Hi, I'm 5'3 , 37, small at the top and big bottom half...And I weigh 64.3kg.. About 10 stone... Had a MC in December and I had put on 5 kg already ....I just can't seem to lose it...I'm good for a few days then cave saying 'oh one ice cream won't hurt as I've had a good few days'..
I know I'm only cheating myself but arrrgh I can't seem to find that kick up the **m! I'm trying the 8 hr diet and I may mix it with the no S diet... Feeling desperate. I don't want to meet with people because I feel so crap.... I have a big family do in august which I'm dreading and I'm not looking forward to the sunny weather and family holiday in the summer. Feel so disgusting, I don't fit into my clothes, had to buy next size up in trousers. Would really like a friend to share this journey, help each other stay motivated or something? 😐 I'm looking to lose 6kg... About a stone. Doesn't sound a lot but I've never lost more than 2lbs in one week, my body just finds it hard to shift. 😥

Well you could try 500 and see. I find the best days are when I'm at work (I work 3 days a week) so I am distracted all day and not feeding lo so away from temptation! I tend to just have coffee and maybe an apple and then have most of my 500 in the evening. I try to hold out as long as possible and then have a pot of beans on a slice of toast. I find that I don't got to bed too hungry then. I follow slimming world the rest of the days.

Ok I can try that this week...I work part time so am joined sooner in there afternoons until school pick up apart from Wednesdays when I have lunch in there staff room so may be too hard on that day... I'll try on a Thursday and a Monday 😁 so will see how it goes tomorrow 😳eek

Do coffee and tea count?
I've had one coffee... About to have another. Nothing for breakfast. Lunch I'm having 300g of covent garden carrot and coriander soup (105 calories) not sure what I'll have for dinner... Get hungry art about 4 shop may snack later on an apple...eek

Just the calories in the milk from tea and coffee. I'm doing it too - I've had a huge coffee and an apple so far. Going to have a pot of baked beans on a slice of toast for dinner. Can't wait lol!

Well done for giving it a bash - it's hard but does feel good afterwards and I find I'm more careful the next day too which is a bonus!

Woop well done. 🙂 When are you doing your next 500? I've had a large white pitta bread stuffed with salad, salt and vinegar for dinner and pinched a handful of chip shop chips
..Dh and dd2 had take away ... No more for me now... One more coffee ... Tbh I am starving. 🙁

Well done! I'll do my next one on Wednesday. The first one is the hardest. I think I ended up doing around 600 the first time but now I think I manage 500. Today's actually been a tough day, not sure why. I was going to go for a walk but I think I'll have an early night instead!!!

Drinking lots of fizzy water gets me through too!

Fizzy water good idea, will need to buy some. I think I did go over 500... Had 2 cups of tea with milk... I do only use skimmed milk so I think I'm at 550 ... But I've done 9000 steps .

Hopefully cancels a little out 😐

A good day so far... Missed breakfast too much of a rush out this morningConfusedsalad and a small jacket with tuna, no margarine, just balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of low fat grated cheese followed by a fat free yogurt.... Had an apple, banana, mini babybel light as snacks ... Going to b have egg/ spinach on toast with some salad for dins in a mo. Feeling good as over only had about 2 syns so can have a treat later 😁

Well done! Sounds like you are on a roll! I've had a good day too. Slice of toast for breakfast, baked beans for lunch and steak with veg for dinner. I've also done a Whooping 15,000 steps and my watch says I've burnt 700 calories walking today. Hope that's true!

500 day tomorrow Confusedbut at least it's my last one of the week! Are you going to go again tomorrow?

Heya, yes on a roll woop. I had a freddo as a treat and almost found it too sweet. I was going to do 500 day timeless but remembered out for dinner tonight and tomorrow eek. So it'll have to be Friday. I'm out at Frankie and Benny's tonight... Planning on having the grilled salmon and veg no butter...Or steak with jacket and salad no dressing... Not having any syns or hex just in case I need them tonight. 😳 good luck on your 500 day. 14000 steps!!! Where that's brilliant!!! I need to step up my steps Wink

Lost a pound this week. I'm pleased with that as I had a blow out weekend and so was only 'good' Monday - Thursday this week. Going to be good all of this weekend though as really need to lose at least 1.5 pounds per week to get to my goal in time.

Really don't want this to drag on longer than it has to. I'm good at maintaining (accept at Christmas!) so looking forward to eating healthily in the week and being able to relax a bit at weekend again.

I'm 8lbs away from my first goal (I'll have lost 50lbs then) and then only want to lose 3 more pounds to reach my 'happy' weight.

