Just read this morning that 'too much fruit can make you fat!' I really hope this isn't the case as I'm not eating much at all apart from salads and soup with the occasional slice of bread but I eat quite a lot of fruit to fill myself up.

I will more than likely eat 2 apples, 1 banana, 2 tangerines, handful of raspberries etc etc.

I try and eat raw veg in my salads like broccoli and cauli and carrots and cabbage, celery etc.

This has worried me, now I think I'm never going to lose weight because I eat loads of fruit :(

I'm doing a bit of walking (with 9MO DD strapped to my back) the route I do, twice a day is down hill on the way there but up hill on the way back (steep up hill).

Please someone reassure me I can lose weight doing what I'm doing, I jut keep reason things that make me think I can't do anything roght

I find the same thing and on my way of eating ( i follow my blood type as well as Paul mckenna) I don't eat the deadly nightshade fruit and veg. so I have no eczema or arthritis; some people think it odd because i don't eat potatoes but I'd far rather eat parsnips or celeriac than have all your mum's problems Grin

Starting to get a bit disheartened. Thought I would've seen a difference in how clothes fit etc by now but nope! :( I've been really good - eating soup, salad an stir fries and only eating 2 pieces of fruit a day. I'm well under 1200 calories on MFP. Well under 1000 some days

Boohoo

When I've lost weight I only really see a difference in my clothes after 10lbs or so. You're doing great, remember I took a long time to go on so will take a while to get off.

Thank you! I think I lose it from my chest, face and fore arms first. I've noticed from my face a little bit.

Trying so hard

prawny it's worth your while looking at Paul Mckenna I Can make You Thin (silly title i just wanted to be slim and Iam now Grin) because it talks about HOW we eat rather than WHAT and it reeducates us to eat ONLY when we're hungry (and not go hungry) and to STOP when we're full or satisfied, it really does work.

Hey all just an update! Still doing well, tho today has been tough :( had 2 squares of cadbury's chocolate, it's the first time in ages I've allowed myself any! I could've eaten the whole damn packet but I didn't and I'm proud of myself for that :)

Noticeably less flab on my back and my bouncy castle like tummy is feeling a bit less bouncy! I no longer have cankles but lovely defined ankles and slimmer legs.

Haven't had the opportunity to get out for a walk with DD as its been pissing it down :( can't really have baby in back pack with weather like this haha

Congrats.! if you changed your choc. for a dark one (green and blacks mint is fab.) You are then having something that's actually GOOD for you;there's magnesium in it and they reckon it's also protective of your teeth (not the milk choc. though Grin

I've got a brilliant muffin top busting exercise if you're interested!

prawnypoos · 25/05/2014 09:20

It's just hat was there haha but yes you're right. Dark chocolate is so much better for you. This AF is due to make an appearance soon haha.

Ohh would love to know

THE AMAZING MUFFIN TOP BUSTING EXERCISE Grin

!. Lie flat on a firm surface (i do this on my mattress in bed )

  1. Lift your head and shoulders to the count of 5 secs. and hold for 5 secs. then release for 5 secs. MOST IMPORTANTLY KEEPING YR HEAD IN LINE WITH YR SPINE.
  1. do it 3 times a.m. and p.m. I put my arms above my head [flat] to increase the difficulty.

It activates my belly muscles keeping the calorie burn all night !! Helps sleeping too.

I will have to try that!! Thanks very much
