That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

@MrsMozartMkII Oh they sound adorable! Such a vivid description. They learn! 😆 I love it.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 00:00

I'm having a stand off with my WW app. It's looking at me, going, "So - are you going to log that chocolate-chip cookie then?" And I'm staring at it, mouth covered in chocolate, mumbling, "What cookie?"

DS hadn't eaten them, bless him. He'd hidden the tin under the sink. If I'd done any cleaning today I would have found them, but alas.

Today I've had:

Shreddies and milk
1 sausage
1 small bag crisps
Another salmon frittata (they're amazing!!)
About 30 black coffees
2 more bags of crisps WHY
2 cookies WHYYYY
2 bars of Crispy Rolls WHYYYYYYYYY

Wow, that's bad, isn't it? It felt like nothing at the time, but looking st it now here, and on my thighs it's such empty, unhealthy rubbish (apart from the frittata).

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 00:01

@peanutbutterismydownfall What cheesecake is it?! 😋

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 00:04

@Bookaholic73 I FEEL YOUR PAIN! Pms cravings are unreal. And always for fatty stuff like chocolate, cheese, pastry, pizza... Weirdly I always crave salad cream too. Basically everything.

How long do your craving-days last? I tend to have one insane day then it fails off slightly again for another hour month.

Stay on the line. Help is coming.

Went to an event last night - lots of wine, buffet dinner - but I stuck to fizzy water and ate a small plate full of veggies and salad and a few new potatoes. I left and called a taxi before they could bring out dessert!

wildhairdontcare · 17/05/2019 07:14

Well despite my accidental cake scoffing (probably next weeks problem) I have lost 5.6lbs in my first week.

About to meal plan for the coming week and order shopping. Off today so cleaning then hair and nails. Filling my day to avoid coffee and cake!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 07:44

@wildhairdontcare - that's amazing! Well done!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 07:45

@ltk - I'm seriously impressed with your steely determination there!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 08:08

I've lost a pound. And I updated my WW app honestly with all the crap I ate yesterday, and I'm still within my WW weekly total points. I have 1 WW point left, and 23 normal points.

ltk · 17/05/2019 08:12

Thanks sodding. I want to lose this weight much more than I want wine. And I have lost 2 pounds this first week, so it's motivating me to keep on track.

Great job being a pound down!

ILiveInSalemsLot · 17/05/2019 08:42

Well done everyone still going, no matter what battles we’re facing. I would definitely lose the battle against a cheesecake!

Ltk and Wildhair that’s fab! Well done.

I have amazingly lost 6lbs! I know most of it is probably water weight but the fact that my jeans feel looser is great.

StoatofDisarray · 17/05/2019 08:50

I had a very random day and went off piste yesterday! I defrosted a couple of chicken breasts while I was at work and on the way home I bought some Patak's korma sauce because I was desperate for something meaty and mildly spicy. I don't normally eat korma (too sweet) but I went ahead and made it up and wolfed half of it, then half an hour later ate the rest: a total of a whole jar of sauce and 1/2 kg chicken. I felt grim afterwards. It wasn't particularly nice (thin and tasteless) and I don't really like chicken breasts anyway but I bought 5kg of them a month or so ago and I need to use them up.

TL;DR: overate but that's fixable. Also, does anyone have any decent low card chicken breast recipes?

Smiled: I can never resist free food at work either. It seems wrong not to dive in!

plonkie · 17/05/2019 08:54

Well done everyone! Remember it's another day today (errr albeit a Friday, so probs not gonna be the best day for me!) so we can wipe the skate clean and start again.
I've lost 4 lbs this week which I'm over the moon about. Haven't been this weight for over 5 years. In total I've lost 2 stone since Christmas now :-)

Fasting till lunch again. Itll be a takeaway and booze for us tonight so I need to minimise the damage.

I'm effing knackered though, which always makes me need food!

plonkie · 17/05/2019 08:55

Slate not skate! Although there's nowt worse than mucky skates

StoatofDisarray · 17/05/2019 09:15

plonkie: That's fantastic! Well done!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 10:03

@plonkie - that's brilliant!!!!

AyahuascaTrip · 17/05/2019 10:04

Oh my god, amazing weight loss everybody! That’s a combined achievement of over 18lbs all together isn’t it?!

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 10:05

Ok, these mega-losses have reignited my resolve! I don't want to get left behind when you all skip into modelling contracts and Goop guest-posts.

I'm making a tomato, basil and roasted-pepper soup. I've still got some frittata left. My WW weigh-in is tomorrow. I can do this.

wildhairdontcare · 17/05/2019 11:23

Well done everyone!

Out shopping and only had a coffee = major achievement for me!

ChubRubTub · 17/05/2019 12:58

Had some bad work related news today, so feeling really crap. Still managed to stay below 900 calories. (I was planning a 1200 day).

On the plus side, maybe the stress will help with losing weight. Every cloud!

Well done on your losses everyone.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 17/05/2019 13:30

Oh no, ChubRubTub! Work stress is hideous. But yes, the adrenaline and cortisol should burn calories. Plus you might not be able to afford food soon, so the weight should just just fall off!

On a serious note - hope you're ok.

wildhairdontcare · 17/05/2019 13:54

That sucks @ChubRubTub. Hopefully your skinny and in stable employment soon! X

TantricTwist · 17/05/2019 13:59

Well done everyone.

So today I'm at home and feeling tired.
Breakfast was just Tea.
Lunch just now was 2 large pitta stuffed with with hummus, tomato and lettuce plus a coffee. No way could I not eat as I was feeling dizzy and I need to study for an exam. Am now studying after a mornings procrastination and brain fog.
Only exercise today will be walking DS to his optician appt and back later so around an hour in total.

I have an emergency tin of Drumstick lollies which I seem to be addicted to, hidden by the side of my bed so had one of those late last night Blush seems to curb my sweet craving, oh crap I just remembered I ate a ton of my DD dairy milk bar which she accidently left lying on the kitchen table last night Shock. I literally inhaled it, she was not impressed. It was a while after our pasta and salad.

ILiveInSalemsLot · 17/05/2019 19:09

Er I don’t know what happened today but I ate a bit too much cake methinks. And crisps.
Back to fasting tomorrow.

Mallowmarshmallow · 17/05/2019 19:13

Yes please!! I started last week, 13 weeks out from my holiday which as someone else said I also booked aaaages ago but have spent the last year faffing about unsuccessfully.

I'm using MFP and aiming for 1200 calories a day. It's bloody hard but I lost 2lb last week and am hoping for the same this week....

I absolutely do not want to be this big on my holiday and perhaps I'm going to be more committed with a harsh deadline upon me....

I'd love to lose 2 stone but 1.11 would get me near to where I want to be....
