Hi,I also want to lose weight. I have been tryig since March but I think the same that wine is my downfall.....

I weigh about 11 stone and I am 5 ft7. Pre preg. I was 9 stone. I would like to weigh about 9.5 stone approx 60 kilos I think. I have never done weight watchers and would like some of the sheets.

Sonnet · 21/05/2004 14:48

breakfast fruit for lunch and then a spud for tea?

watch you dont get peckish at 3 - 4 - have some crackers (plain ) if oyu do

dont starve at lunchtime as you often get starving later and over indulge wehn blood sugar level low

JanZ · 21/05/2004 14:53

Had my lunch and now just have an apple sitting on my desk.

Only exercise yesterday was my 3.1 mile cycle ride into work (and home of course). Today in addtion to my 6.2 miles cycling, I can add a brisk half hour walk at lunch time, as I did a forced march up into town to M&S (resisted buying croissants for tommorow morning! )

Really need to start running again.....

Momof2 · 21/05/2004 14:59

So far today i have had 2 slices of brown toast (from a 400g loaf) with Marmite, pot of low fat cottage cheese with 4 crackerbread, sveltesse yoghurt and half a melon with ginger sprinkled on it.
How good am I?(feeling very vertuous (sp) owing to weight loss)
But tonight I have a football do, so will be piling it all back on with Lager.
Forgot to say earlier - am 5ft 8 and was 11 stone so now am 10 stone 10

JanZ · 21/05/2004 15:19

Tinker · 21/05/2004 19:58

Coddy - I had chips and Cod tonight . Thought about this thread as I shovelled it in.

suzywong · 21/05/2004 19:59

Ionly ate half the potato salad I made and may not have a drink, oh blimey it's hard

Hulababy · 21/05/2004 20:00

LOL Tinker!!!

On Monday I have a prearranged evening out with a friend and she has chosen Pizza Hut. Now how am I supposed to stay healthy there? And don't suggest salad, because is just isn't going to happen is it?! At least I won't be drinking as I have to drive.

At a dinner party tomorrow night too so food again is not in my hands.

suzywong · 21/05/2004 20:21

Help me out here
I need something more tonight, should it be an extra sausage (no tittering) or a small glass or red wine.

I wouldn't dream of troubling anyone else with these mundane self centred questions, you really are special, you lot.

Tinker · 21/05/2004 20:22

both

suzywong · 21/05/2004 20:23

Tinker, you are being subversive aren't you, do you think teh Codmother would give the same reply?

Tinker · 21/05/2004 20:26

The Codmother would ask you to go away my child and reflect upon whether you really need either. The answer is always within you, you just can't hear it sometimes.

suzywong · 21/05/2004 20:27

ho ho - I have decided to dip my sausage in to the wine and thus make both last all evening

almost40 · 21/05/2004 20:30

Can I join in? Suzywong, I think you should have the small glass of red wine, esp since it's Friday. I need desparately to lose 2 st. I seem to be getting bigger and bigger. When I walk, my thighs knock against each other, and my wrists have gotten so big that my watch is giving me a sweat rash. I'm also breastfeeding, and so I'm hungry all the time. What to do???!!!

Coddylicious · 21/05/2004 20:35

aheeeem
the fishy ear s are burning

suzywong · 21/05/2004 20:39

almost40, it would seem the oracle is nigh, and I will have the wine

Coddylicious · 21/05/2004 20:40

suzy I am not sure ia m going to send you to the top of the class....

suzywong · 21/05/2004 20:44

Slight hi-jack,
Coddy , did you ever get to the bottom of your tingling hands and fingers? Mine have started doing it again.
