Anyone got more than 10 stones to loose?

I have read through the threads and it seems that most have only a few stones to loose. I know every weight loss is good in it's own right but I have more than 10 stones to loose and I seem like the only one.

JennH · 02/05/2004 10:59

Just thought I would pop in here, I had a mini pig out last night so feeling guilty today, but other than that I am doing really well

Struggeling to eat 5 fruit and veg a day though

champs · 02/05/2004 17:12

go glitter!! no p/rolls.... i am impressed. I have 4 wks til ds2 christening so hope to lose 4lbs at least, 6 at best. then I can look half decent.

Jenn.... we are entittled to the odd pig out!! and like you said, you are doing well other wise. forget about it and look forward to your bikini

have you tried juicing? or some of the fruit juices that say they count towards 5 a day?
how about adding banana or strawberries to your cereal?

JennH · 02/05/2004 18:28

Ok i just caloried it and I came in under my cals for yesterday so I was paranoid

I am really struggeling to eat 1500 a day, thats loads!

Currently I drink orange, have an apple with lunch, 2 veg with dinner or some salad and i sort of get filled up!

My clothes are definately looser, but now I need to get into a better excersie programme. Off to do some aerobics now

champs · 02/05/2004 23:28

and up 2,3,4, down 2,3......

glad it wasn't that bad, it hardly ever is!!! we change our habits so much when dieting that a pig out on a diet is hardly ever as bad as a pig out when not dieting... unless you visit krispy kremes

glitterfairy · 03/05/2004 07:39

Champs you are the goddess of chocolate you keep coming up with things I have never eaten! Its fantastic so try this. At the end of detox ten days thought I would treat myself to chocolate covered rice cakes and chocloate covered sesame snaps! Rice cakes gorgeous (organic dark so even feel vaguely virtuous) as are sesame snaps and my dh said I sounded orgasmic as was eating one in the car. Am trying to limit my intake of these little slices of heaven but...... Anyway am giong to carry on trying to lose weight and keep up some of my good work on detox and off to the gym this morning.

champs · 05/05/2004 00:20

rofl... glitter you made me laugh...orgasmic LOL
had a strange happening today, ds1 was eating some easter egg, and said "try some mum" so I ate a bit and it was DISGUSTING!!!! I had to spit it out!! The only time that has happened is when I gave up chocolate for a year!! In reality choc isnt good for me as it gives me migrane (and wobbbly bits)But like a true addict I cant help but eat it, but now the taste is revolting I will be able to resist , Beety I could kiss you, will come and crash your thread.....

BTW glitter Krispy Kremes are american donuts, donuts are my BIG downfall, I havent had one for 2mths now tho (very pleased with self LOL), these particular donuts are multiple orgasm inducing but if you even look at one you'll gain 6lbs

glitterfairy · 05/05/2004 07:28

Oh my god donuts as well you make me lauigh champs and am vaguely considering asking if I can join the weight loss club but only if I can do inches not weights. By the way used lmao at a conference the other day to see if anyone knew what it meant and no one did felt really smug!Have now added roflmaoto your description. Anyway need a bit of a boost diet wise at the moment as can do it all day and then tv in the evening is a nightmare but am confing myself to the odd marmite sandwhich!

Soulfly · 05/05/2004 09:29

Wow, you all seem to be doing so well, I have lost all motivation and i keep telling myself to stop eating rubbish, but before i know it, i have. I hate the weight i am, but don't feel strong enough to deal with it. MY mum keeps telling me that I ought to loose weight. I get motivated and it lasts a week or too, and then i just flop back to way it was before. I am feeling quite down about it, but am putting on a brave face, when really i wanna cry. well done everyone for doing so much better than me.

glitterfairy · 05/05/2004 10:09

We have all been there soulfly worry not and probably still will be.I have to say that the friends I have found here have helped enormously adn it never ever helps to say you ought to do something you dont want to. I get very rebeliious and just eat more whenever someone does that to me. I also think guilt about eating is very hard to take. We all need treats sometimes and I have always packaged food as good or bad but am starting to understand hunger abit more and the demands of thinking abit more about what i eat. I am most certainly not perfect and will probably binge I have just stopped punishing myself for it. This might not help but liking yourself also helps I know I dont like myself when i binge but do when I am trying hard. However there are times when chocolate is so very wonderful. Dont cry whatever happens you are strong (must be you have kids) and can do anything you really want to.

champs · 05/05/2004 17:48

glitter--- i certainly wanted to roflmaonpms
I do find that measuring inches can be very beneficial, sometimes I loose inches and NO weight.

Soulfly-- glitter is abs, right.
take each day as it comes. Just read the post and you will see there have been times when we're down and times when we are up. The fact that you are trying is all that matters. When you feel down try and do something that keeps your hands busy... easier said than done I know, but if your hands are full they cant feed you. Also plan some treats into your day, like say today I'm going to have ???? for a treat, you can have one at such and such a time and one say in the evening. When you are not banning a food it looses it's appeal.... you know what we're like if something is forbidden we want it all the more.
I have found that the support from you guys has helped me so much (will stop gushing now)

champs · 05/05/2004 17:52

btw why does all the bad stuff dieters crave begin with c?
Chips, Crisps, Cheese, Cookies, Chocolate, Cake.... Chocolate cake!!

champs · 07/05/2004 23:47
