How can I lose 10lbs before my holiday on, er, Monday?

In a panic. Was meant to start diet in May but one thing (or rather, one pizza) led to another and now I've got less than a week.

I'm 5'6" and look great at 9st 7. This morning I was 10st 11! Shiiiiiiiit!

What can I do? I really REALLY need to crash some of this off. I don't care if it's unhealthy, it's only for a few days and I can do it properly when I get home.

Any and all ideas MASSIVELY gratefully received. What are your tried and tested tricks? Thank you!

Can I ask someone- will this ever be over?

I am 52 and have been on diets since I was about 15. Will I ever reach that nirvana when I just stay the same weight all the time and can forget about it?

Am doing crash-diet exercise equivalent with an hour of exercise every day. Will let you know if it makes any difference.

Step away from the crisps.

they will only make you bloated and spotty.

I haven't had a crisp in months, I do like some spicy coated dry roasted peanuts once a week.

Breaking ultraslim shakes surprisingly do-able. I have not yet gnawed any furniture as a result of hunger pangs and today is day 4.

I have been buying chewing gum to convince my tummy I have eaten.

I have had my dinner. Seems a long time until lunch tomorrow. I will put money on DH eating again within the next 2 hours. Skinny bugger.

Still not had the tea.

Beastofburden I gave up chocolate almost a year ago to this day, don't even like the smell now, and I was a crazy chocolate addicted cocoa guzzler before.

I was being good but then accidentally ate lots of crisps

I read something on mumsnet a few months ago, about roasting kale in the oven and adding a bit of salt and sesame seeds as a salty/crispy snack.
Oh dear god, never again!
It was vile, like something had died in my oven and the whole house smelt of the bastard kale for days!!!

I've got a potential disaster on my hands, I've stuck to the tomato soup diet rigidly but I've just ran out GrinHmm
And I haven't really got the right stuff in for more. And tomorrow is the banana skimmed milk day. I hate drinking milk. Oh fuckity fuckity fuck.

I do celebrity slim, hate hate hate the name but it works and the taste is strangely addictive.

I do a week every now and againit's two,shakes, and a meal with no,carbs Atwood,snacks, you can have cheese , nuts etc.

I can only do it for a week but have lost 8lb in a week,and maintained it.

It isn't cheap but the amount ice spend on it intwo,months is equal to,weight watchers etc.

Yesterday I caved and got out some croissants and pain au chocolat for today's breakfast. They proved brilliantly overnight and look amazing.

I've not eaten anything all day due to feeling (and being) sick. Urgh.

Actually, I've had one scoop of ice cream to soothe my sore throat once I finally stopped feeling sick. Still can't face anything else.

Maybe it will kick start me on my weight loss 'journey' as I've got one week to go til I go back to school and face all my colleagues. It's embarrassing enough that I've put on nearly a stone in the last year (due to a combination of lack of willpower, getting poorly and my activity dropping and more lack of willpower) without having put back on another 5lbs that I'd just lost before the hols.

My 16s are tight. I refuse to buy 18s as I'd just accept putting on weight - and I can't afford to anyway. :(

Fell face first into some coffee cake today. God I'm going to turn into a toilet roll inard shaped person. As my mother calls it "nice and solid". I don't want to be solid I want to be waiflike, people offering me a sandwich to feed me up etc etc

Soup tomorrow and water and then more soup. That'll balance out the cake mishap.

Well done all the losers and bellies up all the wannabe losers. Grin

11.5 this morning Smile BUT I fell off the wagon spectacularly last night and ate 2 pieces toast and peanut butter, packet of crisps and 4 choc digestives. Shock Foooooooook! And I've no bloody soup left so I'm doing fruit, plain salad and chicken. I was doing so well too, for almost 3 days anyway Hmm

Still 12 stone 1lb Hmm.

Just having mushroom soup - home made. Got liver, kidneys, carrots and mushrooms in the slow cooker along with a red onion. Have made mash to go with it. Perfect for a wet and cold day.

Hate being fat.

Had half a Banaba on the morning.
Been working all day and never have time or inclination the eat when I'm working.

DH is between contracts so we decided to make the most of our time together (stepkids arrive tomorrow and it looks like he'll be starting a new job on Monday) and go out.

Ended up in a bistro pub... half a sharing platter of homemade pork pie, chicken liver pate etc then sausages and mash all washed down with two pints of ale.

Utterly divine but I'm sure the scales will punish me tomorrow.

Still raining here. Has been raining since before 9am.

Just had dinner. It cost £1.66 for the meat Shock. Liver, kidney, carrots, mushrooms, onions and mash. Delicious. Never cooked kidney before and not had it for years and then it was a shop bought/pub meal of steak and kidney pie. Mine was better Grin.

Might have wine later as now all the kids are home they are back to fighting - any combination of 2 is fine, put all three together and it is hell.

I'm joining in with the inadvisable diets.... I've put on 1 1/2 stone since I got married last winter and I was half a stone overweight then!
I'm going with the cabbage soup diet to start with, had A Tonne of soup, an apple with cinnamon, an orange a handful of raisins, 3 pints of water and 2 coffees. More soup for tea.
I feel a bit weird tbh Confused and I'm not looking forward to 'veg day' tomorrow - it's just soup day really isn't it? Just with some french beans added :( Going to buy shittertea and epsom salts tomorrow, do you think I can make some kind of slimming tummy wrap with epsom salts and clingfilm??
