Hi,
Ok todays hasnt been good for me..
Breakfast wheatabix with semi skimmed milk(same as always)
Lunch had kfc
Dinner fruit.
I dont even like kfc!!I was out shopping with my pregnant friend and her sister, they wanted kfc. I was all set on getting myself a healthy sarny from somewhere. It just didnt happen I really couldnt be bothered to go find something while they waited for me in kfc so I had a burger. It had mayonase in it and everything. So I just had fruit for dinner.
Im going to the babyshow in earlscourt tommorrow. Anyone been before? Is it good?

BIGlilBUBU · 19/10/2006 23:01

Morning everyone. Im ment to be going out tonight with my friend. Im not sure whether to drink or not. If I do ill only have 1 or 2 glasses. But im not sure if its worth it really. How many caleries are there in a glass of wine? Does anyone know? I might cancel and go out with her next week instead. Its abit of a grotty day today.

wat a crap day!
i got compleetly drenched this morning taking kids to school,so did my phone and thats stoped working now!
so i can add it to my list of broken stuff,
frige
washing macheen
micro wave
t.v
sky dish
mobile phone!
ggrrr all this stuff has gone wrong in the last 3 weeks! think im cursed,
oh well at least no sky or proper tv is helping me lose weight cos im not sat waching it whgen kids r in bed and stuffing my face,
i think u shuld try to cut back on the bread though lipsbite, maybe only 2 slices a day? or maybe start byeing the little lofs with the kind of half sized bread?
i know when i comfort eat it is normay toast, but it makes me feel slugish after, and also be carefull with what u r putting on the toast like loads of butter and jam and stuff, its all extra kcals,
and i think bread couses alot of water retention aswell, they say "lose wheet lose weight "
not sure about wine.maybe some one else knows?
athough i could relly do with a cupple of bottles right now to cheer me up from the fact that everything is broken, (knowing my luck the bottle opener wood brake to lol )

BlB - just visited the nutracheck.co.uk site for you

Wine (175 ml glass)
red - 119 cals
rose - 124 cals
white - 116

it's got other cal counts on the site eg g&t - 120 or 56 if with slimline. Personally I think you should go and have a couple, and be good rest of day - I'm not out very much so envious!

DIC - sorry about your phone!!

Good Afternoon everyone.

There are approx a 100 calories per small glass of dry/medium red/white wine which is about 150ml

120 calories for sweet sparkling wine.

140 calories for sweet white wine.

I went oto the cinema last night and resisted having anything, also when I got home at 11.15 I was really hungry but also resisted, feel very proud of myself

Reporting back here every day is really helping to keep me motivated.

I have done my measurements, will post up the results once I have lost half a stone, so another 4 pound to go till then.

Been quite productive this morning, defrosted and cleaned the fridge/freezer, its amazing how long it takes, but it is now sparkling.

Casserole in the oven for tea, although I reckon hubby will be wanting a take away of some sort.

Hopefully when ds has his nap I can clean the dining room, it has become a right dumping ground.

MrsFish · 20/10/2006 12:37

You would be better having a shot of spirit with a low cal mixer, 50 cals a shot, no cals in the mixer and it lasts longer than wine as you have more in the glass

On a different note, I am a carb fanatic usually, but I have drastically cut down this week, compared to usual and I have noticed a difference, my stomach is definitly flatter. I actually had a slice of wholemeal for breakfast and I struggled to swallow it, I didn't enjoy it as much as usual.
