Hey, how have you got on this week?
I didn't have a great weekend the weekend before last. BBQ Sunday, out Monday for drinks and dinner and then take away Tuesday! So last Wednesday I decided to try a 7 day diet I'd seen on a thread on MN. It's essentially a crash diet I suppose but a few people on the thread had lost loads so I thought I'd experiment and then report back!
Well it's a tough, tough diet. Around days 5/6 I was insanely hungry. One night I hardly slept I was so starving! The rest of it wasn't too bad though.
Anyway I weighed 171 pounds prior to my biffy weekend so probably was higher when I started (I was too scared to weigh in and check lol!) but at the end of the 7 days I'm down to 166, so that's 5lbs down (at least!).
Now I'm not getting too excited as I know some of that will be just down to essentially weighing in light similar to weighing in after a 500 day but I'm going to be good all week and see where I am in a week. If I can maintain the loss then I'll consider it a success! I might even do it again in a few weeks if it stays off.
My dh did it too but had two days where he cheated as he was away and he still lost six pounds. To be honest, I couldn't have done it unless he did it with me. The temptation of seeing him eat decent food would have weakened my resolve!

Not saying you should try it btw, just reporting back! Plus I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it until I am reassured the weight loss can be maintained a week later!
