Ah-ha found this thread at last (all it takes is a little child-free time at the copmuter).

Lost nothing this week. Still - didn't put any weight on which is good, but not good enough. Must write down what I eat so I can stop kidding myself that I didn't really eat the kids sweets out of desperation...

yes he's better i think, hasnt eaten much or had any milk. But he's sound asleep now though

Hiya,

I mean I have been eating clotted cream, double cream, squirty cream in and on everything. I was even trying to work out whether clotted cream went well with bread ther other day. This is why I need to get a grip!!

Today I have been really bad. I have eaten:-
Breakfast A terry's chocolate Orange.
Lunch A bowl of Special K with SS milk and A cup of coffee with 2 sugars.
Dinner Half a large Mexican Pizza and a slice of chocolate fudge cake.

Drinks throughout the day: 2 coffees, 1 glass of coke and 2 glasses of water.

Someone please shout at me lots.

I am going to try really hard this week and make a big effort, as I have been reading through this thread and everyone has done sooooo well. I hope I can too.

Jeanie, think of some rules to have for your diet. For example no cream or chocolate. No snacking inbetween meals unless fruit. Something like that. My rules are. No bread (that only started today) only wholemeal pasta and whole meal rice. Try and stay away from cheese and butter. Obviously no crisps chocolate sweets or fast food. I drink 2 litres of water a day. There my sort of guide lines that I try and stick to. I also try to have my dinner no later that 7oclock.

hi, hope we r all feeling positive this week, I can be pretty good in the week, but lose all good intentions at the weekend.
Yesterday
Breakfast stewed apples and apricots
lunch toms, mozzarella and advcado with fresh basil
Dinner huge roast!! couldnt help it, loads of meat and veg just one potatoe
Snack bar of aero bubbly i know i know 246 calories!!

In light of the fruit conversation is my breakfast a good one or should stick with cereal?

Good costababe, try having 4pints a day. That will help you lose weight faster. Roasts arnt too bad, at least you only had 1 potato. Just be really good today.

O.M.G i set my self a target for this week of having me and the 3 kids up and dressed and fed by 10am this week, i just got up!!!!!!!!!
im a failer hehe!
costababe your breakfast sounds grate, this might be a stupid question but how do u make it?
i woodnt mind having a go.
and i am going to start on the water agen to, i was a few weeks ago but slowly it has gone down to only a cupple of cups a day. did make me feel so much better when i was drinking the right amount,
also i think i will join in with the no bread thing to, i dont think i have ever been with out it compleetly, time to try

biglilbubu what kind of thing do u want to do indoors today? u mean with your ds? or for exersise type thing?
with ds do u have cbeebies? or tweenies vidios? if u do put them on and clear a space and do the dances with him, the tweenies dances r one hell of a work out ! and good for ds to help him learn some co ordination skils and good times 4 you boath.
cleaning can be good work out through some music on and dance your way through cleaning lol the hoover makes a grate dance partner you can add exra lunges and stuff to it to and when cleaning mirrors do the karati kid wax on wax off lol, but shut the curtians first or nosiey nabouers might think u lost the plot....

Hi everyone
Hope I haven't blown the weight loss this week by going out last night. Yesterday I had :
Breakfast - half piece of toast and cup of tea
Lunch - roll with tuna, spring onion and low-fat mayo
Dinner - olives and bread to start, then chicken dish with roast potatoes, no pudding just coffee but shared bottle of wine with dh

Looking at this I am eating far, far too much bread too, I am going to try to only eat it at breakfast time. And I need to up the water too. Will give it a go from today in hope of achieving some weight loss, even half a pound, on thursday!

Hi, I soak dried apricots in some boiled water and leave over night, then thinly slice about 4 granny smiths add the chopped apricots and the water I soaked them in, I also add a pinch of cinamon, or mixed spices, and leave to simmer til really mushy. I normally do enough for two three days.
Lunch ideas I have a problem with, trying to cut out or at least down on bread, I get really stuck on what to have any ideas, please not salad all the time!

Lunch ideas....try cooking some chickpeas tinned tomato onions garlic courgette and herbs. Boil it up and have with a backed potato, or on its own, it goes nicely with rice or pitta. But obviously if your cutting out bread no pitta.
Or if you want something very quick, maybe just a couple of rivitas with some low fat cream cheese on. Or just have some pasta thats reletivly quick.
Good idea think i'll take him to the gym they've got a pool there.

Oh dear

I have been away all weekend - avoiding the truth of how naughty I have been - but I really must get back to it so I'm here to name and shame myself! I weighed again Sat am and had lost another 2Ib bringing my total to 4Ib BUT after the weekend I've had I've put 3 back on!

OK - this is how bad I've been.......

Friday *night8 - drank about 2 bottles of wine
Saturday (here we go!)
cereal with full cream milk
cheese and bacon pastry
flapjack
cream tea for lunch
McDonalnds cheesburger
chicken curry and french bread
another 2 bottles of wine!
Sunday
toast
cheese and tom sandwich and crisps
roast dinner (with about 4 roast pots!)
apple crumble with left over clotted cream for pudding

Oh dear lord - it looks awful actually written down!

OK - so someone kick my arse PLEASE !

I am doing better today - so far I have had 1 cup of tea, milk, 1 sugar. I am going to have a ww soup for lunch and a home made curry for tea with rice. I will do better this week!

Have some outings planned with the kids so hopefully I'll be too busy to eat anything!

Oh, on some good news though - I ordered 2 dresses from my Next catalogue for a friends wedding. I ordered them in a size 12 and they were both too big! I was very very pleased.

Well done to all of you that managed to survive the weekend without being naughty - you are my idols and I will try harder next week to be more like you!
