Exante - Here I come AGAIN!

I got Exante last year and I've still got the bulk of the damn stuff!
I imagine the sachets and bars in their boxes, just fuming with rage, resentment and regret. Blush

I look back over last year and see just easy I was knocked off course.
Fair enough, it was a bad year and I perhaps didn't really appreciate how badly I was handling certain personal issues. But i do need to stop making excuses. Sad
And I intend to. I can't change past events, and I may be struggling a tad, but taking control can only help, I'm sure.

I'm starting for definite on Wednesday 6th March. It's a habit from childhood that I follow Lent, so it seems a good day to recommence.

I'm planning 5 days completely 'on' , then 2 days off but calorie counted. But - as per my usual Lent habit - no proper chocolate, sweets, biscuits.

Anyone want to help with advice/support?

Or, join in? Wink

troppi - good idea to have a good visualisation in mind to help get us through.
I think thats what I lacked last year and I cant bear the thought of another fat summer. Hmm

You mentioned 30 day shred. Keep us in touch with that? I'm tempted to get a week or so under my belt and then add a DVD into the mix.
I'm definitely interested in the 30 day shred!

Does Antoine know what’s in the four week plan? Is it just shakes and bars?

Villanellesproudmum · 04/03/2019 11:12

Not sure who Antoine is Grin maybe anyone know?

troppibambini · 04/03/2019 11:20

Nocanoe I will do,the plan was to do it when I got back from dropping off the kids at school but I've messed around on mumsnet insteadGrinBlush
Got to take dh to pick his car so WILL do it when I get back.
I have done it before (for a week) it's the beginners one I have which if you have not been exercising (like me is great) it's hard but doable I ache the next day. Dh is really into fitness and he's done it with me and gets a bit of a sweat on, but no aches the next day.
Villanelle I'm not sure but I got my info from the website there is a section called our plans which I think details them all.

FourLittleDucklings · 04/03/2019 11:39

I started last Weds too, I’m doing 2 shakes Mon-Thursday, and at the weekend is low calorie food & no carbs, minimal prosecco if I have a night out etc.

Doing two shakes those weekdays, as I simply cannot live without milk in my tea, and I’ve never eaten breakfast in the morning as it makes me feel sick eating early. Then if I’m struggling I can allow myself a cuppa soup thing (100 cals) some days I need something warming to eat.

I did it last year and lost 2 stone, & felt amazing (put it back on now Shock)

We can do it, just keep drinking water!

NoCanoe · 04/03/2019 12:28
Grin Antoine is joining us, too, is she? Welcome to villanelle and littleduckling !

Troppi - the only exercise I get these days is a slow wander with my dog. We used to step it out, but he's slowed down now and I've followed suit!

I've started (again) today! Feeling really motivated and Lent will definitely help as I usually stick to giving up one thing Grin.

I've done exante before a few years ago and got down to my goal, but gradually its crept back on , all 3 stone of it.

So, today is Day 1. Maple pancakes for breakfast, choc orange bar for lunch (easy at work), also trying to force 2 litres of water in!

The recipe has definitely changed for the pancakes but I'm not hungry - yet.

NoCanoe · 04/03/2019 13:43

Hop aboard missmaxie

Ive just had a coffee caramel shake - a few months past its expiry date, but no problem!

Im determined to finish up the out of date ones before i move on to the others who have been left in the dark like mushrooms in their boxes.

Can a Slim and save re re re starter slip in ?
Did quite well last year (not the 1st time Confused ) but being the yoyo that is moi, I really need to kick my own ass ( haha predictive text was mass - sooo true ) and lose at least 3 stone ! I'm fed up of putting life on hold and trying not to be seen.

NoCanoe · 04/03/2019 15:49

VictoriaBun - we all need a kick up our mass! So you Definately found the right place. Wink

How are we all doing so far today? I'm drinking plenty of water. Saintly me!

OP posts:
NoCanoe · 04/03/2019 15:51

Meant to say, putting life on hold and trying not to be seen resonated with me. That summed my life up perfectly!

