Hi, I'm 5'3 , 37, small at the top and big bottom half...And I weigh 64.3kg.. About 10 stone... Had a MC in December and I had put on 5 kg already ....I just can't seem to lose it...I'm good for a few days then cave saying 'oh one ice cream won't hurt as I've had a good few days'..
I know I'm only cheating myself but arrrgh I can't seem to find that kick up the **m! I'm trying the 8 hr diet and I may mix it with the no S diet... Feeling desperate. I don't want to meet with people because I feel so crap.... I have a big family do in august which I'm dreading and I'm not looking forward to the sunny weather and family holiday in the summer. Feel so disgusting, I don't fit into my clothes, had to buy next size up in trousers. Would really like a friend to share this journey, help each other stay motivated or something? 😐 I'm looking to lose 6kg... About a stone. Doesn't sound a lot but I've never lost more than 2lbs in one week, my body just finds it hard to shift. 😥

Wow! 3 pounds! That's amazing! Well done! I think you're on a roll now - 5lbs down in the last 2 weeks is great!

My jeans are loose on me but I don't want to buy new ones until I reach my goal. I have about £200 in shop vouchers that I've been saving for new clothes. Can't wait to spend them!!! Just got to keep at it!!

Cool lucky you, I'd love a shopping spree! Had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday... Dc school fete, ended up having a vegetable samosa and a hot dog, cake... About 35 syns in total!! Confusedouch . So was attempting a 500 day today but tummy a bit queasy. Had yogurt for breakfast with raspberries and grapes. 2 soft boiled eggs with spinach for lunch and a banana, mini babybel.. about 350 calories so far. Unlikely I'll stick to 500... This week looks tricky too, out twice with friends for dinner, family up tomorrow... So I'm not sure when to squeeze 500 days. I may just do SW and strict with it. Feel like not doing 500 though is a step back... Totally see your point of view more from last week. Hopefully will still get a loss next week. Hmm

I had a Thai take away Friday night. I'd barely eaten in the day and felt I deserved a reward for losing 2 pounds lol! Then yesterday my friend was really down so we went for lunch and I wasn't good lol! Definitely back on track tomorrow. Hope the weekend hasn't undone any of my hard work!

How's today gone? I'm sure your weekends won't affect your weigh in this week. I tried a 500 day today.... But have gone over... 700 🙁 urghh it was super hard today. Still hungry but will fill up with tea now.. roll on tomorrow!

I've been good today. Not a 500 day but low. I had edamame beans at lunch from a sushi place, an apple, some raspberries and dinner was salmon and asparagus. Oh and I've had a packet of Pom bears lol! Also had a couple of coffees.

Just going to eat low but not do the 500 days this week. Will see if I can lose again, fingers crossed. I was buzzing from losing 2lbs!

Some 500 days are harder than others. Sounds like you've done well even if you are slightly over. Have you got any fizzy water? That helps me when I'm hungry!

That sounds like a great day! Woop! Having added everything up yesterday I was close to 700 😠 attempted slimming world pancakes.I've gone wrong somewhere, they were very grainy and burnt easily... Tasted ok bit I've made better years ago... Maybe I have to put it in a blender to mix. heb gone for today 😳

Hope I haven't killed my progress today... Had a 500 day yesterday but today knew I was out for a dirty pub b dinner... Had no breakfast, banana for lunch and then 3 sausages, 2 eggs, chips and a panacotta slice with a scoop of ice cream for dinner like 1000 syns... Hopefully it'll be about 1450 in total but probably moreConfused how's your week going?

I weighed in today and only lost half a pound Sad. To be fair I had a Thai take away Friday night, lunch out and drinks Saturday and then a big lasagne on Sunday so I've only been 'good' 4 days this week. I think for me, I need to be good all week so I'm going to be on my best behaviour this weekend!

Hope you weigh in goes well. If you don't lose, don't get disheartened, you've had a great two weeks prior!

Weighed myself again today and I'm another half pound down so I think I've lost a pound this week after all.

Having a pub dinner tonight but other than that I'm going to be good as I want to drop two pounds this coming week.

Urrrgh I've had an awful food long weekend.... Out Thursday as said... Then it went properly down hill, both dc away for the weekend so didn't follow a thing... Crisps, chocolate, pizza hut, ice cream, cocktails and so much Just terrible. I weighed myself Thursday morning, again it was after a 500 day so I'm sure that's lighter than normal. Id gone down 100g, basically stayed the same but have v weighed since my food binge and an awful gain understandably...62.7kg!! Not my starting weight luckily but up nonetheless. I'm kick starting this week with a 500 day... Going to be hard but I'm annoyed with myself.

Don't be too hard on yourself, easily done! A lot of the gain will be water retention so don't panic!

I had a pub dinner (burger) and then ice cream on Saturday along with wine. I managed to be fairly good yesterday though but it was hard! Really wanted another burger lol!!

Thanks! I've had 140 calories so far but I have really bad tummy cramps... Have you ever had that on the 500? Is there any way to ease it? Sounds like you had just one day off, I'm sure that will be redeemable 😁hope my 4 day binge amounts to water only but I'm not so sure 😥 hope tummy pain goes.

