a holiday. Since then, about half of it has come back on, and I'd love to get shot of it, and some more too. I have just started 16:8 + LCHF, hoping to get into a bit of a groove with it again. Last year, I found motivational memes about weightloss really inspiring cringe so will hunt a few tip-top ones down to keep me motivated!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 20/05/2019 23:44

@wildhairdontcare - wow, your day's food sounds lovely! I've had so much less to eat, but all mine has been pointy. But yours sounds lush, healthy, but LUSH.

I need to do a WW-friendly food shop but we're skint till Friday. Next week will be better! I'm meal-planning and creating an organised list,

ChubRubTub · 21/05/2019 02:59

Week 1 done for me. I've lost 4.5lbs, so moving in the right direction!

PumpkinPie2016 · 21/05/2019 06:35

Well done chub!

wildhairdontcare · 21/05/2019 07:50

@HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo use the few days to Friday to meal plan. If I'm looking forward to my next meal that's half the battle. Love the recipes on the ww app!

wildhairdontcare · 21/05/2019 07:51

Well done @ChubRubTub!

MrsMozartMkII · 21/05/2019 09:16

Well done Chub!

HasThis I'll join you in the meal planning. I'm not following ww or other, just logging with MFP, but could do with being a bit more organized.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 09:21

WELL Done ChubRub! That's a great loss! Wahoooo!!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 09:22

wildhair -- that's a good tip, thanks. And your comment. " If I'm looking forward to my next meal that's half the battle," really made me smile. :) I know exactly what you mean!

Seer · 21/05/2019 09:24

@TantricTwist, it's mostly about how I feel in clothes for me too.

I'd previously always had such a flat stomach that it's been quite an experience for that not to be the case over the last 6 months or so. Buying tops specifically because of what they'll hide isn't something I want to continue doing!

I've lost around 7lb now and have got about a stone to go to be back at my old fighting weight (11 st 7, which doesn't sound that light but I'm 5'7 and muscular and seem to be one of those people who weigh heavy! I'm a size 10 with a flat stomach at that weight).

Dh and I are having a take-away, a glass of wine and belatedly watching GoT tonight (we were both working last night Hmm) but with fasting this morning and having a filling lunch, I'll still only eat 1200 calories for the day - which is blowing my mind!

I realise now how many extra calories I was unnecessarily clocking up on mindless consumption and over-large portions!

Bookaholic73 · 21/05/2019 09:26

Morning everyone.

2lbs lost this week! I’m really pleased. It’s actually been quite easy. Famous last words!

Bookaholic73 · 21/05/2019 09:27

Seer wearing clothes to hide my stomach isn’t what I want to do either. It’s so restricting.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 09:27

@MrsMozartMkII

Yes, let's meal plan! I asked on the WW app for recipe ideas and got a few. If you have any lovely diet-friendly meals, please post below! That goes for everyone, actually.

So far, I'm thinking:

Spaghetti Bolognese with 5% mince and loads of hidden veg
Chicken fajitas, heavy on the salad
Salmon & prawns cooked in filo parcels with loads of green veg
BBQ burgers
Summery lamb casserole (like a light tomato thing, not heavy with dumplings lol)
Fajitas for the win
Chicken Caesar salad
Tomato & Basil soup
Chicken and red pepper curry

Anyone else?

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 09:28

I have to wear clothes that hide my tummy, thighs, upper arms and arse. There are like 3 things in the world I can wear.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 09:29

@Seer "Dh and I are having a take-away, a glass of wine and belatedly watching GoT tonight (we were both working last night hmm) but with fasting this morning and having a filling lunch, I'll still only eat 1200 calories for the day - which is blowing my mind!"

This is amazing! What takeaway are you having?

Jinglejanglefish · 21/05/2019 09:50

Hi, late to the party but I'd like to join!

Currently 12.2 stone and nearly 8 months post partum. I would like to get down to around 11 stone and be in the 'healthy' weight range for my height.

I am doing a 'lite' version of low carb high fat, as I need this to be a long term, sustainable thing, not a quick fix.

Yesterday was porridge for breakfast (hadn't done the shopping yet and the only other option was toast)
A yogurt, then a boiled egg and later a few slices of cheese spread through the afternoon.
Dinner was a puff pastry Mediterranean veg tart with asparagus on the side.

Today I've had strawberries with greek yoghurt and crushed pecans. I'll have a boiled egg in about an hour as I'm out over lunchtime and don't want to get home super hungry and raid the fridge.

Jinglejanglefish · 21/05/2019 09:54

Also meant to add fitness wise I'm pretty happy with how it's going. Doing c25k twice a week, trying to do a little yoga everyday plus 2x proper classes a week and one postnatal Pilates class a week. My gym has a lovely crèche which I can leave DD in for an hour while I run.

Seer · 21/05/2019 09:58

@HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo

tbh, what I'm having probably isn't that amazing for most people Grin I'm vegan anyway so it'll be my usual of some kind of veg curry, rice, chapati but will keep an eye on my portion sizes.

I'm sticking 80% of the time to Dr Greger's Daily Dozen, which is incredibly filling and totals approx 1200 calories. So on days where I'm having something that's not quite DD-approved (eg wine, white rice or take-away curry!), I'll cut down a bit on my other portions to account for it. It's still SO much food (volume-wise) that I'm never hungry.

TantricTwist · 21/05/2019 10:47

Well done ChubbRub

I was doing ok yesterday then for some unexplicable reason ate a whole tub of Philadelphia cheese with half a packet of Finn crisp, I just couldn't stop myself.

So far today I've just had a cup of Tea [bew]

TantricTwist · 21/05/2019 10:48
  • I mean't to add just before bed - the cheese and crackers.
HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 21/05/2019 11:02

TantricTwist that's exactly the kind of thing I'd do. 😆 Hope you enjoyed every mouthful!
