Half a stone off in Feb

Smarshian · 04/02/2019 08:12

So I started a half stone thread in Jan and managed to lose 4lb as I lost motivation half way through. Still feeling positive though and want to achieve the full 7lb this month.
Any diet/exercise routine welcome and tips and tricks encouraged. I will be continuing with slimming world (loosely) and I’m training for a 10k next month so regular runs.

Went for a job interview yesterday. Just found out I didn't get the job.

Not even useful feedback.

I want to now eat everything because - fuck it all

That sucks Funky, I’m sorry and totally understand the easy pitfall of self sabotage when something like that happens - but you can do it, be kind to yourself

Bawling your eyes out without chocolate feels like shite.

Luckily I have none and can't be assed to go to the shop

Sorry to hear of some tough times and struggles for some of us. Sometimes I do think you have to get it out of your system then brush yourself off and start afresh. My dd got a special award at school today (well special for a PFB reception child anyway!) so I felt the need to reward her and me with ice cream. For me I got some low cal breyers and then felt so deeply dissatisfied that I threw loads of bad-for-you-toppings on. Should've just had a small portion of proper ice cream!Confused

Right, last day of Feb and I weighed in at 10st 1, down from 10st 4 when I joined this thread. So not the half a stone I hoped, but 3lbs is still in the right direction, and 9lbs total loss since early January.

How have you done @Smarshian?

Are we carrying on for March? Smile

FunkyBarnYardBroom · 28/02/2019 22:19

Yes let's do march!

I started on 9th Feb at 12st 3 and am now 11st 10

7lbs in 3 weeks

Thanks you guys :)

TickVG · 28/02/2019 23:02

I'm up for March too. Was at 10st 9 when I weighed in here on 17th feb and this morning was 10st 5.5. So 3.5lbs lost. Pretty happy with that but I need to harden my ever wavering will! Trying to refocus back to lower carb food, esp for snacks. Anything carby and it just seems to make me hungrier!

FunkyBarnYardBroom · 01/03/2019 08:08

Tried to make a March thread but the app won't let me select a topic....

If anyone else can do it please tag me 😁

SingaporeSlinky · 01/03/2019 09:35

I’ve started a new thread for March and tagged some regulars. Apologies if I missed anyone, pop on over!
