Hi, I'm 5'3 , 37, small at the top and big bottom half...And I weigh 64.3kg.. About 10 stone... Had a MC in December and I had put on 5 kg already ....I just can't seem to lose it...I'm good for a few days then cave saying 'oh one ice cream won't hurt as I've had a good few days'..
I know I'm only cheating myself but arrrgh I can't seem to find that kick up the **m! I'm trying the 8 hr diet and I may mix it with the no S diet... Feeling desperate. I don't want to meet with people because I feel so crap.... I have a big family do in august which I'm dreading and I'm not looking forward to the sunny weather and family holiday in the summer. Feel so disgusting, I don't fit into my clothes, had to buy next size up in trousers. Would really like a friend to share this journey, help each other stay motivated or something? 😐 I'm looking to lose 6kg... About a stone. Doesn't sound a lot but I've never lost more than 2lbs in one week, my body just finds it hard to shift. 😥

Well done!! That's brilliant. 😁 I'm not doing too great. Although not terribly. I've started the Paul McKenna CD now and it's really helped so far. I'm fat more conscious of what I'm eating and enjoying it, taking my time so it fills me up better. Eating when I'm hungry and trying to be more aware of my natural hunger levels... So it's good but have lapsed twice....Lindt chocolate bunny died. Confused

2 more pounds down! Yay! The two toffee crisps I ate didn't do too much damage! Grin Definitely the motivation I need to keep going. I'm the weight I wanted to be for my wedding anniversary and that's still a week away so hopefully I can lose another couple of pounds before then.

Hope things are going well for you!

Hulaballoo · 20/04/2017 22:25

Not doing great, weigh in tomorrow but not hopeful 🙁 just don't feel n in the right frame of mind at the moment.. grrr

Sorry forgot to say a massive well done though!!' sorry!!

Aria2015 · 20/04/2017 23:03

Yeah I know what you mean. I have to get in the 'zone' to make progress and that pretty much involves switching off my social life for a couple of months which is hardly fun!

My 'tipping point' this time was that all my summer clothes are in a draw. Last summer I couldn't fit into most of them but vowed I would this year. Well it's nearly summer and I'm only 10lbs less than I was last summer so I knew I had to lose this last bit of weight if I wanted to be back in my clothes for in time for the sunshine.

I'm hoping I can keep going. Today's been a slog because my period has started and I caved and ate los chocolate duck he was given for Easter lol! I don't usually care much about chocolate but when I have my period...

Good luck for your weigh in tomorrow!

Hulaballoo · 22/04/2017 22:58

Thanks well stayed the same 😐pants..I had my period last week... Indulged in chocolate a few times. 😥 just finishing period now, stay afresh with more routines on Monday.? Kids back at school, back to work etc... Get momentum of exercises back. 😁 how's your weekends going?

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 23/04/2017 13:44

Well staying the same is better than a gain! Like you said, easier to get in a routine once things are back to normal. I'm sure you'll nail it this week!

Weekend is going well. No cheating yet but having a big dinner at inlaws later so that will be a test! Not drinking does help, I usually have a few glasses of wine at their house and then stuff my face lol!

I'm hoping my period won't affect my weigh in on Thursday as it should have finished by then. We'll see...

Hulaballoo · 23/04/2017 23:17

Hopefully it won't affect the scales but if it does, you'll know it's that 😁 Right tomorrow I'm going for it long term... Mum in laws 70th in august, I don't want to get the pity looks when you've put weight on her so here's my plan: Eating healthily, no sweet sugary foods until the weekend, eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm just full, eating slower and enjoying my food...If I'm hungry, drink and then if definitely hungry, snack on fruit or vegetable... Will try not to snack though And of course exercise...Aiming for 10,000 steps daily and if possible 30 minutes jog or 30 day shred 3x week....I think that's it. Combining a bit of no S diet with Paul McKennas.... Will also try and make a vision board 😁 I may bore you with my menus or progress as I go, feel free to do the same if you wish, just helps me jot it down 🙂hope that's ok? X

FFSenoughofthis hi ya, sorry for stupidly later result. More than welcome to join, you're doing super well... I'm in it this week, need to get my head in the game. Saw a photo of myself taken today.
Urghh not nice... Motivated.

Aria2015 · 24/04/2017 12:01

Sounds good! Let me know how you get on. I'm not that good at the exercise bit so I'm just going to do the healthy eating. I do about 8000 steps a day walking to and from work and with lo so that'll have to be my exercise!

Hulaballoo · 24/04/2017 16:28

Hi 8000 is really good daily 😁 well so far doing well... Porridge with skimmed milk, Raspberries and blueberries for breakfast, refrained from biscuits in the staff room, lunch I had a small jacket potato with lettuce, cucumber, peppers, sprinkling of low v fat greater cheese, balsamic vinegar/to Olive oil... Had a packet of skips and an apple... Do feel peckish now though, trying to do something else.SW syns so far about 6, but no snacking and only eating when hungry so all good. I did Davinas for in 15, 15 mins of cardio before lunch. Only 6343 steps so far... Will walk later if I haven't reached 10k by 7... Hungry now but am out waiting for dc to finish their gymnastics activity 😁 forgot to bring fruit

OP posts:
Hulaballoo · 26/04/2017 08:18

Didn't do very well yesterday 😐 porridge breakfast, beans on one slice of toast with fried egg (fry light), 2 apples, banana, then went on a 2 mile walk, then went all wrong- naughty fish and chips from chippy (shared a portion with hubby), then mini cadburys cream eggs(3) ...2 fruit shortcake biscuits. 😥back on track again, bean flashes this morning, lunch at work today-over made a salad to take in...

