30 Day Shred - DVD just arrived ... anyone else about to start?!

Lovethesea · 22/06/2013 10:58

So, after all I've read, the DVD and the weights have arrived....

Later today I plan to begin.

In 30 days I will be toned, have lost this extra stone, feel awake instead of in need of a nap all the time ... etc etc etc.

Right now just getting through the first one would be a victory! Anyone else desperate and mad enough to be starting this....

Actually, just thinking back to how i looked at 3 weeks postpartum. Things naturally firmed up a bit without hard exercise. It was the 5 hobnobs with every tea for the following year that did the damage r Grin

Hope that last post comes across okay. [Blush]

Was trying to say not to worry to much just now.

no it's good advice- I have a running machine so I'm going to do a little bit of gentle jogging on that and go for walks with the buggy for 3 weeks before starting (after my 6 week check seems to be the general advice from NHS)

I know it's dumb I just want to get some of my body back! (or better..!)

Its not dumb. Definitely good to getget into gentle exercise sooner rather than later and have a plan of action. Maybe you could do pilates?

Thats L2d7 done. Woo hoo!

oo yeah, that would be good actually. My back has always been sore due to riding horses most of my life. I know pilates is very good for recovery type exercise.

I will get onto this shred thing though- friend of mine did it and she looks awesome- toned etc

Arghhhh!

Too tired before I started and struggled at a few bits. Will make an effort to get on with it first thing tomorrow before work.

Of the two replies nexus6 has received, both of them mention biscuits. Grin

L2d8 done.

I'm tempted to go to Boots today to face the scales of doom. Its been 10 Days since my last visit.

Hahaha I'm glad tbh, I was feeling guilty about my biscuit binge! Perfect breast food right?

smelmafingers · 04/08/2013 20:36

Chocolate hobnobs all the way Grin

Scales at Boots not working properly, so couldn't do the body fat mass measurement. Meh

HairyPotter · 04/08/2013 22:18

No, chocolate digestives are far better

L2D9 done! Thank god I only have 1 more day of that. Jillian is starting to annoy me. Natalie is clearly her favourite. Poor Anita is hardly getting any attention. I need to follow Anita! Grin

Good morning shreddies!

L2d9 done.

Not going to engage in a biscuit debate on a weight loss thread Grin

L2D10 done! No more L2 thank god.

L3D1 done.

Not my best effort as DS was lying on me or under me for most of it! It's gonna be pretty tough. Every move was difficult for me from the very start!

Good luck hairy Smile

Oh no! Is it really bad? I'm trying to decide if I should get it over with now, go for a run or sit in my jammies watching tv. I think you may have made my mind up for me Smelma

Hi again everyone! I fell off the thread after finishing the three levels.

Definitely agree that Natalie is the favourite, always felt sorry for Anita.

I've started doing 'No More Trouble Zones' and I am loving it! It's a 40 minute workout but mostly strength and abs. The only jumping jacks and jump rope are in the warm up.

Congratulations on your little one nexus!

40 mins sounds like an awfully long time Creepy
I'm planning on going back to the start and trying to follow Natalie when I get to the end of L3.

Talking of which.... It has broken me Sad my legs and bum are killing me this morning. I managed it fine yesterday, a few harder moves but not as much cardio I didn't think. All change this morning though. Ouch! I have a feeling it was the jumpy squats and the plié bits.

L3D2 will have to wait until after work or tomorrow

Hi creepy will have a look for that workout on youtube. Need to have a plan in place for the end of 30 day shred Shock

Just finished L3D2. 3rd attempt today as kids keep leaping on me now. Think i'll have to start working out in the evening. Not good.

Also, dont think my downstairs neighbour will like L3. Rockstar jumps make the house shake!

L3D3 done. Pretty heavy going on the knees, for sure! Definitely cant follow Natalie for the jump moves.

D4 tomorrow. That's when it gets easier isn't it. [Hopefull]
