That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

@DottieLottie1 we'll be having pizza delivered on Monday I think. Hope you enjoyed yours.

@Seer sounds like a busy week. Mines been chilled as I've been working and the teen and tween have been off school since last week.

I've made mango sorbet, plus potato salad and coleslaw for lunch next week.

B- crunchy nut cornflakes
L - one boiled potato so far
D - pork chop with veg

I'm making and drinking a lot of ice tea at the moment. Mainly because I loved the cold bottle of Lipton tea I got free the other day whilst in town with DD. So am recreating my own.

DottieLottie1 · 28/07/2019 15:03

Well done @Seer!

It's been a miserable day today. Bad weather combined with a very, very unusual disagreement with DH. We don't normally fall out but I think it's going to take a bit of getting over Sad

I've left the house, for thinking space. Not sure whether I'll eat today- nothing to do with dieting but loss of appetite.

TantricTwist · 28/07/2019 18:40

Oh @DottieLottie1 sorry to hear about yr argument. Bit of head space is good.

DottieLottie1 · 28/07/2019 19:07

Thanks @TantricTwist it's not normal, I'm a bit shocked to be honest. Sad

New day tomorrow I suppose.

Seer · 28/07/2019 20:06

That sounds tough @DottieLottie1 , sending you love. I hope tomorrow brings harmony for you Thanks

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 09:02

Thanks for your kind comments @Seer and @TantricTwist . Everything seems to be ok, DH apologised as soon as I walked through the front door (which is unheard of Grin)! Hopefully that's a line drawn under that as I don't do drama!

Back to the subject at hand, it's weigh day for me. Drum roll 🥁 ..... 2lb down .

Starting weight-

13.04

Current weight-

11.07

Goal-

10.00

So crossed the half way line and 1 1/2 st to go. 54% there....

I'm not sure I will make 2 stone in 12 weeks as I've got to lose 3lb this week to achieve it. I also don't know if eating nothing yesterday had a baring on the result!

Plans for today-

B- Vanilla and almond milk shake

Long walk with the dog

Need to get a few bits and bobs from out of town shopping centre.

L- probably almond milk hot choc and berries

D- pasta based (I think)

Should be around 1000 cals but depends on what we have for dinner.

What are your plans for today?

Seer · 29/07/2019 09:02

Feeling so motivated to get back on plan! I'm proud of how I managed during Party Week but I'm glad to be getting back to normal.

How are you @DottieLottie1 and @TantricTwist ? How are things there now @DottieLottie1 ?

I'm starting the Warrior Diet (undereat or fast for 20 hours, overeat for 4 hours) more intentionally today after playing around with it over the past week:

B: fasting until 1pm (17 hours since I last ate)
L: grazing on berries, almonds, & carrot batons if hungry
D (overeating window starts at 4pm but won't eat until I have dinner at 6pm as I will go over on cals otherwise): salad then roast squash, tofu and pineapple tacos with home-made guacamole and salsa

Not sure about cals yet but deffo below 1k

Have a lovely day both of you!

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 09:04

MFP progress so far....

12 weeks to lose 2 stone
Seer · 29/07/2019 09:05

Cross-posted @DottieLottie1 ! So glad you're back to normal with your DH

And that's amazing news!!!! That's so much weight lost so quickly and halfway is a real milestone. You must be so pleased with yourself Smile

How will you celebrate?!

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 09:11

Thanks @seer, like your plan!

As for celebrating, just a good old pat on my own back and that feeling of "come on, I can do it!". I will be buying myself some new clothes as soon as I'm at goal weight- and hopefully wearing my old wardrobe.

Thinking ahead how do you work out a maintenance diet? Confused

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 09:13

And still no one has noticed! 😂

Seer · 29/07/2019 09:44

It's crazy that you've lost nearly 2 stone and no-one has noticed! Grin

Maintenance-wise, I'm hoping that a mash-up of following The Warrior Diet and 16:8 Mon-Fri will help me to maintain without calorie counting but I will be weigh and measure weekly to be sure. If I put on any weight then I will keep an eye on calories again until I'm back at my happy weight.

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 10:18

Fingers crossed that works for you @Seer , like you I don't want to be calorie counting forever! But, I aim to make wise choices with the odd treat here and there!

Maybe people have noticed but haven't mentioned! I'm tallish at 5'9" so maybe not that noticeable.... DH hasn't said a word! Saying that he never notices a haircut or change in colour either Hmm

DottieLottie1 · 29/07/2019 18:34

Low calories today as I didn't make it to the food shop today. Monday's are my normal big supermarket shop.

So, as we had avocado needing eating it's that on toast with salami and crushed chilli. Yum!

Will end the day on 900.

How's both your days been?

