What is your 'happy' weight?

However you lose it/maintain it, at what weight are you happiest/looking and feeling your best? I'm 5 ft 5 and feel best at about 9 stone 4. I'm currently 9 stone 8 though.

Currently 10.5 stones. Need to lose at least half a stone to feel better. Would feel great at 9'7. Need to lose it now as it's so hard come January.

5'5 like lots of people on this thread.

Lost 2 and a half stone of baby weight since January. It's a bastard to lose.

wineandworkout · 13/11/2017 16:15

This is super interesting! I'm 5'9" and from adolescence to about 5 years ago I always seemed to come back to 9 stone 4lbs. Then put on weight when I stopped bf'ing and didn't care that much because I'm now over 40 and my old 'happy weight' is too little because it makes me look scrawny. I'm yet to work out my new happy weight. I didn't weigh myself for years until the summer, when I found I was about 11 and a half stone. I'm now down to around 10 stone 9 ... I'd like to be a little less because my belly is flabbier than I'd like, but I suspect I can either have a flat belly or nice boobs, but not both 😂

BrioAmio · 13/11/2017 16:16

I’m 5ft8 and 11 stone 3, but I am 9 months pregnant. I was 8 stone 7 lbs when I got pregnant. Going back to around 9 stone again would be good.

TieGrr · 13/11/2017 16:20

5'6" and anything above 10 stone is unhappy weight. I'm comfortable at 10 stone, but would love to get down to 9 again.

daydreamnation · 13/11/2017 16:21

I'm 5ft 3. I weigh 8st 9, my happy weight is about 8st 6 I think I look great just a few pounds lighter than I naturally am and have such a tiny frame means just a teeny gain makes me feel different!

Winealot · 13/11/2017 18:37

5ft 3 - feel ok at around 8st 12- 9st but would feel better a bit lower. Nearer to 9st 7 at the moment and I feel awful! Bra tight, clothes uncomfortable and nothing looks right 🙄.
Have decided I absolutely have to get a few pounds off before Christmas otherwise it’s not going to be pretty come January!

Turquoisetamborine · 13/11/2017 18:43

I’m 5ft 6 and currently weigh 11st 7. I’m happy at 10 stones. Just don’t seem to be getting there.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 13/11/2017 19:37

Also 5.6 and aiming for 10stone although I haven’t been that for at least 10 years. To be fair I would be reasonably happy at anything under 11. That gets me into a size 10 fairly comfortably.

Currently 12.4 and a 10-12 on top, 12-14 on bottom. I’ve lost 12lbs in 5 weeks on LCHF Bootcamp.

Panicattheschoolgate · 13/11/2017 19:45

5 ‘6 My happy is 7 stone 10.

Shiela2017 · 13/11/2017 19:46

5"4 amd my happy weight is 8 stone 7

Shiela2017 · 13/11/2017 19:48

Panicattheschoolgate that gives you a bmi of 17.4 which is underweight

ReggaetonLente · 13/11/2017 19:48

5'10" and 11 stone. That's how much I weigh when I exercise regularly, eat healthily, but still enjoy life and don't deny myself anything.

millifiori · 13/11/2017 19:53

I feel like 'me' at 9 st 4. I'm 5 ft 4 but quite muscly so look scrawny at anything under that.

But I am way, way above that weight right now. I'd currently be happy at anything under 10 stone.

Merida83 · 13/11/2017 19:57

I'm 5'2 And don't think I've ever been down to a proper happy healthy weight if I'm to be honest.

Panicattheschoolgate · 13/11/2017 20:00

Shiela2017
I’m not that weigh now but I am happiest when that thin. don’t know how much I weigh now.

Strokethefurrywall · 13/11/2017 20:02

5ft 8" and about 125lbs which is my best weight (8st 9lbs?). But I'm happy with anything up to 135lbs.
Have spent a lot of time at 140lbs in the past but am keeping it under 130lbs now.

killerwhale · 13/11/2017 20:04

5’6 Happiest at 9 stone or under, tend to hand around 9’4 or 5 though

Xoticdreamz · 13/11/2017 20:04

I'm 5ft 2. My happy happy weight is 7 stone 12 but I'm fine with anything 8 stone 4 and under. I was 10 stone 1 in April .. had crept up over the last few years and I was absolutely ecstatic that I managed to get back to what I felt good at.

BlackPeppercorn · 13/11/2017 20:04

I'm 5'4" and happiest at 10st. That sounds a lot and it does leave me a bit 'chunky'.

But I have a 40in bust which never changes, no matter how much weight I lose. It seems less noticeable at 10st. I've had this bust since I was 13 and it brought so much attention from men, shouting from building sites and from vans, lewd remarks, etc, that I now have quite a complex and don't want them noticed.

(No, I don't want counselling, I have a good sex life with my DH who thinks I'm lovely - but suggestions for good tunic tops always gratefully received. No, I don't want to wear empire line dresses, I hate them.)
Isn't it funny, the hang-ups we have.

TheNoseyProject · 13/11/2017 20:06

I’m 5’5” and my happy weight is 9st 8lbs - 10 st 4 lbs. currently 11st but on my way down. My happy weight looks heavy compared to many on here but my family are what my mum calls ‘densely packed’ ie we always weigh more than we look. I’m pretty strong-ish so maybe I have more muscle?

I’ve never been under around 9.5 stone in my whole adult life so I sincerely doubt I’ll suddenly drop below that after having 2 kids! The measuring machines always say my ideal weight is 9.5 stone but I think that’s a little low for me.

My kids are the same, slim but muscly and really heavy!

Greenteandchives · 13/11/2017 20:09

5'3" and my happy weight is where I am right now at 9 stones.
Thank you Slimming World. 😀.

Wishingandwaiting · 13/11/2017 20:11

5’7 and I’m 7 stone 10.
I suppose 8 would be ideal but even though underweight according to the charts, I don’t look emaciated! Just very slim.

Ttbb · 13/11/2017 20:11

5'10 happy weight is 61 kg

slimyslitheryslug · 13/11/2017 20:17

5'4" here & the weight which makes me happy is 10st but I really struggle to stay below 10st4 unless I exercise 6 days a week and constantly watch what I eat. This year, though, getting below 10st 7 has been a challenge and, each time I take my eye off the call, I'm straight up to 10st 9.

camdentown17 · 13/11/2017 20:41
