Oh thisonebreath that is disappointing, but remember - you are what you are independently from the scales - if you found out that you (as you are now) weigh 8 stone, would you say, "ah oh, that's ok, I'll quit dieting then!" - ? I don't think so, no?
We don't do this (or at least I don't do this) for the number on the scale, but for eliminating the 'muffin top', diminishing the 'lardy rolls' and gaining not only a more svelte figure but more energy, more strength, and even more joie de vivre too.
And it's not that you are not awesome, now, I am totally sure you are, but you are doing this for your health, and to be fitter and better, not for the number on the scales. That's, truly, just a number. It does not define you now, and it has not defined you before, or in the future.
AmIWelcome - hahaha
how long are your sessions?
I am working towards one hour x day at the end of March, then moving up to 1.30 per day in April (when working from home which I do 3/4 days x week).
I tend to measure my sessions in time spent on the machines and some times if I am doing a particular challenge, on distance. When I am the correct weight for running (I am about 1 stone and a half above it at the moment) then I run first on time, then when my fitness gets better on distance. However, at the moment I am trying to establish a routine to exercising every day.
