WELL DONE MRS FISH !

I have weighed and have lost 2Ibs (since Sat when I last weighed!) I've decided to resisi weighing every day I'm going to weigh on a Sat as usual and a Thur with you guys. The rest of the week I must be good and avoid it.

Well, 2Ibs off but this is where the week gets hard for me. I'm at home now for the next 11 days so I've really got to try and be good.

So far to keep me occupied I've come up with:-
Cinema trip
Day out to theme park (although there is only going to be fast food available!)
Swimming
Bike ride to the park

Out to netball tonight so hopefully that will shift an extra Ib!

Morning everyone

Well i've just weighed myself and i've lost 2.5 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! Very chuffed although know that my first week on a diet always has the best results.

do u have any of there books they give u when u first join?
just wondering cos i have 2 sets, if u need a book? its just the basics of the diet and stuff.
i think even though i am not at the class anymore i still seem to be kind of following it in my own way

Morning, well done you lot. I have lost a pound, i am happy with that seeing as it is not a full week and i had pizza hut lastnight! Sweetheart, maybe you could take a nice healthy packed lunch to the theme park to avoid all that scrummy fast food, you will save pounds on your waist and your pocket- Bonus!

good morning - i am really pleased i have lost 1Kg - that is 2.2 lbs , fantastic esp as childrens party on sunday and had to drink vast quantities to survive. feeling really motivated, but sadly away next week on holiday , so do not wan tot blow it....will try really hard and if can get DH off the laptop will post from a wet , windy beach in cornwall!!

Morning everyone, wow you've all done so well.
Ive lost 2lb thats since Monday. I dont know how that happened of 3 days dieting.... Well I suppose I was good on sunday so really its 4 days.
Anyway it feels so good to be losing not gaining!!! Well done everyone what a good week. I always find if I see im losing on the scales it keeps me going.
I also think its good that we record what weve eaten each day. So if one week we dont do as well as another, we can look back on what weve eaten and see where we went wrong.
Im meeting a friend for lunch, she's pregnant so will proberbly be stuffing her face. Any ideas on what I can have? It will proberbly be a sandwich place.

Hi, can I join you too? Had DD3 (also have 2DSs) in January and lost loads of weight immediately afterwards cos I was really poorly.(Had eclamptic fit and she was born by ECS) However once breastfeeding got established and I felt ok my appetite took off and now I still eat like a vacuum cleaner. Am a stone heavier than I was after leaving hospital and losing 10lb would be perfect for me. Trying to do aerobics once a week and walk as much as I can. My big prob is that when the 4 older kids go to school i am in house with baby and I breathe a sigh of relief and open the larder! How do I resist?

we r just starting our sencond week today, (weigh in thursdays)
i did like u after 2 of my 3 kids, i gained weight after being pregnant, ggrrr
not fair is it?
after my son 4 mounths ago the minit i got out of delivery room i went asking nurses for food! and couldnt stop eating for about a week, i just felt uncontrolabley hungry,
but im determind not to gain weight this time like i did with the other 2.

Please can I join in too?? Lifes been a bit tumultuous recently with one big move out of the way and one more before the end of the year but need to keep focus on my weight too - probably a bit over a stone overweight at the mo so 10lbs should get me back on the bandwagon properly. Food so far today, one pink grapefruit and two slices of Ryvita and two mugs of tea - actually - make it three, need a drink just now

If you try to plan your brekfast lunch and dinner and snacks it will be alot easier to avoid the lader. For example
breakfast bowl of wheatabix with semi skimmed milk.
Snack some grapes
Lunch tuna salad, or tuna sandwhich with extra light mayo some lettuce on wholemeal bread.
Dinner brown pasta with fried onion garlic and peas mixed together, or chicken and salad...something along those lines.
That way when you start to feel hungry you know lunch times soon and youv'e got a meal planned out.
Also we record everything weve eaten on here every evening. It helps you keep motivated knowing that your going to have someone to tell how good/bad youv'e been.
A few diet tips I find help me. Only wholemeal foods, no white carbs. So brown bread pasta and rice. Its because white bread pasta and rice has alot of refind sugars in them, which convert into fat. 2 litres of water a day help the weight fall off. Sorry if you already knew all that just thought id share those tips with you.
