Does anyone want to join me in losing weight for the last time?

About three years ago I weighed 13 stone, and out of nowhere I found the motivation to go down to 9 and a half stone in a year. Since then, it's gone up and down, mostly up and now I'm back up to almost 12 stone.

So I've decided now is the time to find that motivation again and lose all this weight - for the last time. No more putting it back on!

Start Weight: 11st 12lb
Height: 5'2
Goal Weight: 9st 7lb

Does anyone want to join me? I think I'd do so much better if there were a group of us all waiting to hear how the others had done and give each other plenty of support.

I'm tired of being the "big friend" and just want to be comfortable in my own skin. I've got a holiday booked in June that I'd love to be confident enough for to get all my old bikinis back out, so my first little goal is to have lost a good half a stone by then!

Here is some imaginary Cake to bribe you all to come and join me.

Morning anyone/everyone watching!
When I joined this thread I pledged to weigh in on Saturdays so here we go: 10.8.8
So almost 2 pounds above my lowest weight before my illness. On Monday it was 11.0!!! So I'm happy to have shaken off the 5 pound 'gain' this week and get back on it. I'm in the zone food wise mentally and just need to bank some good nights' sleep before feeling like I've energy for the gym again. (4 year old is temperamental about sleeping through the night).
Have a great weekend everyone Smile

This thread is the first weight loss thread I've joined and it's looking like it's dead in the water!

The title is so resonant for me. So here I am plodding along up and down on the scales.
Today was first time back in the gym in 3/4 weeks. Felt out of shape for sure but also felt good again. Would love to be more consistent with food and exercise but life stuff/illness always happens. Still don't want to give up on the thread ie my weight loss journey!Grin

Hello!!

I hadn't even realised that anyone had joined this thread since the very first day, Mumsnet gave me no notifications whatsoever! However, looks like you all got on okay without me!

I've been plodding along by myself (not realising anyone had responded to my thread!) and I've just lost a stone. Hope you're still doing well, applejack18. Are any of you still around? I know I'm disastrously late to my own thread!

Can totally relate!

I've started LighterLife today as they have a 40% off offer, I've heard good things so feeling hopeful to lose this 3 stone!

I really need the counselling side of things as I can never stick to SW or WW.

Has anyone else done LL?
