I am starting this thread to take up from the 10 stone one. That thread has given me a lot of strength and hope and I would like to continue that dialogue but thought it might need freshening up. Champs speak to me! Hows it going and how many new food types can you alert me to?
Any more takers for the long haul speak now!

lol your ds willl miss you too though! Good about the elusive period champs! Must say cant eat chocolate as I have bitten the bullet and weighed myself this morning now a mumsnet slimmer with a vengeance (well at least for one week)Need perking up though as I was so overweight it was scarey and I have tried so hard but I knew this would happen when I weighed myself. Oh well.

those pesky scales can be very depressing. But at least when you go on them next week you will be lighter and will feel great.

I am starting to think I may be p/g!! dont feel it except for sore nips and tiredness, but could be before period symptoms. I'll wait till 6th and take another test.... If I dare

champs · 09/06/2004 16:57

kittypickle, how ya doin??

glitterfairy · 09/06/2004 17:15

OOh exciting! Your belief in me is shaming champs as went to the gym today and then dd9 ordered a cream tea for lunch (She is skinny ballet girl YUK!!!) and I finished it for her! I am now crawling off to do penance.

OP posts:
champs · 09/06/2004 21:45

well they do say it's best to eat that kind of stuff after a workout as metabolic rate is super charged!! used to a skinny ballet type......

champs · 09/06/2004 21:46

..... at the age of 6 lmao

glitterfairy · 10/06/2004 12:11

Sadly all of mine are! Athletic and toned but went to the ballet show last night adn one of the mothers said what is happening glitter you are melting! Very impressed as feel really fat at the moment! By the way not sure my metabolism is ever super charged unlesss in the manner of a slug!

OP posts:
champs · 10/06/2004 17:45

rofl@slug!!!
stop being so hard on yourself, you are obv doing really well think of all the coments you've been getting!! You're doing great. I for one have had a falling out with my scales

Kittypickle · 10/06/2004 18:38

Hi Champs, I'm doing fine thanks. We've just got back from holiday. I did fairly well apart from today when we got stuck in the holiday traffic and I ended up eating total rubbish. Just been catching up, have you done another test ?Glitterfairy, must be lovely someone noticing that you've lost, I am still waiting for that .... !!

glitterfairy · 10/06/2004 23:28

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 11/06/2004 13:17

It will happen Kittypickle! It is good but the weighin has made me go completely off for the time being. Need inspiration!

OP posts:
champs · 11/06/2004 20:25

hi!!! Kitty-- just did one, NEG!! must be all the stress I suppose

glitter-- you'll have to stay away from salt then

I am FED up with this diet malarky!! Reading this thread and the other one, I sound like I have split personality, one min I'm all for it, next min I'm fed up....... motivation is needed NOW!!!

champs · 11/06/2004 20:26

glitterfairy · 11/06/2004 22:43

Oh thank god CHamps that was just the sort of inspiration I need yes salt must go ooohps has already Tomorrow the rest follows and am going to be strict Champs so will be checking on you every day. You help me and I'll help you!

OP posts:
champs · 12/06/2004 03:36

LMAO glitter.... I was talking about the way slugs dont like salt!! hahahahaha. You have to excuse my weird sense of humour (if you can call it that)
But please feel free to be strict with me, I need it. (that rememinds me of a conv about whips!)

glitterfairy · 12/06/2004 14:22

Yep Champs the whips are after you matey. have had breakfast of fruit and now onto decaf latte (skinny btw). So far so good. How is work me old mate? Am in a really bad mood at my desk and have kicked my business partner. (not really but wanted to)

I don't feel at all inspiring Champs I'm afraid, just very hacked off with all this. I'm going to have a shot at Slimming World for a month and see how that goes. I don't trust myself enough to ditch WW/SW and just do healthy eating, I find I need the structure of something to follow. Glitterfairy, I am very impressed with your healthy breakfast, I would have passed out by 10am I think!

Jennisaurus · 12/06/2004 19:55

Hi everyone I have been away on holiday and busy with a baby that is now mobile (NOOOO).

I lost a further 3 pounds on holiday, bring my wieght loss to a stone now which is great.

How is everyone? Anyone suffering in this weather without ice cream

glitterfairy · 12/06/2004 22:10

Yes kittypickle but went a little wonky with lunch whihc was mushroom and mozarella sandwich. tea is salmon and new potatoes though so am getting there and gym tomorrow.

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 12/06/2004 22:10

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 13/06/2004 01:09

Champs was your day at work? or or or ?

OP posts:
champs · 14/06/2004 02:24

hi all!!
glitter--- work was (store has changed BIG time)(nice to have adult conv. and get out of house. but cos i miss baba sooooooo much..... btw your day's meals sound ever so good. your whip is not working i have raided the shop!!!
kitty--- i know u can do it!! I would say do sw first as it helps get rid of naughty stuff and change your eating habbits, And give ur weight loss a boost. then change to ww as that seems to have longevity. Also as a long term eating plan ww will be more practical, imagine having to decide on green or red day for the rest of your life?!
jen--- well done!! lol at glitters

glitterfairy · 14/06/2004 14:32

Champs raid the shop? You naughty naughty woman. Here was I considering raiding my kids cupboard for a twix but not now I at least will be the virtuous one!

I am shocked and sad that you could behave so badly! tut tut tut!

How about that for a whipping! Feeling better?

Actually a little snack on first day back is allowed but not by Mrs slimlash!

OP posts:
champs · 15/06/2004 18:58

Haaaaaaaaa!!! well and trully whipped
I must admit I have picked some real bad items from the machine... so glad i dont eat choc anymore as that would deff be my downfall. When I am expressing i go to get a sandwhich or such and the stupid snack machine is like "come on... come onnnnn" and I go over and walk away then go back and walk away. The other day I thought oooh I'll get a bit of choc, OH yeah, dont eat it!!" I'ts so weird it hasn't registered yet, I brought choc cake for family and cut a bit ate some and then gaggggged!! Dh nearly choked laffing
AM boycotting scales after our disagreement last week.

champs · 15/06/2004 19:00

BTW.. who invented Splurters??!! WHYYYYY did I have to taste them?! Where did all these empty packs come from?! did someone leave them here?!
