Didja go on any good digs? I seem to remember an archaeology lecturer who would always go about in leather trousers...

OrmIrian · 22/06/2007 11:42

Oh yes. I remember him. Supposedly gay but we were never sure. I always imagined him having black silk sheets. He had a disturbing obsession with all things Roman and military. Can't remember his name....

Digs - Skomer (very cold), Gwent levels (cold and very muddy), Avebury (very very muddy and also sunburn) So muddy I couldn't roll my fags . Good fun.

Ooh archeology. I'm an armchair archeologist. I used to love Time Team

Righty, today,

salami, cheese
cheese, salami
chicken curry without rice, bread or any chutney
over 2lt water

now, vodka and diet coke

Crotchety · 22/06/2007 20:18

Where's yer veg Frog? You'll get scurvy. Better put some lime in that vodka!

Had onion, garlic ,tomatoes and courgette (didn't have any mushrooms and was thinking on my feet), in my curry

I know, I know, not enough veg, but am seriously peed off that I'm not losing more .

I did a 1 hr work out today with "helen" (without the wellies )

Still want to lose another 1 1/2 to 2 stone and at the moment am well into it, so am making the most of it.

cylonbabe · 23/06/2007 09:21

cylonbabe · 23/06/2007 09:22

Let's all nag the frog! If you don't eat enough, or often enough then that can stall weight loss apparently...6 little meals may start your metabolism on the downward trend?
I dunno - can't speak from much successful experience this time round!

oggsfrog · 23/06/2007 13:26

Gawd. I drank sooo much last night
and somehow was on here until about 4am

Not a good idea to eat so little then drink so much methinks

Strawb...tsk....tsk....

I was in bed last night at a very respectable 9.45pm, and despite being in desperate need of a crab fix (it's all that will do when you've got a hangover isn't it?) I did not succumb, no, no, and was good.

oggsfrog · 24/06/2007 09:43

carb fix, carb fix, not crab

Crotchety · 24/06/2007 20:26

Oh dear - I've lost the plot over the weekend as well...Too much red wine, chocolate, rhubarb fool, raspberry gateau, roast potatoes in garlic, not necessarily in that order...

Shall I see you all back on the wagon tomorrow morning? Save me a seat...

Ooh, I just love blueberries [lip smacking emoticon}(which will also come in useful for any discussions involving Lee Mead )

Crotchety · 25/06/2007 09:15

Sally do you find the scones go very damp after a day? I don't mind, but wondered if it was just the way I was making them.

OrmIrian · 25/06/2007 13:58

Bad weekend (only food wise). Don't ask 'cos I'm not telling

But it involved marshmallows. Amongst other things.

I did run lot and lots though on the plus side.

Hello kamikazi ! I meant to guide you here last week from the Atkins thread but forgot. But you found us anyway.

Crotchety · 25/06/2007 15:06

Think I was waiting at the wrong bus stop for the wagon this morning as have accidentally had some chocolate cake. Maybe I'll get back on tomorrow...