Sometimes I've had a bit of stomach ache from hunger, I especially get it if I do a 500 day after over indulging. Wonder if it's hunger? Or does it feel definitely different? Not sure what to suggest, perhaps try and eat some fruit or something low calorie and see if you feel any better?

I think it was definitely hunger pains... I had a little to eat and it helped. Back n onto a normal SW day thank God.... So a lot easier today. 😁

Urrgh stuck to slimming w today but maxed syns and feel really full and bloated today urgh. 500 day tomorrow, bring it on.... Grin what sort of things/meals do you do on a 500 day?

Ah well done. I've had two weird days. On Tuesday I had a slice of chocolate fudge cake but then felt really bad so didn't really eat dinner and just had salad and then yesterday someone at work bought me a chocolate chip muffin and I did the same thing, ate it and then had salad for dinner lol! In theory the low calorie dinner cancels out the calories of the cake / muffin but it's not exactly healthy eating lol!

On 500 days I usually have a slice of brown toast and a pot of baked beans. Comes to 300 cal. A fried egg on toast is another option. I use the 1 cal frying spray.

Going to avoid cake today lol! Going to have salmon and salad for dinner and fruit for lunch so today will probably be a 500 day.

Ah I'm sure the low cal cancelled out the cake. I love cakes!!!Grin for the 500 day do you have breakfast and lunch? If so what kinds of things? X

I don't have breakfast, usually I'll have a large coffee to keep me going and then around lunch time have some fruit. I usually try and just have one apple during the day so that I can have another after dinner. Two apples, milk from a few coffees and the beans on toast usually come to around 500.

I eat dinner as soon as I get in from work so usually about sixish and then I have an apple before bed so I'm not too hungry going to bed.

Bah so depressed! Weight had stayed the same his week. I really had tried to be good too! I'm going back to my 500 days as at least that always gave me a loss. It's dh's bday Monday so out for dinner but apart from that I'm determined to have a loss next week. I might leave my weigh in until a week Monday to keep me on track next weekend too.

How did you get on?

I had gone up after my crazy 4 day binge, but went down a pound so I'm actually about half a pound above my lowest weigh in so I'm happy with that ... I'm on a 500 day today. Back to work today after half term ...A bit more routine again. However, out for dinner Friday night 😳 didn't do much exercise last week, need to get moving b this week but af is due too 😐 could really eat some toast right now😝

Rubbish day yesterday. School trip so had an ok packed lunch but got home starving and dh bought mcds and I had snacks argh! 500 day today... Tomorrow's night out for dinner for friends 50th... Saturday friends round for dinner.. I'm just hoping by end of next week for a maintain. Don't v think I can pull off a loss. Will try to remain under 1450 calories. Confused

Ah tough week. I think aiming for maintaining is a good shout. I'm trying to be extra good. Not going to weigh in until after the weekend to keep me on track!

I've got no social engagements until lunch with friends next Thursday so hoping I can pull off a loss!

Hey, how have you got on this week?

I didn't have a great weekend the weekend before last. BBQ Sunday, out Monday for drinks and dinner and then take away Tuesday! So last Wednesday I decided to try a 7 day diet I'd seen on a thread on MN. It's essentially a crash diet I suppose but a few people on the thread had lost loads so I thought I'd experiment and then report back!

Well it's a tough, tough diet. Around days 5/6 I was insanely hungry. One night I hardly slept I was so starving! The rest of it wasn't too bad though.

Anyway I weighed 171 pounds prior to my biffy weekend so probably was higher when I started (I was too scared to weigh in and check lol!) but at the end of the 7 days I'm down to 166, so that's 5lbs down (at least!).

Now I'm not getting too excited as I know some of that will be just down to essentially weighing in light similar to weighing in after a 500 day but I'm going to be good all week and see where I am in a week. If I can maintain the loss then I'll consider it a success! I might even do it again in a few weeks if it stays off.

My dh did it too but had two days where he cheated as he was away and he still lost six pounds. To be honest, I couldn't have done it unless he did it with me. The temptation of seeing him eat decent food would have weakened my resolve!

This is the diet. Its really interesting reading the comments, some people have lost crazy amounts!

Not saying you should try it btw, just reporting back! Plus I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it until I am reassured the weight loss can be maintained a week later!

Hiya, I've been doing well. 😁have the odd hiccup at weekend and Friday nights... Need to break that pattern. Sticking to 500 days but they're more like 600 days bit doesn't seem to make a bad impact. Considering all the meals out I'm now 61.9kg... So back on track. SW is doable too so I'm just going to keep going with it all. That diet looks interesting, I'd probably try it if this way stops working for a kick start. Sounds really hard! A few of last year's summer clothes for nicely now so feeling positive. Just need to up my exercise...Been quite Lazy. I'm out all day tomorrow helping with daughters cubs. So crappy food and Sunday father's day... Treats... 500 Day Mondays and Thursdays... 😁how's it gone this week?
