BIGlilBUBU · 21/10/2006 22:59

Hi everyone.
Ok today not so good.
breakfast fry up. I went out last night and felt the need for some hangover food.
Lunch nothing, had the fry up at 1.
Dinner 5bean chillie with rice.
Snacks sunflower seeds, 3pears.
Lots of water and diet coke.
Last night I stayed away from wine and had vodka soda and lime. Is the lime bad? It is isnt it...I just needed something to hide the vodka taste.
This week im going to cut out bread completely. Its not just the bread thats bad but what you put on it. And it just doesnt fill me up for long at all.
My ds woke up being sick tonight. I had to shower him down as it was all over him and in his hair. I changed his sheets and put him back to bed. I thought he'd just been sick because he'd eaten more than normal just before bed. So I thought he might feel hungry after throwing up his dinner. So I took a bottle of milk up for him, but when I went in I noticed he'd been sick again. He was fast asleep in his sick bless him. Anyway so I changed his pjs again and the sheets. He woke up when I was doing this and saw the bottle. I didnt really want to give it to him as he'd been sick again. But he saw it and started crying for it. I propped his head up on his teddy and gave him the bottle to drink, he fell back to sleep for about an hour then woke up being sick. Obviously giving him the milk was a bad idea. He woke up again a min ago and was heeving but didnt have much else more to come up. Im starting to wonder what the hell it could be, he doesnt have a temperature. Any ideas what could of caused it? Sorry to rabit on but he's never really been sick before.

dislexicicecream · 21/10/2006 23:39

Just popped in to say goodnight!
Does he have a cold, BlB? My ones tended to be sick when they were put in cot and had drink of milk - kind of had to gag to clear their noses if bunged up and then the milk would all come up with it. Hope he's better soon x

Hi,

Can I please join you too. I am about a stone and a half heavier than pre-pregnancy and have been eating for England since DD2 was born in July. I reckon I have probably put back on most of the weight I gained whilst I was pg. This is mostly due to the fact that I can't stop eating cream.

I will weigh myself now and start keeping and posting a diary tomorrow.

loopity · 22/10/2006 00:12

Welcome jeanieG

dislexicicecream · 22/10/2006 00:22

how r u eating your cream? i mean what with? or do u mean ice cream?

BIGlilBUBU · 22/10/2006 11:47

Good morning everyone.
Just preparing myself some lunch. I was going to have chickpeas casserole with brown rice, but I dont have any brown rice left or chickpeas. Not sure whether to have some basmati rice with salad beans or brown pasta with peas sweetcorn and tuna...

Judy1234 · 22/10/2006 15:50

My 3 bananas, why not so good because I often use them to binge on, can eat 6 at once. I know most people don't get fat on fruit but I have a thing about the sweetness in it, can eat easily 400g of cherries, apples etc and some days the calories in the fruit is huge. Just because it's fruit doesn't mean you lose weight.

Yesterday usual breakfast, took lunch on my flight - had to read BA rules and make sure none of the food was liquid so cold chicken brown rice and carrot was okay. Bought for flight home brown bread, egg and cress sandwich and had two small smoothies. At home 3 bananas.

Today usual breakfast, then salmon but fried, with fried rice and spinach and a banana and an apple for lunch. Avoided birthday party food so far... rare and good for me.

goshme · 22/10/2006 18:24

Xenia - is that really true about the cals in fruit? It could be why I just don't seem to shift any weight! I eat reasonably well during the day & but in the evenings do tend to pig out on fruit, grapes & plums in particular, and I just don't lose any weight! I thought I was being good by eating lots of fruit - what could I eat instead? I know nothing would be best but I'm not that kinda person!!

MrsFish · 22/10/2006 18:44

If you eat enough of anything you will gain weight, just because it is fruit makes no difference. Moderation is the key

Best fruit for low calories are strawberries 7 calories per ounce, melon between 5-8 depending on type, Rhubarb 2 calories per ounce and all the berries are approx 7-8 per ounce too.

Anyone want to know any more, let me know.

Bananas for a medium sized one approx 100 calories each.

BIGlilBUBU · 22/10/2006 19:42

Ok today i have eaten....
Breakfast wheatabix
Lunch wholewheat spagetti with peas sweetcorn tuna and tinned tomato.

dislexicicecream · 22/10/2006 19:55

frute also contains all the emsines to digest it though, unlike prossest foods, it dose have callerys but they r the better type not consontrate and they r easyer to burn,
