I'm starting out again on Friday. A bit to lose, my aim is to be where I was 2 years ago. Will be low carbing as I find it works best for me

Anyone else joining?

I will weigh/measure on the first morning

God damn period. I'm starving today!

Superjaggy · 04/07/2016 19:05

Hello all,
I weighed myself this morning, 11st1 which is 2lbs down from the last time I weighed... Did day 1 of the chemical diet (toast and grilled tomatoes for bf, fruit for lunch, boiled egg salad for dinner) and I feel positive, if a little hungry... Will have a hot bath and an early night to combat the snack cravings this evening!

Groovee · 04/07/2016 19:58

Well done to those who have lost weight.

I'm on 1810 calories a day and struggling to get to 1200 as I feel full on my low calorie meals.

chuchiface · 04/07/2016 20:36

Managed to stay on track on friday and saturday but yesterday... anyhow today I ran 5K and stayed under 1500 for calories so back on it! I'm trying to think of this as being a way of life so can have a day off now and then and it's not a disaster :D

Groovee · 05/07/2016 12:52

Well done Chu, we're allowed a day off x

Rshard · 05/07/2016 13:18

It's def a new way of life. That's how I'm trying to approach it anyway. Have done day 1 of 30 minute shred today. Adding some toning (hopefully) to the running.

Hope everyone's having a good day

MegBusset · 05/07/2016 13:40

9st 4lb today, miraculously as I did have some Wine last night (oops)

Tea tonight will be BGTY fish pie with loads of veg.

Groovee · 06/07/2016 11:58

Lost 5lb this first week. Very happy with that. BMI was 44. Now 42.2.

Mini target 40.

We're going on holiday on Friday. Not going to deprive myself but will try to make good choices.

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 06/07/2016 13:27

Yay! Well done everyone

I've not weighed yet, but work clothes feeling a little looser in the waist!

Making big effort to drink more water

Helloheyhi · 06/07/2016 14:37

Grovee great result for first week! What a great motivation to move forward.
Good job to everyone who had losses as well.
Weight is 69.6kg so heading in the right direction.

Enjoy the beautiful sunshine today everyone Flowers

Superjaggy · 06/07/2016 18:46

Well done those of you who have lost weight already!

I had gin last night which led to eating of olives, onion rings and pretty much anything I could get my hands on... Back on track today though.

Have really cut back on bread and other starchy foods and I'm feeling much less bloated as a result.

Keep up the good work everyone!

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 06/07/2016 20:41

grovee yes well done!!

annawoolfworries · 06/07/2016 20:55

Am I too late to join? Staring a 'cut out the crap' regime tomorrow and could do with the motivation

Rshard · 07/07/2016 13:36

Welcome Anna

Well done to all those who have lost!

I was 2.5 lbs down at my WW weigh in last night so very happy to have got July off to a good start!

Helloheyhi · 07/07/2016 19:39

Welcome Anna, the more the merrier!

Nicely done Rshard, how are you finding WW? I have two stones to lose so been thinking about it.

Went clothes shopping today and I am down a size from 16 to 14 and a tight 12. Can't wait to get back to my pre pregnancy clothes.

Groovee enjoy your holiday and hope you have a wonderful time!

Mum how was your weigh in?

Goodnight all Flowers

Rshard · 07/07/2016 20:21

Hello - WW works for me, 33.5lbs down so far. I lost 60 on it about 8 years ago, it's taking longer this time round!

YorkieDorkie · 07/07/2016 21:22

Hi can I hop on the weight loss train please? I started on Monday and it's basically a "stop making pathetic excuses" mission for me. I've got a stone to lose to make me feel better, 2 stones to lose to look a lot better and about 4 stones to lose to be realistically a thin person!
I'm 5 months post baby and was so fortunate to be lighter after birth than before I got PG! I'm embracing that and finally got my head in the game.

Plan:
Eat half the food I do at the moment. I eat really well, hardly any rubbish but I eat super huge portions so I think it must be calorie/carb control.

chuchiface · 10/07/2016 10:45

Well done to all those who have lost weight this week. I lost a pound but realise it would be much more if I stop drinking so it's time to grin and bear it - goodbye lovely wine we will only meet on a saturday from now on...

Welcome to Yorkie and you are doing well already being lighter than prepregnancy just keep going and measuring portions really does shock you sometimes!

Helloheyhi · 10/07/2016 19:27

Great result chuchi
A pound is better than nought!

Weight is now 68.8 kg. I managed to reach my goal of 69kg. I feel well pleased. My next goal is 66.6kg to get to a healthy bmi for my height.

Welcome Yorkie! I am also 5 months pp tomorrow. And I am back to work tomorrow

Great that you are lighter than pre pregnancy, such a big motivation to carry forward!

How's everyone getting on?

Helloheyhi · 10/07/2016 19:33

Rshard you have done before and you can do it again! Slowly is better as less chance of creeping back!

Rshard · 10/07/2016 20:30

Hello - thanks! Yes, slow and steady wins the race!

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 10/07/2016 20:36

Wow you are all doing so well!

I'm not enjoying low carbing this time round. Finding it dull and quite restrictive. Not lost a great deal, 3lbs

Might start adding in a few carbs but cutting back still

OP posts:
YorkieDorkie · 10/07/2016 20:54

Weighed in this morning and have lost 5.5lbs Grin happy!!

Rshard · 11/07/2016 06:41

Mum on the run - 3lbs is great! You can do it!

Yorkiedorkie - woo hoo! That's awesome!

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 11/07/2016 06:48

Back on it today ladies!!

I'm ditching 100% low carb in favour of mfp I think

Not eating loads of carbs tho! Good luck today everyone
