That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

I've eaten today: (saying this confidently in the past tense in the hope I dont scoff tonight!)... quite a lot actually-
Breakfast was a bit of black pudding, half a piece of toast, scrambled egg and mushrooms. With butter in it all Haha
Lunch- egg mayo and cucumber wrap
Snack- nuts
Tea- homemade Turkey burgers wrapped in lettuce, with egg fried rice
As you can tell, I like egg!
DS was off nursery today and I like to eat with him so dont tend to fast on a weds.
Still under 1400 for the day though, so I'm happy. I'm kinda hungry though?

plonkie · 15/05/2019 20:36

Wow Smiled, well done!

TantricTwist · 15/05/2019 22:02

ILiveinSalemslot thanks for the Eric Berg tip I'll watch that in a bit.

I feel I have to list what I've eaten so it feels real esp as I have done barely any exercise today.

Tea
coffee
Actimel yoghurt drink
tomatoes and mozarella cheese
spag bol
custard doughnut

might walk up and down the stairs a few times

peanutbutterismydownfall · 15/05/2019 22:11

No breakfast
Lunch was sweet potato, tuna mayo & veg
Tea - 3x scrambled egg with toast & marmite

MrsMozartMkII · 16/05/2019 07:30

Yesterday was day 3.

Not a good one. Didn't register till late in the day that off innards was probably due to the ice cream from the day before. A day of driving and eating on the run as it were. This morning am tired and lethargic. Complete contrast to how I was when back on my 'what I should eat', so back to it today!

Well done all on keeping it up Smile

wildhairdontcare · 16/05/2019 07:33

@MrsMozartMkII onwards and upwards!
I often wonder why we do it to ourselves, I feel 100% better when I eat well yet still blow it regularly.

MrsMozartMkII · 16/05/2019 07:59

Thank you Wildhair! We must be a bit bonkers, though it's surprisingly hard to ignore the desire for the taste even when we're know what effect it's likely to have.

Ah well. As you say "Onwards and upwards!" Grin

plonkie · 16/05/2019 08:28

Mrs Mozart and Wildhair. Yes I'm always so frustrated with myself for having into temptation because I feel so much better when I eat well! Just a greedy bitch I am!
So today I'm fasting till 11am at least (doing 8/16). Going to go for a lovely walk in the local nature reserve as it's a beautiful day :-).
Going to do some weights and yoga too.
Plus a shitload of housework obvs!
Have a good day everyone :-)

ILiveInSalemsLot · 16/05/2019 09:39

I totally get what you’re talking about! I do this too. At the moment, I’m eating well and feeling positive and energetic but I know all it takes is one slice of toast (mmm toast) and I become a lethargic carb junkie again.
I don’t want to do that.
Fasting again today and I’ve just been out for a long walk in nature and feel great.

MrsMozartMkII · 16/05/2019 11:53

Don't mention toast...! At least my brain does now know that toast will, despite being yummy at the time, cause havoc to m'innards.

Am holding onto this thread to not to indulge even though I know Coke and crisps would perk me right up and I could do with a good perking WinkGrin

Onwards to a ham salad for lunch having beaten the deamons this morning with a nut bar, a small nectarine, and a SIS (hydration etc., fizzy tablet thing).

ChubRubTub · 16/05/2019 13:01

Day 3 done for me.

I made StoatofDisarray's frittata today, which was lovely. I've got some left for tomorrow as well. I'm so much less likely to go off track if I've got healthy food to hand.

I had a chicken and cauliflower thai curry for dinner.

I struggled around 5ish, but don't feel hungry at all now.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 16/05/2019 15:16

My son hid the cookies from me so I couldn't blow my diet. I must've burned off a million cookies' worth of calories turning the house upside down in my search! 😆

Still can't find them.

I might have sent him a few messages begging for information.

MrsMozartMkII · 16/05/2019 16:30

Chub that frittata does sound good.

HasThis I wonder if he hid them in his tummy...? Grin

Almost caved this afternoon as felt grot and had to bath a 'Raptor when I got home (he's been poorly, I won't go into detail!), but I resisted and just had some porridge to keep me going 'till dinner. Also resisted the cakes in M&S! Yay me lol Halo Thought of this thread and y'all working so hard. Had my reward when I got home and tried on some new clothes. Got into size 12! I think they must be rather generous and I won't be seen out in them just yet, but even being able to get into a 12 made it all worthwhile

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 16/05/2019 16:37

You had to bath a 'Raptor? Ok, I need more information here. What??!

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 16/05/2019 16:39

Today I have eaten:
A million tiny sandwiches and a packet of crisps and a fruit salad at a working lunch - this is why I need to do the fast days!!!

Exercise was about an hours walk.

Hope everyone's doing better than me today 😬

HasThis Have two Rottweilers. They've been nicknamed The Velociraptors ('Raptors for short) as they learn! And focus so intently. And have surprisingly long necks when their attention is locked on. And they do that head tilt and have the unblinking eye 🦖🦅🐊

They're actually really just cuddly bears, but the nn has stuck Bear

TantricTwist · 16/05/2019 17:32

Today I've been at work all day and just had a coffee and a Chupa Chubb lollipop.
I think my spag bol last night filled me up quite well.
I've just had a Fab ice-lolly and I'm going to go for a walk with my DD as it's sunny out.
Ignoring the Fab ice-lolly I'm going to fast till dinner and have pasta with the leftover Bolognaise I made and a salad.

Which kind of means I will have sort of fasted for 24 hrs ish?

MrsMozart Grin at velociraptors

Soddingname I also immediately thought they're in his tummy Grin or under his pillow.

MrsMozartMkII · 16/05/2019 19:49

Goodness Tantric I'd been in a pathetic heap on not a lot, but if it works for you then happy days Smile

I think I'm on day 4. Will attempt to remember to note it.

AyahuascaTrip · 16/05/2019 20:14

I think it’s day 5 for me (started Sunday?) feeling virtuous on 1500 ish calories from: apple, banana, toasted rye bread with avocado and tomatoes, quite a big bowl of mixed bean chili 😋 🌶 and 1400 steps (2x 3 mile walks and mucking out).

plonkie · 16/05/2019 21:32

Smiled At least you did the hours walk to counteract it somewhat :-). I cant resist tiny sandwiches either. Or big massive ones.
I've walked about 4 miles in total, just being outside was lovely.
I'm now a bloody knackered mess because it's taken me a whole 2 hours to try and get my toddler to sleep... the attempt failed. I'm so tired as been awake since 5ish (standard) and he woke up 3 times last night. Sigh. I've hit the booze but only going to have 2 g&t so not too bad... as long as I dont scoff

Bookaholic73 · 16/05/2019 21:34

Strawberry tomorrow is another day...let’s just hope we do better

wildhairdontcare · 16/05/2019 22:29

I accidentally are chocolate cake after dinner Blush. Weigh in tomorrow morning!

peanutbutterismydownfall · 16/05/2019 23:05

I was doing OK until I had a piece of cheesecake. Why oh why? Although it is one I have had before and is amazing so the calories were sort of worth it.
Otherwise
Porridge pot for breakfast
Shepherds pie for lunch
Chicken salad sandwich for tea
