I very much like the sound of your supper

Tinker · 20/05/2004 19:43

I reckon Coddy has put her stone back on and she's using this as cover to motivate herself to lose it again .

Hulababy · 20/05/2004 19:51

I've just has a rasonably yummy Asda Good for you pizza - chargrilled vegetables. I adore, and miss, pizza so muc so this was a welcome relief. Only 4.5 points for half a pizza

suzywong · 20/05/2004 19:52

OK gang
It will be a good hour before I can cook properly (baby to BF and settle etc) but I am starving
Should I have a) a lump of cheese or b) half a can of tescos vegetable ravioli
Gotta put something in my belly
What would you do?

Tinker · 20/05/2004 19:54

suzywong · 20/05/2004 19:56

glass of apple juice (ran out of bananas - DD wanted one for brekkie)

half a bread roll left by DD mid morning.

tiny portion of pasta, peas, salad, 1 vege sausage
apple
raisins

chicken/vegetable curry and rice

lots of tea
not enough water
(errr...guilt guilt.... little bottle of lager)

sorry codmother.

Sonnet · 21/05/2004 08:39

hi Guys,
yesterdays menu:
Cornflakeswith a tiny amout of skimmed milk, apple, mug of hot water and lemon on waking.
large black coffee at work
dried apricots as snack.
Lunch: half a baked potato with salad (plus teaspoon of coleslaw)
35g bag of caramel snack-a-jacks
snack: small mug of instant coffee with skimmed milk
Supper: salmon steak, 1 new potato, salad
drank 4 pints of water.
I was happy with my food intake BUT did not manage any execersise.....did 50 sit-ups and 50 underarm thingys

Today I am at home and have v.busy day. Loads of housework and a trip into town.

Had cornflakes for breakfast and will have banana in a moment!
Also will try and go running in early evening. Have got a party to go to tonight!! - wine and nibbles which is the worst combonation for me..

Sonnet · 21/05/2004 08:40

oh also had half a grapefruit and 2 apples yesterday as well.

Sonnet · 21/05/2004 08:42

will avoid pizza then Coddy!!

gscrym · 21/05/2004 08:49

Anyone weighed themselves today yet?

I've been eating much better than usual an dthrown all the cakes and biccies out. No grazing for me as I've nothing to graze on.

I'm 63.8kg. Want to go down to about 58.

Hope everyones's doing well.

JanZ · 21/05/2004 09:06

11 stone again this morning.

Had a medium portion of chili (no rice, althjugh dh made some) plus a couple of slices of 3-grain bread, one brazil nut, a banana and 8 more cherries last night and that was all.

Oops no - I did keep ds company in eating one of his mini toblerones. But that was my only lapse - I even refused a glass of wine from dh!

I'm repeating my day time menu from yesterday - cereal plus banana for breakfast (and half a glass of OJ - not managed to give that up yet!), biled egg & tomato salad, cherries and an apple for lunch/day grazing.

I think tonight we're having Peking duck - but I'll be mingy with the duck and put plenty of shredded leek and cucumber onto the pancakes! I'll also refuse the bubbly we usually have with it (dh will just have to finish the bottle of wine I wouldn't share with him yesterday)

feezy · 21/05/2004 09:39

had my branflakes, banana with skimmed milk. Going out for lunch so will have salad. Going to Portugal on 22nd June so thats exactly 1 month. I wil weigh in tomorrow morning

OH btw if it a toss up between fruit or high cal snacks I allow unlimited fruit really, as it gets you into good foood habits. OK?

ditto butter - I would rather have that thinly spread than cacky flora yuck and jam to mask t he taste of it.

If you are all good toady and do not snack ,I will allow one alcoholic drink this weekend as special reward. or you can do without all week as we said befor.

OP posts:
coddycodcod · 21/05/2004 11:05

tinker - you are very naughty!
suzy where are your raisins?

OP posts:
suzywong · 21/05/2004 11:23

Hello fellow bossees
Well I was 11lbs 6 on Wednesday and am 11lb 4 this morning, so it's going well.
I ended up having a sainsbury's be good to your self 3% fat fish pie last night and it was FOUL. For me, personally, things that are designed to be full of cream and butter presented as loe fat versions are a waste of time so I will be happy just to avoid them in all shapes and forms.
Had my porridge this morning but a bacon and tomato on a brown roll is calling me now, gotta keep my strength up before the lunchtime feed.

coddycodcod · 21/05/2004 11:31

well done suzy

how much bacon?
I avoid potatoes really and just bulk up the veg quantitiy in any meal. I dont buy ready meals but would certainly avoind low fat ones( unless dh is way but then I dont work so its easioer to have time to get stuff)

whatss ont he menu tonght?

NB ladeez planning ahead is the key

Momof2 · 21/05/2004 11:59