Seer · 29/07/2019 19:32

I'm feeling super-hormonal but on the upside I feel totally stuffed after dinner and ending on 941 cals including a spritzer! Really happy about that.

It deffo could suit me fasting for 20 hours tho it's tricky with my children at home because I don't want them to know I'm missing meals until I know I'm continuing with it and I feel I can explain it in a way that gives proper context of the benefits of fasting for adults.

I just ate a basic small salad and miso soup at lunch time today which probably made me hungrier than if I'd fasted through to 20 hours.

When my 4 hour eating window began I had some raw veg and posh hummus (that Sabra one with the pine nuts on top!) to start and then a massive dinner of v macaroni cheese, tonnes of veg and some tofu nuggets. (Having tacos another day)

If I continue 20:4 after I reach my goal weight I think I'll need to make an effort to fit in enough calories in those 4 hours!

Seer · 30/07/2019 10:08

Morning @DottieLottie1 and @TantricTwist how are you both and what are your plans today?

I've got a client call this morning and then think I'll take the DCs to watch Lion King. It's meant to rain today but I'm currently drinking my (black) coffee in the sunshine Smile

Foodwise:

B: fasting
L: fasting
D: the tacos I'd planned yesterday

I think I'll have some salted popcorn in the cinema as I'll feel v deprived without Grin but hopefully that'll be after 18 hours of fasting so I'll have already benefitted.

Should be around 1k cals again.

The scales are holding steady at my new lowest weight but flickered to the pound below this morning, which usually happens before I drop that pound.

I think I might just make my goal weight literally in time for our holiday!

DottieLottie1 · 30/07/2019 10:24

Yes it's supposed to rain in our part of the world today, but like you it was sunny and warm when I woke!

I've just done the big food shop and I'm looking after my niece and nephew (baby and toddler). Nothing planned as such but my DD is doing crafts with the toddler.

Menu for today...

B- Vanilla and Almond milk shake
L- Raspberries/Strawbs/blueberries
D- pesto pasta, goats cheese and bread with balsamic dipping oil. Olives

Will be a

TantricTwist · 30/07/2019 11:40

I'm good @Seer and @DottieLottie1. You're both doing really well.

Working yesterday and did have a delivery Pizza for dinner despite having pasta, coleslaw, chicken, aubergine bake and an apple throughout the day. That's it though no other snacks or alcohol. Still over 2-3K in calories I would think.

So far today I've not eaten anything but will make up some cous cous for work lunch on Wed and Thurs.

Not sure what to eat today. It's cloudy and windy here. I keep waking up with aching ears which is very odd, hope it's not the start of a cold or anything like that.

DottieLottie1 · 30/07/2019 12:59

We're now getting rain showers then bursts of sunshine, definitely the great British summer!

Hope you enjoyed your pizza @TantricTwist I certainly did on Saturday Wink You can get back on track this week. Cross fingers your ear ache doesn't turn into something nasty, might be wise to be prepared though.

TantricTwist · 30/07/2019 14:11

The weather is truly shit here right now, very windy with rain. I hope its sunny and lovely for the weekend as I'm out all day.

I've only eaten a plum so far today. I'm not hungry at all. At least the pizza calories have transfered over to today Grin

I'm going away next week with the DC so hopefully my ear wont explode on the plane Shock and be super painful. I will pack a ton of pain killers etc and pray for sun.

DottieLottie1 · 30/07/2019 16:38

Where are you holidaying (country/ area don't expect outing location Wink) @Seer and @TantricTwist ?

I've got a UK camping break at end of August- West Country, and then a couple of UK weekends away between then and Xmas.

Main holiday is March, mexico. Smilei

TantricTwist · 30/07/2019 17:12

Arriba Arriba Mexico, lovely Gin - (tequila)

We're going to Disneyland Paris to have a compact few days of craziness as we all love that kind of thing. I can't wait, even the prospect of afternoon showers isn't dampening my excitement Smile.
So there will be lots of walking and not a lot of time for eating so I'm hoping to lose a bit of weight, fingers crossed.

TantricTwist · 30/07/2019 17:13

I've eaten another plum and that's still it. I'll eat a bowl of alpen later when I get hungry and leave at that to make up for yesterday.

DottieLottie1 · 30/07/2019 17:59

All that walking your going to do together with food prices will keep your weight in check @TantricTwist Wink

TantricTwist · 30/07/2019 19:48

I know I know I'm dreading the food prices there @DottieLottie1 There's a McDonalds on site I'm hoping is cheap so we'll be living off that all week Grin Hmm. I'm hoping there's somewhere nearby I can buy baguettes, ham, cheese and wine. I do fancy going to the Ratatouille Restaurant though on site.

I've eaten a chicken salad, still felt hungry so cooked 2 pork chops before I demolished some BBQ flavoured crackers. Lunch tomorrow is chicken salad.