OP posts:
troppibambini · 04/03/2019 20:13

Ok so I ate a curly wurly and didn't do the shred.
So could have been betterGrin
My the new positive me says it could have been a lot lot worse!
On a more positive note my cookies arrived there were a few surprises in the box too as I ordered after a couple of glasses of wine.
How was everyone's day?

NoCanoe · 04/03/2019 20:57

Ha!! That made me Grin Troppi - hopefully nice surprises!

I had a shake, a bar and then 6oz of breaded cod, 1 croquette potato, some sweet corn and glass and half of white wine.

Went looking into cupboards for sweets but found none, so have taken myself off to bed instead. More luck than judgement.

These are my ease in days. Wednesday is the turning point. It has to be! Or I May as well throw my clothes off and go to nearest camping store to peruse their selection of fashionable tents. Hmm

Best of luck to everyone so far!

OP posts:
NoCanoe · 05/03/2019 08:17

Ermm.......I did mean 'throw clothes away' not off! Blush

Nothing like a naked browse at the camping store, is there?

OP posts:
VictoriaBun · 05/03/2019 16:13

Yesterday went well . On Slim and save you have 4 shakes ( or a mix of breakfasts/shakes,bars etc ) plus the obligatory swimming pool of water 😜
That went ok, bar 3 trips in the night for a wee.
Today I've had a shake and a bar , so far on track for day 2 to go well also. I supplement with a few veggies such as broccoli and today fancy mushrooms for some weird reason.

NoCanoe · 05/03/2019 17:44

Well done VictoriaBun, sounds a good plan with the veggies etc.

How we all doing in general?
I've had a cherries and berries shake and half a bar so far.
And...yes, bluddy swimming pool of water! Grin
I've been peeing like a racehorse. Or, a horse that doesn't race but just meanders.

OP posts:
troppibambini · 05/03/2019 19:57

Sounds like everyone is doing well Smile
Good day for me
Chocolate cookie
Jam and yogurt bar- this was one ordered when drunk and forgot about it was actually very very nice. Shame I only ordered one!!
Chicken with roasted veg

It's weigh in for me tomorrow night. Fingers crossed for a good result I feel very bloated tonight though and I'm a bit bunged up.
I've got some senacot but I'm nervous about taking it as I'm going to school mass in the morning and could do without shitting myself while receiving the ashes!

Glad you decided to keep your clothes on nocanoe!!Grin

NoCanoe · 05/03/2019 20:24

troppi not even God's good forgiveness will help you out of shitting during mass ! Stay bungled till afterwards!

OP posts:
NoCanoe · 05/03/2019 20:27

I've had salmon and avocado for dinner and 2 squares of chocolate.
And 2 beers.....Blush....But it was my last opportunity! And someone - looking at DH- forgot to bring some wine home.

OP posts:
NoCanoe · 05/03/2019 20:29

Weigh in day tomorrow for me as well, as the official start of my mission.

Good luck to everyone!

OP posts:
troppibambini · 05/03/2019 20:59

Yes canoe that was my thought too!!Grin

MegaBat · 05/03/2019 21:33

Hello all. I'll join you. Start exante tomorrow. Deep sigh

I'll update more tomorrow

NoCanoe · 06/03/2019 04:16

Welcome to 'MegaBat' !
Im not usually up so early, but I'll be damned if I could sleep any longer, what with needing to pee and a cat insisting on practising his
Yodelling technique.

OP posts:
MegaBat · 06/03/2019 15:45

Delivery delayed so I'm starting tomorrow. Absolutely dreading it but needs must as I'm literally so huge I have to roll out of bed. Well, not literally but it's getting that way that's for sure. I just feel bloody enormous but that doesn't seem to stop me shovelling in cake. So abstinence it is as from tomorrow

How many products are you having a day @NoCanoe ? I have ordered bars and shakes as I cannot fade any of their hideous looking meals