How have you been getting on?

That's amazing!! 😁 well done. You're only 4 pounds away. 😁 well done!! I've been pretty good, despite going out for dinner twice. Both times I chose oven baked salmon with veg 😁 saved my syns those days for any butter used in cooking. Had one scoop of ice cream as desert when out but still within syns. 😁 feeling chuffed. I'm on my second 500 day today. Period arrived last night urgj, weighed this morning and am 1.5 pounds down yay!!! Really pleased with that as it's been a struggle for the scales to move at all. Had 3 coffees with splash of skimmed milk. Saving rest of calories for dinner with the family... Hoping next week I'll lose again. Still about 10 pounds away from goal.

Well done! You've had a great week! 500 days suck but seem to get results.

Wish I could fast forward a month! Getting days now where I feel down for restricting myself all the time but then I am noticing a difference with the weight I've lost so got to keep going!

Hopefully not long until we reach our goals!!

Ah try not to panic! It's just a day and you can't stack on any great amount of weight on a day. You've got the rest of the week to be good. I'm the same with my period - only time I ever crave chocolate!

I've had a weird weekend. I started having nutribullets again. Yesterday I had two and then a dinner of salmon and asparagus. Very healthy but I was starving. Dh was out last night, rolled in at 2am drunk but with chips! He was too drunk to eat them and I caved and ate half! I was so hungry lol!

Then today started bad, I had a strawberry tart but then I've had a nutribullet and then beans on toast.

The last nutribullet though has made me feel soooo sick! Just thinking about it is making me queasy! Confused Not sure what it was but it's put me off for tomorrow lol!

Oh no maybe you're slightly allergic? Tbh I have no idea what a nutribullet is 😳 well tomorrow we can start afresh... Your chips were a smaller blip than mine 😁 back on tomorrow, I think today I needed up with breakfast... Did didn't want 2 of her lovely and warm mini part baked baguettes..I had 1 and a half... Then checked syns... Total of 6.5 each! So by 10 I'd had 10 syns then starving at lunch... And it went downhill... Hope you're feeling a bit better by tomorrow. Xx

Hope you're feeling a bit better? I've managed my 500 day, although it prob was more 520... But I walked for 34 mins on the treadmill... Have a horrible cold and a cold sore 🤧 urgj but feeling good I did another 500 day after yesterday's lapse.

I didn't do my 500 day yesterday. I had forgotten that I'd scheduled lunch with a friend. We'd cancelled and rearranged about 5 times so didn't want to cancel on account of my diet! I was goodish though, I had ramen soup but then I had frozen yogurt! I only had a slice of toast and beans for dinner though so hopefully overall it wasn't too bad.

Going to try to do a 500 day today but it'll be tough as I'm not in work today. Doing them in work is much easier!

How did your 500 day go? I'm on my 2nd one for this week. Persevering but finding it hard today... Living in coffee and diet soft drinks... Have had a few grapes and raspberries... Waiting for a bigger meal at dinner... Not long now but it's been tough.

Well done! Some days are easier than others. Hopefully you'll see good results. I haven't actually done a 500 day this week. I was thrown out of whack meeting my friend for lunch on Monday. I have been super strict though and I'm hoping I'll still lose. I'm in two minds to weigh in tomorrow though as it period arrived today. I'm afraid if I don't show a loss I'll biff at the weekend! I've been so good that I want to keep it up! What to do!? What to do!?

Argh tricky one, well done though with sticking with slimming world though still good and I'm sure you'll have some result even staying the same will be good when it's that time of the month... I'm so hungry right now though, going to have a cup of tea. Personally I'd weigh in... I doubt it will be up, if it is, it's down to water and your cycle... Slimming world should be working without 5:2 anywaysSmile I'm weighing in tomorrow. Feel a bit lighter... Fingers crossed

Yay! 2 pounds down this week! My heart was actually pumping getting on the scale because I hadn't done my 500 days. Might try another week if this is the result!

Lost 3 pounds this week!! 😮I never lose that much! May have crumpled that today, had a class party so I had a mini bag of popcorn (4 syns) and some tangfastics but need to search Google for syns 😐 plus I did my 500 yesterday so maybe extra light because of yesterday? Was 63.2 and now 61.9kg 😁 determined to keep at it now. 500 days are hard but will keep trying... It does help me feel not as hungry the other days. Going to try and walk a bit more this week... At least to aim for 9000 steps a day-not b always doing that. Well done on your 2pound loss though, brilliant!!!! Nothing to be nervous about ...SW works on its own 👍😁
