Excellent week.

lemonAIIEEE · 19/10/2006 09:36

Well done, your crownishness...

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 19/10/2006 09:40

Great stuff - fab crown WWB. And well done Whoopsie too.

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 19/10/2006 10:10

Well done everybody, great weighlosses, it gives me hope!!

Mind you, last night dh made a french loaf and we ended up eating it with (low fat) pate at around 10.30 last night.... Eek....
Never mind, have been quite sensible the last few days and increased my walking to do an extra 35 brisk minutes on the common. (the dog is loving this one!!)

Hopefully I am moving in the right direction, will let you know on Wednesday....

hub2dee · 19/10/2006 11:06

I'm the oddball Thursday weigh in....

Lost 1 1/2 lbs (total = 22).

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 19/10/2006 11:08

Well done Hub, and well done on all the extra walking Peegeeweegeewitch.

Dottydot · 19/10/2006 11:59

Hub - I get weighed on a Thursday as well - tonight (gulp). Also at 22lbs in total, although fear it might drift a bit when I go this evening...

hub2dee · 19/10/2006 12:41

Thanks Jackieno.

Dottydot: I seem to get about +6 lbs on the scales if I weigh myself in the evening ! Good luck.

WigWamBam · 20/10/2006 10:05

Can I have a volunteer to crack the whip and sort the figures out on Wednesday please? We're off on holiday for a week (so watch that 5lb come right back on again) so I won't be around on Wednesday.

OP posts:
scarysuejonez · 20/10/2006 10:07

Off on holiday again
How lovely.

Do you mean this wednesday coming because if you do I'm hapy to step in again, but any later and I may not be here either (fingers crossed).

WigWamBam · 20/10/2006 10:15

Yes, on holiday again. We haven't had one for ages and then two come along at once!

And yes, this Wednesday coming - if you could do it that would be great.

How are things coming along with the man who puts the stamp on the documents?

Well done everyone on your losses this week. I'm very proud of all of you, and hope to use you as my role models soon.

I've had a difficult week as I've been on a child protection course for two days. A large part of the course was talking about child abuse obviously, but we talked a lot about emotional neglect. It raised a lot of gremlins with me so I think I just need to go to ground for a couple of days until I've spoken to my counsellor.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

WWB well done on your crown - you look fabulous! Have a lovely holiday.

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 20/10/2006 13:08

Littlefish - will be thinking of you. Hope to see you 'back' soon.

scarysuejonez · 20/10/2006 15:17

Littlefish - I remember one particular day on my adoption prep course which was about the Romanian children and how they had fared since being adopted into this country. Some terrible stories of their lives before being adopted. I know just what you mean about "going to ground", think I barely spoke to anyone for about two days.

Don't hibernate for too long, its just as healthy to talk as to think (at the right time).

Dottydot · 20/10/2006 17:16

Hmm, well, half a pound off this week... Still, better than nothing and I hit my magic WW 10% target, so got a keyring! Have got laryngitis at the moment so feeling very sorry for myself - everyone who knows me thinks it's hilarious as I can't talk (usually don't stop) - somehow doesn't seem to stop me eating though...

MorticiaRed · 20/10/2006 20:03

Well done, DottyDot. Have had a bad day - raided the biscuits but will start afresh tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone! x

justamindlesszombiemum · 21/10/2006 23:23

all, long time no see/post/whatever. I think it must be diwali tonight because I am sitting here typing under conditions reminiscent of Beirut or Baghdad! (except prettier) it has been going on now since 7pm and the joy of standing on the back patio watching has long since worn off, to top it all my ginger cat has disappeared, he is probably under a hedge scared witless, i keep calling him between outbursts. DH and I have been out for a meal and I think I know now why drinking alcahol is not recommended when taking ads. the room is spinning slightly and my typing is heavily edited on innacuracy grounds. I ate loads, and had a particularly rich creamy sauce with my main course and delicious spinach fried in olive oil and garlic and pate and tiramisu - I may as well have just downd a bottle of oil and tub of cream- but it was lovely- oh fcuk the fireworks have started again. I wish you could hear them. fortunately my children are sleeping peacefully-god knows how. Aren't there laws on how laTE fireworks should go on until? Must go out and CALL the cats again. Love TO YOU ALL & well done on all fantastice losses. pissed up grin!!!

littlemisssensible · 23/10/2006 11:17

Hi Guys!!!!!

I'm feeling incredibly happy and soppy because this weekend.....
Loud Trumpet Fanfare
I became a grandma!!!!

I've ordered my blue rinse and zimmer frame already!

DGD was born on Saturday morning and weighed in at 6lb2. She is my ds first (although he has a step daughter from his partners previous relationship). He is over the moon and so are we!

I'm going up at the end of next week to play grandma and help out when ds go's back to work!

Sorry can't stop the feel toooooo happy!

Dottydot · 23/10/2006 11:18

JAMZM - hope you didn't have too bad a hangover! I think fireworks are allowed up to 1am when it's a New Year/religious celebration like that. It's not been too bad where I am (Stockport) but when I lived in Wembley it was bonkers!

Meanwhile I've been proper poorly this weekend - cold + I managed to drink some off milk on Saturday and was horribly ill all night. Haven't really eaten much since and the thought of milk makes me reel - so caffeine withdrawal headache all day yesterday! Am starting to eat plain things today but am indulging myself with a day off work..!

Dottydot · 23/10/2006 11:20

Awww - that's lovely littlemisssensible - congratulations!! Lovely that you're going to get to spend time with DGD as well.

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 23/10/2006 11:22

Congratulations littlemisssensible. How fab for you .

Hope you start feeling better soon, Dottydot.

scarysuejonez · 23/10/2006 14:54

congrats to you and your DS littlemisssensible - how exciting.

justamindlesszombiemum · 23/10/2006 21:59

congrats littlemissensible, how lovely, my mum says the grandkids are the best thing about having children. (not sure what that says about my siblings and I)
Saturday night turned into the night from hell, minutes after i finished posting ds woke up, and was wide awake and nattering until 2am, he then proceeded to kick me out of bed until waking up bright as a button at 7.30. I was not bright as a button!!! luckily dh had a good nights sleep in ds's bed and looked after them until i sufaced at 10.30. My cat turned up at about 3.30am (yes i was still awake) he is sitting next to me now, interupting my typing .
We have started our new healthy eating plan today, although I am not sure two chocolate teacakes were included! I have made a really yummy butternut squash and turkey risotto tonight & dh has made himself tuna salad for lunch tomorrow. Maybe I'll start weighing again.
Any news Sue? I was hoping you'd have had the nod from the man who signs the forms by now. Thinking of you anyway.

coppertop · 23/10/2006 22:03

I haven't caught up with all the posts yet but had to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to LittleMiss Sensible.

I hope everyone else is okay.

lemonAIIEEE · 23/10/2006 22:04

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to grandchildren already and DS isn't even 2 yet...
