Is anyone else finding their sleeps affected?

So restless Sad

antimatter · 04/08/2013 12:35

I think my sleep might have been affected. Ketosis makes my muscles ache. I started taking Magnesium Citrate from Solgar,
I am adding oil & milled flaxeed to my shakes as well.

ChestyNut · 04/08/2013 13:34

I already take a magnesium supplement for RLS. Hope it settles down?

Oh my just found what looks like a hole in my tooth too.

MsJupiterJones · 04/08/2013 16:44

Hi there, well done to all of you weightlosers!

I did LL Total several years ago and lost 6.5stone, really enjoyed it as I have had such a difficult relationship with food and felt like I reset that.

Since having my baby I've put a load of weight on and thinking about returning to do Lite. However Cambridge is cheaper. Does anyone have experience of both to compare?

MyJellybean · 04/08/2013 16:48

The gym may have affected your weight loss Sammac as you may have made muscle which is smaller than fat but does weigh more. I know when l did SW diet the wks l went to the gym more than twice l gained or sts.

unclehairysgirlfriend · 05/08/2013 09:15

So glad I found this thread, can I join in? I just ordered a starter pack from Exante so will hopefully be starting tomorrow or Wednesday. I lost almost 4 stone on Cambridge before I had DC2 but have put it all back on and now have 7 stone to lose Blush

MyJellybean · 05/08/2013 10:45

Hi uncle. I started with Exante but since using this thread I mix it with Slim & Save. I was just Exante for 3weeks and then added an evening meal during 4th week. I then found it difficult not having an evening meal. That's when I got a trial pack from S&S as they had meals you could have with veg. They also do great chocolate bars. I now have an Exante shake in morning, an Exante or S&S bar for lunch and then either meat/fish salad or S&S meal with veg in evening and I'm losing 2-3lb each week. I started at 12st 12lb and have weigh in tonight when I hope to be 10st 3lb, that's since 13 May. Hope this helps.

unclehairysgirlfriend · 05/08/2013 11:52

Thanks MyJ, very helpful. Off to look at S&S now...

ChestyNut · 05/08/2013 17:43

Gosh I'm angry today Angry

Abstinence or just wankbadgers at work?

PutThatDownNow · 05/08/2013 18:41

Evening everyone, welcome uncle.

Just had weigh in. One pound off this week so a total of 10lb. Still moving in the right direction but rather slowly for my liking. Have been sole source and drinking gallons of water. Am in ketosis so I guess the fat is going somewhere.

Chesty, I should think it's a bit of both.

MyJellybean · 05/08/2013 21:44

End of week 12 and weigh in showed 3lb loss.
Total 36.5lb - current weight 10st 3.5lb

ChestyNut · 06/08/2013 17:56

All ok?

Am trying to talk my self into the fact that the scampi cooking in the oven smells horrible and i wouldnt like it, oh no I wouldn't Hmm

First weigh in tomorrow.

PutThatDownNow · 06/08/2013 18:58

Well done MyJelly, good results and staying power!

Hope all goes well tomorrow Chesty. The scampi would be horrible, don't touch it. And would undo the good work of last few days. Be strong today and tomorrow you will get your reward!

MyJellybean · 06/08/2013 19:23

Exercise has begun. Oh My Lord!!!!! First ever circuits class tonight. I'm booked in for Zumba and Pilates tomoz evening but don't yet think I'll be able to get outta bed let alone exercise. It's been a long time since I've done any exercise but now that I've lost over 36lb thought I'd better do some toning up ready for the final stone. X

Good luck everyone with weigh-ins this week, and Chesty - the swampy will taste horrid, really really yuk x

maggie666 · 06/08/2013 21:22

Hi everyone.... sorry I have been MIA for a while. ... I have gone back to work after my maternity leave ended and it's been knackering! You are all doing so well. I should have read some posts to stay motivated. I have been low carbing but having a bit of food with my shakes. Weight loss had been slower but I don't feel deprived. I have lost a total of 16lb in 6 weeks. So I'm pleased with that. .... Only another 40 to go. Lol.x

ChestyNut · 07/08/2013 20:53

Week one done and 10lbs gone Smile

MyJellybean · 07/08/2013 22:20

Well done Chesty, great result.
Well done Maggie, I had 3 weeks on plan and then had a week of evening meals, however I'm now in week 13 and still having an evening meal every day. I'm happy with the 2-3lb a week off. I've only had 2 weeks of less than 2lb off. 16lb in 2 weeks is good.

unclehairysgirlfriend · 08/08/2013 07:45

Some great results on here, well done everyone. First day on Exante for me yesterday - really enjoyed the shakes but not quite so keen on the bar. Super busy day at work so that took my mind off eating and went to bed early before I had the chance to feel hungry. Up early this morning and a bit peckish, thumping headache so need to up the water intake. Feel so much less bloated already!

Wowserz129 · 08/08/2013 08:16

First week done 9lbs off. Took a big dent out of the 3 stone I had to lose Grin

Nornironmum · 08/08/2013 19:33

Hi all, just back from hols after a 2 week break. Not sure how much I put on, will weigh in tomorrow but I imagine 7lb?
Anyhow back on Cambridge soule source tomorrow for at least a week to shift it, then will move on to maintainance maybe 2 days per week Cambridge, still not sure yet.
Was quiet good on hols but didn't drink hardly any water so I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
How you all doing?

MyJellybean · 09/08/2013 09:02

Well done on weight loss Wowserz it's great to get that big loss in first week isn't it, such an incentive to continue.
Uncle, I struggled at first with the Exante bars, I found they left a sort of dusty/gritty feeling in your mouth but now they are fine. I do prefer the choc orange ones though. If you continue to struggle with the try the S&S bars they are more like a cake or choc bar and taste great, not as filling though.

sammac · 09/08/2013 09:22

Glad to see the losses continue. I've been in a bit of a huff with myself at my rubbish loss of a pound last week so have been busy. I've done Pilates, gym, Bodypump and am just about to go to sh'bam( whatever that is!!) Back to work on Monday after the long summer holidays and want to look good! Scales this morning not down any but I'm being optimistic for WI tomorrow. And I've got a body balance class tonight. After not exercising for a long time I'm enjoying it and don't stand out in the class for being bigger/unfit/big tomato face.
My aim is healthy BMI and fitness (and a size 12!)

On a lighter note, I'd ordered size 14 black trousers for going back to work -and they're TOO BIG!! Too baggy round the tummy. Getting sent back. And I've started selling my old clothes on ebay.

Told you I've been busy Smile

smokinaces · 09/08/2013 11:30

I'm here, in the 9s at 9st 13 and happy. Tis my birthday weekend though, and weekend away so very few packs and lots of restaurant food. Eek.

MyJellybean · 09/08/2013 22:42

Hi Sammac, like you I've been busy with the exercise this week, Tue - circuits, Wed - Zumba, Thursday - legs, bums n tums. Got Body Blitz tomoz and gym induction an hour later. I have been checking scales and since exercise started on Tue I've lost nothing. I will keep it up though as I do intend being fitter as well as thinner. I hadn't realised just how unfit I was though until I started the classes but I'm told they will get easier with time, not convinced at mo.

MyJellybean · 09/08/2013 22:44

Well done Smokin that's great. I'm hoping to be in the 9s before I go away next weekend, need to lose 3lb though to get there.
