Anyone starting a new diet tomorrow? Want to be diet buddies? Im 14st7lb my heaviest ever at 5ft4. Need some motivation and willpower. Going to be doing meal substitution with shakes twice a day to kickstart my diet. Was meant to start early in January but it didn’t happen and I’ve slipped. Will be doing My Fitness Pal too.

How is everyone getting on today?
Me and DSis has a nice long walk this afternoon so I've got my steps in for today.
Salmon and golden rice for dinner 😊

TinselAndKnickers · 07/02/2019 21:09

Doing okay thanks! A few calories over (less than 20!) but had a good food day so not too bothered.

Breakfast - bacon sandwich (most of today's calories!)
Lunch - hummus and pita
Dinner - my signature boring dish of Mexican chicken with peppers, onions and brown rice Grin

With a Lindt Egg for a treat.

YouBoggleMyMind · 07/02/2019 21:13

Good job Tinsel! I've also had a good day after a delicious meal out last night. Determined to continue my good work!

TinselAndKnickers · 07/02/2019 21:50

That's the spirit! What did you have on your meal out?

recklessgran · 07/02/2019 22:01

Good evening. Bacon and egg for lunch and ham and egg salad for supper. Bit samey but using up stuff in fridge ahead of our weekend away.
Off first thing so will be AWOL until Sunday night when I will confess all. Not intending, nor expecting to be good but will try to minimize the carbs which I know for a fact are my enemy. There is a champagne afternoon tea planned for a start so I know I'm going to be BAD! Ditto a lot of wine will be drunk. Hey Ho!
Hope the rest of you manage to stay on track and have a lovely weekend.

TinselAndKnickers · 07/02/2019 22:12

Have the best weekend reckless! You've done so well, enjoy yourself Grin

YouBoggleMyMind · 07/02/2019 22:30

Went to Prezzo 😊
It's so easy to see how people over eat. Dinner on its own was 2214 calories. Starter, main, desert and 2 glasses of wine!!

TinselAndKnickers · 07/02/2019 23:26

Mmm yummy! Sounds great

TinselAndKnickers · 07/02/2019 23:26

I know what you mean about overeating, my bacon sandwich came in at about 700 calories!!! I'd never have thought it before Blush

YouBoggleMyMind · 07/02/2019 23:40

It was delicious but the main thing is going back to being sensible again. Today was sensible and I'm in the green. Not sure how tomorrow will go but I'm hoping not too badly! Enchiladas on the menu again!

Bacardi101 · 08/02/2019 23:17

Hello everyone! Sorry for the radio silence I didn’t realise MN HQ had logged me off and so I couldn’t find the thread! Blush well done that’s amazing everyone is doing so well!!!!! My week has been ok diet wise but not much excercise due to the awful weather! Nice to be back on the thread I’ve missed it!

TinselAndKnickers · 09/02/2019 00:01

Welcome back Bacardi!

I've just had four huge cookies from Aldi and I'm still about 200 calories under my limit - I've had a great day today food wise!

How is everyone doing?

YouBoggleMyMind · 09/02/2019 00:34

Done my usual eating and drink everything in site 😂👏🏻 I'm such a knob. Perhaps if I rein it in tomorrow and Sunday I'll still lose by Wednesday? Hmm

YouBoggleMyMind · 09/02/2019 00:34

Sight! Blush

TinselAndKnickers · 09/02/2019 00:42

You've still lost more than me you lucky sod!! Grin

MrsMummyBx · 09/02/2019 09:28

Morning ladies argh I need some motivation to keep on track! Just put a chocolate croissant in the oven....not a great start to the day! I’ve put on a lb since Wednesday so need to be good to try and recoup something for next week. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

I’ve just been reading up the thread and catching up on everyone’s news. tinsel sorry to hear your bad news and hope you’re feeling a bit better now. All I can say is that sometimes doctors only know so much about these things and sometimes Mother Nature has bigger and better ideas. I was told a few years ago by a consultant that with my PCOS, if I ever wanted to be pregnant I would need to take medication and it would be nigh on impossible without. After that for the next few months I bit more careless than I would have been otherwise, and I got pregnant with my then boyfriend, we weren’t even living together- it was such a shock. Following a shotgun wedding, the boyfriend became DH and with DS coming up 3 I’m thinking of trying for No2. I’ve had my first period just now since early November so I know it’s not going to be easy but we’ll get there I hope! Actually going to see the docs about it this week. Sending you lots of virtual hugs Flowers

I have PCOS too and had clomid and metformin to conceive DS. No2 is crossing my mind now so really need to shift some weight, even if it is slowly!

DizzyBeeme · 09/02/2019 18:32

Don't worry Mummy, I've had a crappy few days again. Hopefully can rein it in again today and hope the damage isn't too bad.

DizzyBeeme · 10/02/2019 12:11

Thanks boggle . I'm on day 2 and it's not too bad although the food sachets are yukky lol. But the food itself is quite filling which helps!

YouBoggleMyMind · 10/02/2019 12:15

That's good, look forward to seeing your progress!

TinselAndKnickers · 10/02/2019 13:23

Hi everyone! Had a drunken McDonald's last night but still wasn't that bad calorie wise as it was still in my limit!! Even though I didn't count the drinks Blush

Good day today though and the rest of the week should be good as I have nothing planned food wise!