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 26/04/2017 08:40

Ah well onwards and upwards! Need some treats to keep us going! Sounds like you are off to a good start today and you did go for a walk so that surely cancels any cheating out!?

I ate 2 two finger kit Kats yesterday lol! I had visitors so got some in but two were left over and it seemed rude not to lol! On a 500 day today, just having my first coffee now! Confused

Hulaballoo · 26/04/2017 15:24

I don't know how you do it ... I started well again, had salad, banana, skips crisps then staff room was littered with chocolate digestives...grrr had 2 😥 feeling crap now. Did Davina15 mins of arm/weights when I got home
Feeling really bloated today too. My pouch is huge today... Boo. I bought some petite cropped jeans size 12 as most of my big jeans are 12.. which fit.The petite ones don't. I thought they were just meant to be shorter in the leg etc.. Are they smaller in size too?Confusedthey wouldn't even do up but my other jeans are fine, both from next.

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 26/04/2017 15:57

Ah office nibbles! Fatal! Well done on doing some exercise though!

I've only had 4 coffees and an apple and I'm starving lol! I'm having my hair cut after work too so won't have my dinner until gone 6pm. I'll be glad though as it will mean I won't be too hungry when I go to bed.

Hmmm not sure about the jeans. I would imagine if they are petite that they are probably shorter in the crotch and so sit lower on your hips so that could be why they don't do up. I think petite ranges are shorter in the body as well as the leg because tall jeans are longer in body and leg length so don't lose heart!

Aria2015 · 28/04/2017 07:59

Down 1.5 pounds this week. I am pleased. I'm a tad disappointed as the other two weeks I'd lost 2 pounds. Dh said weight lose slows down so maybe that why? Anyway today is my wedding anniversary and I'm having a complete cheat day and evening! Meal out and cocktails! Going to really enjoy it as I've been so good and haven't drunk for a month. Will take a lot of will power to get back on it tomorrow so I will need encouragement!

Seeing a difference though, 7lbs down this month and I can feel it. 12 more to go!

Hope your day and weekend go well!

Hulaballoo · 29/04/2017 09:54

Hiya, 7 pounds this month is amazing!!! 😁 well done!! I forgot to weigh myself this morning so will do in tomorrow. Eating wise not great this week but I jogged for 25 mins, did a 2 mile hike, did Davina fit in 15 twice, (muscles aching now though) and most days 10k steps so feel happier. Kicked myself in the butt last night, got all my slimming world stuff out. I had lost 4 stones after having had DD2 with slimming world... So it worked. Starting again today. Just don't have all the syns stuff for new branded products but will manage with Google hopefully. So far, black coffee, yogurt and fruit for breakfast lol 😁

Hulaballoo · 29/04/2017 22:11

Rest had been free and super free...Smilebit peckish but not sure if I can snack still...hmm

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 30/04/2017 13:24

Well done! Sounds like you had a good day. I was good yesterday but I did have an ice cream. Could have been a lot worse though as I was hung over!

Doing a 500 day today to get back on track. So hard to do on a weekend!

I'm in my danger zone - I've had really good months before and then given up so got to be strict this week so I stick with it!

Aria2015 · 05/05/2017 19:56

No weight loss this week but no gain either. I did my two 500 days but I also had a take away and champagne in the week as dh got a new job. I'm just off for a walk now to try and get back on track. Still want to lose 6lbs this month so going to add an hours walking to my day.

How have you got on this week?

Hulaballoo · 06/05/2017 07:47

Hi ya, I'm gutted this week 🙁I'm just not losing. Stuck to plan 100% not as much exercise this week, even recorded calories on my fitbit and always under 1450... I've eaten a small salad with every meal and lunches were normally just salad with a small plain jacket. I'm yo-yo ing between 63.9 and 64.1 kg Today I was 64.1... I don't know what's going wrong. 😥 Feeling crap. I need to lose a stone by end of august, thought it would be achievable but no loses is ridiculous constantly😳 I haven't been to the loo today...Maybe thatll get me to 63.9 lol argh so annoyed.

OP posts:
Hulaballoo · 06/05/2017 08:02

Lol went to the loo sorry tmi...63.8 lol...bah

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 06/05/2017 10:48

Ah sorry to hear that. Must be super frustrating Sad. Would you confer trying to 5:2? Just got a week to see if it kicks starts anything? It is tough but it does get easier. I find that restricting two days a week helps me the rest of the days too because I don't want to undo my good work lol!

Not sure what else to suggest. Unless you drop lower? But 1400 is pretty low already. I think the most they say to drop is 1200 so don't go crazy if you do reduce!

Hulaballoo · 06/05/2017 15:26

I think id get too grumpy on lower...lol I will try 5:2. Need to mentally prepare Grinwhen do you find the best days are to do 500 days... When I calculated it said I needed liked 423 rather than 500 Shockso I'm not sure there 500 would work...

OP posts:
Hulaballoo · 06/05/2017 15:43

So two days 500 and rest of the week 1400?
