That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.

It must have felt strange going from 9 stone to 13 @DottieLottie1 Can you see how it happened?

Lazy morning here, currently drinking coffee in the garden then I'd better walk the dogs before it gets any hotter! Then dropping both DCs to a friend's and have a rare few hours to myself, think I'll go clothes shopping 

That's assuming dh isn't back earlier than planned, in which case he and I will have a rare few hours together!

D: no idea actually! Maybe pasta or something in wraps

I'm getting in the habit of having breakfast but no lunch at weekends which helps keep calories low-ish and mixes it up from missing breakfast on my week days!

Will aim for around 1200 cals.

I think I can see the difference the kettlebell swings are making now too, I'm looking more toned and stronger. That's doing 75-90 reps every other day. I wish I'd discovered them years ago!

All good here. I didn't eat much yesterday but did drink quite a lot of Prosecco and Aperol spritz and had a few nibbles of cheese, salami, gherkins, nuts and Bombay mix. Did a fair bit of walking too.

Miraculously no hangover possibly due to the dispersible aspirin I took before bed whilst my head was spinning like a mad hatters teacup.

Today I've had a chicken wrap, ice tea, nectarine and a lie in.

I kind of buried my head in the sand @Seer but honestly don't know how I got to 13st 4 without realising sooner 

I've still got a stone and half to go before I'm 10 stone again (well hopefully). I think it my case it's definitely the alcohol to blame and stretchy waistbands, as one size seems to fit all 

@TantricTwist your nibbles of yesterday sounds lovely.

@DottieLottie1 I've Yo-Yo'd so much weight wise and you can see why really I guess.

Thankfully I'm not putting any weight on at the moment and I happily wore my denim mini skirt yesterday, was happy with how I looked in all the photos yesterday which is a rare thing.
I put on a lot of weight earlier this year which I've now lost but I'm only down to my still overweight weight >>sigh

@TantricTwist it's so lovely looking at photos of yourself and feeling happy, isn't it? I had that feeling after the 'bread and crafts' night Wink and realised how poignant it was.

I think size 12 is a lovely, healthy size to get to. You're doing so well, it's inevitable if you carry on this way. Are you feeling any closer to wanting to weigh yourself or are you still wanting to go by how your clothes feel?

That's a real shame about your back getting in the way of your exercise. I hope you can find something that works for you.

Maybe after summer I'll get some scales @Seer

I grew up being slender so never needed to diet, think about food or weigh myself. I feel that if I get scales then I'll be beholden to them.

However I do now feel lighter, more energetic and the heat hasn't bothered me at all really.
I feel that I'm ready to do more proper physical exercise at a gym with a pool. I used to go to quite a fancy one for a while but found I just didnt have the time or energy so stopped it. I had paid extra to have a flexible contract which I could stop at any time knowing that I would have to eventually.

I want to get back into that routine that when I have a day off I can just go for a swim or do a crazy body pump class or whatever. Painkillers work enough to deal with my back issues. I actually want to exercise properly in a decent gym.

At least yours posted @DottieLottie1 , I lost a massive post this morning! Hmm

A pound is still a brilliant loss, especially when you're getting closer to your goal weight.

I get what you mean re scales @TantricTwist , I've weighed myself more in the last 3 months than I have my whole life put together! It's working well to keep me on track now but I will probably stop weighing and start just measuring my waist weekly once I'm maintaining.

Busy day here. Gardener was due early to help me re-do a big border cottage garden-stylee (it's looking soooo lovely!) so I was up early to get my kettlebells in first.

B: fasted
L: (after fasting for nearly 19 hours!) nut cutlet in half sour dough mini baguette (random but was in a hurry)
D: lentil bolognese with whole wheat spaghetti and broccoli

Should be under 1k cal.

Currently at the park watching the DCs skate/zip wire and then will dash back home to make dinner before a 6.30pm client call.

All I've eaten today is a chicken, tomato and lettuce wrap and a plum. I've been in and out all day. I need to pop out again but I can't be arsed Grin
