How much do you think it's possible to lose in 10 weeks?

I have an operation in 10 weeks (unless they cancel on me!)
The operation is not dependent on my losing weight (in fact it hasn't been mentioned) but I know that I will feel happier if I can lose as much as possible between now and then.

I will be on crutches afterwards. The last time I was on crutches I was 2 stone lighter and it was annoying then.

I'm 13.5st and always used to hover about 12 st 4. I've been at a healthy weight at 11 stone.

SOooo..... I need to do this and no excuses. I have a few hiccups along the way to navigate (a couple of birthdays will involved a meal out or two and I'm away for 4 nights at Euro Disney - lots of walking but crap food).

Any ideas welcome.

I can't 5:2 as it makes me too inclined to binge.

I am digging out my old ww plan for something to follow, have bought the 7 mins Davina DVD so I have no excuse not to fit SOME exercise in the day.

Grin Well done Mercury.

My scales show another 1.5 off so far this week. I will see if they still say that come Sunday which is my official day. :)

Yikes. I'd better keep at it. .. operation brought forward a week. or, rather, the lady in the phone who I spoke to originally gave me the wrong date as the surgeon isn't working on the 27th. So its on the 20th instead.

That gives an extra week after for me to heal before a weeks family holiday in Devon.

Dh needs to see about changing the week he booked off though.

Sounds good that your op has been brought forward so you can recover before your holiday. How much have you managed to lose so far Marnie?

5lb. Pleased with that considering I've found it so hard to stick to any diet for the last 12 months. And because of all the birthday meals out etc we've had in the family in the last month.
