I have 10 stone to lose overall. There, I said it. No going back now. I miss riding my horse, I miss being happy and I have a toddler that doesn't want a sweaty elephant for a mum.
Anyone want to join me for some moral support?

I would like to lose 4 stone this year. I will still have another 1.5/2 stone to lose after that but I think that will be a big enough challenge for now.
I had planned to start tomorrow but will wait until the 4th when I will get some shopping.

Right, I've just braved the scales. Got 5 stone to lose, I've dusted off the Fitbit and entered my breakfast into the food log- scary 2 slices of toast with butter and honey is 340 calories!!!

Today is not my first weigh in per se, but I did weigh myself today and that was a mistake. Feeling v down and stupid to have allowed myself to get this big. I knew my weight was becoming a problem 3.5 stones ago. I am officially 5.5 stone heavier than I was 4 years ago. Blush And 6.5 stone over my target weight. Shock

Desperately trying not to a) plan a drastic never eat again/vlcd or b) binge like crazy today.

I WILL join WW today. I will lose weight at a rate of 2lb a week and sustain it rather than my usual lose 1 stone in January then put on 1.5 in February...

Not feeling v proud of myself atm.

Bulletpr00f you should be very proud of yourself for facing the problem and doing something about it.

My Fibromyalgia/CFS has been bad since September and I have put on 15lbs (excuses, excuses). I'm really annoyed with myself but what's done is done and so I'm starting today instead of Monday as I had originally planned. New year, new life! The pool at the gym is open today so I'm going for a swim to put me in the right frame of mind.

15 stone and 6 pounds.

It starts today. Want 3 pounds off in the first week. Starting with scrambled egg in the singular on toast in the singular. And off for a walk before holing up in caffe Nero to do some work

underdogsbollocks to be honest I wouldn't really recommend the book as its quite American and some of the targets are a bit naff. The trackers arent really usable unless you want to photocopy pages, maybe on the electronic version you can input in to it direct. I think MFP would be better for tracking.
As for the actual targets, you can follow the other thread to know them. Or I could post them on here or FB if anyone wants them.

Happy new year everyone.
My friend has just woken me up popped round with two weeks worth of exante meal replacement shakes.
I wasn't going to do a vlcd or anything like that but now it's here I will.
I'll start tomorrow and see how effective it is. I don't know much about exante but will see how it goes.
I've also downloaded the C25k app but will probably not start that until after the two weeks of exante is up.

Morning ladies. I've just posted this on the Facebook group but basically I'm currently sitting here at 19.8 stone. Not proud but refusing to hate myself for it because what the fuck is that going to achieve?!

Today will be spent buying new trainers for my c25k plan and making some cookies from the Deliciously Ella book. I calculated the recipe to end up being a 1ww smartpoint per cookie so this should be good.

Can I join in or in it too late. I've about 4.5 stone to lose and want to make a big dent in that before my 50th birthday do this summer. Was low carbing in the first half of last year, but went off the rails in September. It worked though, so I am determined to nail it this year.

whotookallthegoodnicknames Some of the exante stuff is good. I never got on with the shakes but the pasta, pizzas, and soups are ok. The website always has deals on too if you want to continue with it.

I'd like to join too. I don't know how much I want to lose but I know I want to start next week when I get back to my usual routine.

I know I was successful before when I combined watching what I ate with exercise. The exercising I did before work and I found it put me in a really positive frame of mind for the rest the day. When I came back from work I was just too knackered and couldn't be bothered.

One problem that I'm having a hard time getting my head round is how to fit exercise into my morning routine because I now get into work earlier and have less time in a morning.

I do want to lose weight and am looking forward to getting back into some of my pretty clothes- and being ready to wear shorts when summer's here. Smile

Looking forward to reading you all here too.
