On sat where going to take ds to a fireworks display, im really looking forwad to it, ds was only 2 months old this time last year. He was asleep in his baby bjorn carrier at a display. He can enjoy all the fireworks this time.

lipsbite · 30/10/2006 21:33

BIG - you mean you hope!!!!

mine was screaming her head off at last fireworks display, she was 13 mths old (WOW... thats flown by!!!!)

sweetheart · 31/10/2006 09:28

Morning all,

Had a crap morning so far - so busy and dd and I had an argunment so she's gone off to school and I feel like a crap mum! We have very similar personalities so we clash alot - I wish I didn't shout at her!

I'm aching this morning from the gym yesterday so I suppose thats a good thing.

BlB - we must be quite close to each other as I'm not far from Chessington. I'm in Hamshire - where abouts are you?

BIGlilBUBU · 31/10/2006 11:54

Sweetheart, Im in Ewell near Epsom. Not too far from you. Hamshires a really nice area, lucky you.
Lipsbite I know what you mean my cousins baby was like that, she hates any loud noises and stuff. But I think ds will love it, he watches them out his bedroom window sometimes when im putting him to bed. We stand by the window and watch them. I know there louder outside but he doesnt scare easlily at all, im sure he'll be fasinated. I think were taking him to this village that has stalls out on the street and things so it wont be a massive display. I think theres ment to be a few pubs there and people sit and have there dinner outside the pub whatching the fireworks.
Everyone stocked up on sweets for the trick or treaters?

loopity · 31/10/2006 12:13

Happy Halloween!

Just back from the supermarket, bags groaning with sweets for the trick or treat-ers. My mum arrived with a huge "pumpkin-face" cake from M+S as well. Will be doing lots of sausages and other party food tonight too. I hope I'll be able to resist. Will have to stick to the monkey nuts and apples. Anyone any tips other than wiring my jaws for the evening!

Sweetheart, I know what it's like in the mornings some days. Can be so stressful trying to get everyone out in time, think I look like a woman possessed by the time I get to school gates some mornings, lol.

sweetheart · 31/10/2006 16:50

It's quiet here today isn't it!

Well, I'm just killing time waiting to go home. Dh has been on a stag do since Friday and he's back this evening, I have missed him so much and feel excited that he's home tonight.

Haven't been too bad today:-

Breakfast - 3 cups of tea
Lunch - wafer thin chicken salad, diet coke and a packet of caramel snack a jacks
Dinner - I'll be cooking chilli and rice for tea.

I have got some sweets in for trick or treaters but I'm hoping I don't get any as dh isn't home till about 8ish and I'm in the house alone until then (dd is off to a haloween party with my sister and I don't think ds counts as he's only 11 months!)
I think I'll be able to resist the temptation to eat them although I did buy fun size milkyway's which are one of my fav sweets!

MrsFish · 31/10/2006 19:05

Just back from dinner, I think I chose reasonably well...

Soup of the day for starters, I took out the croutons and didn't eat the bread.

Lamb shank with veg and about 4/5 chunky chips.

2 bottles of sparkling water.

Achieved my 10,000 steps today. Another good day tomorrow and I'll hopefully stay the same this week.

loopity · 31/10/2006 22:57

Good for you Mrs fish, still haven't managed to get a pedometer - must have a look in the shops again tomorrow

OP posts:
sweetheart · 01/11/2006 09:39

Mrs F - Wow you were really good, well done you!

Well I stayed the same this week - it would have been nice to loose a Ib and be halfway to our 10Ib goal but never mind.

I was doing so well yesterday but then I had 2 slices of low fat garlic bread with my tea, a handful of haribo and a fun size twix out of my dd's trick or treat stash!

Lipsbite - sorry I don't want to sound mean but your food diary sounds like alot of calories. Is that a typical day? Do you find you loose weight!?!?!?! I'd be interested to know!

How did everyone else do on the weigh in?????

I'm off to the gym today.

Hi snorkle

Weigh-in normally on a Thursday morning, sweetheart don't worry you've got until tomorrow so you never know - could be a loss yet - I'd be happy with even half a pound off this week esp as I helped myself to a couple of mini milkyways from the trick or treat stash last night oops

Ok im about to make you all feel very good...
I ate like a pig yesturday....
Braekfast 2 slices of w/m toast with marmite. I wanted cornflakes but i only had whole milk fr ds no semi skimmed so i had toast.
Lunch dp ds and i went to pizza hut when we were out shopping, I had about 6 slices not good at all!!
It gets alot worse...
Went to cinema to see saw 3, I shared popcorn with dp and ate the best part of a £5 pick and mix. Mostly chocolate peanuts and cola bottles so very very bad!
Then we got home and I ate 2 slices of fresh white bread with loads of butter and peanut butter on.
I felt so sick when i went to bed. My mum had ds for the night so me and dp slept untill 12!
Ive done well today though so far. Ill report todays food later.

BIGlilBUBU · 01/11/2006 19:19
