And here we go, another new thread for another new week

Yes, I saw that one kicking off and have avoided since the first few posts. We're away this weekend, off to the seaside so DH can do some diving, and then he's away for work for 10 days or so. Usually that's when I eat particularly badly, so I'll really have to sort myself out, and make sure I come on here for some support instead of eating.

MrsJohnCusack · 12/07/2006 21:07

I don't even dare open the breastfeeding thread

Where's my curry?

WigWamBam · 12/07/2006 21:10

I eat badly when dh is away too - half the problem is that I can't be bothered to cook decent food for just me, so I end up eating junk. And I either eat far too much, or nowhere near enough.

Where are you going at the weekend ... anywhere exciting?

JackieNo · 12/07/2006 21:10

Has it not arrived yet, MrsJohnCusack? I was going to suggest a glass of wine to pass the time, but I guess you're not drinking atm.

MrsJohnCusack · 12/07/2006 21:12

no not drinking (except the odd half glass here and here) and no wine anyway!

my DH is away - hence the curry - no food when I got back from my parent's today, and far too hot and knackered to drag DD out again to the shops. But am now practically crying with hunger, have realised I haven't eaten enough today.

JackieNo · 12/07/2006 21:13

I'm the same, WWB. Have to force myself to eat with DD and DS, then I have a half decent chance of eating something sensible. But sometimes end up eating a piece of toast, or a huge amount of chocolate.
Going to Pembrokeshire, where I grew up. So a couple of visits to the beach for us, if the weather's OK. It's a long way to go for a day and a half - four and a half hour trip. We must be mad.

WigWamBam · 12/07/2006 21:14

It is a long way for a weekend ... nice though.

And we'll see my mum, too. Which is a good thing, but will also be why I am coming up in a couple of huge teenage-style spots. She's the only person who would dare comment on them, and whenever we're about to see her, my skin plays up.

suejonez · 12/07/2006 22:39

pembrokeshire is so nice - many happy hours spend at our caravan in saundersfoot as a child (we lived in Llanelli so Saunderfoot was local'ish to us).

Mrs JC - didn;t know you were so local to me - I used to live in Isleworth so even closer! If you want to meet up for a coffee I'm game - M&S at Kew retial park does nice Lattes if you're still drinking coffee...

suejonez · 12/07/2006 22:40

OOh ooh I played on the extended breast feeding thread until the big girls got there, then I ran away.

WigWamBam · 12/07/2006 22:44

I've joined those threads before ... caused more heartache than they're worth really. The last one went to over a thousand posts and ended up with extended breastfeeding being equated with child abuse.

Hence sitting on my hands ...

MrsJohnCusack · 12/07/2006 23:21

sue! would love to. Seem to have gone of coffee but there's always tea (and muffins/cakes/brownies - aaaargh) I like a nice trip to Kew Retail Park as well

suejonez · 12/07/2006 23:24

I don;t work Fridays so am often aound then in addition to the weekends

WigWamBam · 13/07/2006 10:58

I want to live where there are lots of lovely MNers to meet up and have coffee with ...

Right - we're still a couple of people short this week but I'm going to do the figures anyway otherwise I'll lose track of what I'm doing and the whole thing will fall over.

ALittleBitShy: stayed the same (total loss around 14lb)
Coppertop: Stayed the same (total loss 10lb)
Fauve: Stayed the same (total loss 6lb)
JackieNo: -3lb (total loss 18lb)
Schneebly: -2lb (total loss 14.5lb)
Suejonez: -3lb (total loss 10lb)
WWB: -1lb (total loss 13lb)

So fighting over the crown this week are JackieNo and Suejonez ... and no-one's gained anything this week so three cheers for all of us!!

Right, off to start a new thread for this week.
