Laundry, I feel your pain!
I simply cannot exercise anymore than I am doing nor eat better.

We can do this me lovely, oh yes!

RandallPinkFloyd · 27/06/2013 10:28

Yay to no nits. Grim evening granted but still, look on the bright side, you definitely don't have lice!

Doing a little girls hair would be the stuff of nightmares for me. I'm rubbish enough at doing my own. (Although my confidence has been buoyed significantly since my escapades with the MN haircut.) Don't worry about the wagon, plenty of room for stragglers, hop back on, no questions asked Wink

Toe thing just keeps getting more and more intriguing. You simply have to sneak us a picture, I'm dying to see it!

I'm in awe of all you exercisers, fitness and toning is going to do so much more for your health and looks than any amount of lbs loss will. You must all be looking fantastic. (I tried spinning once, it made me vomit.)

1.2lbs off for me yesterday so happy enough with that. Slightly less than the 1.3 a week I need to reach my goal by my birthday, but considering the weekend I had it's more than I deserve. Need to be really good for the next week so no Randalling whatsoever. I have the weekend-long wedding starting on the 5th so much preparation will be required!

Anyway, sorry I've missed you all (stupid work interfering with my life) but must dash as whilst I've been typing this I've had an email saying I've been picked for the Pampers trial. Love free stuff me!

Onwards and downwards chiefs Grin

DoubleMum · 27/06/2013 11:11

Well done Randall.
Lego my hairdresser told me it's fairly common for them to spot people with nits!
My birthday pressies have arrived - a set of kettlebells and a set of hand weights, both recommended on here I think. I shall have to do something later.

BsshBossh · 27/06/2013 11:18

Randall sterling work, as usual.

Double your weights have arrived, hurrah! Do you have a routine sorted yet?

Fasting today but really struggling because of TOM and also because I'm housebound awaiting a delivery. Really trying to stay resolute as it's my first official weightloss week in weeks.

DoubleMum · 27/06/2013 13:36

No I haven't had a chance yet, they came this morning and we are planting an apple tree today, it's blumming hard work!

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 27/06/2013 17:52

ooh weights and kettlebells Double, go you!
Well done Randall!

I have finished for the weekend Grin
A day of school assembly, grocery shopping and cleaning tomorrow Hmm Grin

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 27/06/2013 22:10

Congratulations Randall and well done - exciting stuff. Pampers trial. Oh, and well done on the weight loss.

SDP do you think you could sneak a picture? There has been little sporn on MN of late - perhaps you could set up a toecam and surprise DH with a squeeze of the toe. You know, just in case.

Oh nits. I hate the feckers. They appear at the most inconvenient moments and once there is a thought they might be amongst you - everyone gets the itch

Lizzy pass us the dyson. Another week passes when I sit at the same weight . I'm going to bin it for a couple of weeks and then hopefully when I'm back playing hockey and running the longer distances for the half marathon it will just melt off. Tomorrow I would normally fast but I'm driving oooop north with half the children. I don't think the combination of having to stop for a wee every service station, the wails of are we nearly there yet, the M6 on a Friday evening and my parents at the end of the journey is possible on an empty stomach.

I too am going to clean the house Lizzy and I'm going to run 12k if I can be arsed. I've also got to be charming tomorrow at lunch as I'm meeting some company that might want me to do some work for them .

Grump. Grump. Grump.

Double - I'm well impressed. I'd love my own kettle bells and weights. I'd be lunging all the time.

Bssh I find the week after TOM I have a bigger drop but I have never been able to get rid of anything that week. I used to star jump if I was hungry and have a peppermint tea even on TOM weeks. For some reason I seem to have lost the motivation.

Oh and DS, I would like to report, had a poo in a toilet at Bristol zoo today. This is such a step forward I feel my work with parenting is now done. [proud mum emoticon]

BsshBossh · 27/06/2013 22:39

Congratulations Master Tea on pooing in a public toilet. A major milestone indeed :)

DoubleMum · 28/06/2013 09:02

Tea send him to university now. He's ready.

BsshBossh · 28/06/2013 09:14

First official weigh in this morning since end of April. 0.6 lb lost. Happy with this as I didn't expect to lose anything due to no exercise and TOM. Cake and ice cream today I think :)

DoubleMum · 28/06/2013 10:47

Yay Bssh!

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 28/06/2013 12:33

Tea, perhaps you are at your right weight? Don't be so hard on yourself, you have been coping really well with your and dh's injuries.

Well done Bssh!

1lb down this week, bit measly considering effort made but hey ho!

How did I work ft, assembly done, gym done, shopping done, checked work emails, not started cleaning yet Hmm

DoubleMum · 29/06/2013 15:20

Yay, despite gaining a bit I tried on trousers which have never fitted me before (still had the tag on!) and they fit! They even look quite nice!

Well done Bssh and Lizzy on being losers Wink and well done Double on the NSV and your "new" trousers!

Chiefs, I am never fasting on a swimming night again (unless you more experienced people can tell me this will get better). My Thurs swimming sesh is a lesson; the other 3 people are all much fitter men, two of them are really big triathlete types so I do often lag behind but more or less hold my own. This Thursday only two of us turned up. One side of the lane each, no hiding place, basically forced to race one of the triathlete chaps Sad I nearly, genuinely, actually, fainted in the water. Ringing ears, flashing lights, the works. I did have AF too, but pretty sure it was the fasting as felt wrung out and exhausted. Weird, because I know lots of people can fast and exercise.

Anyway, 30 min lesson over, stayed in the pool for another 25 mins to do some slower lengths. Walked 1.5 miles home. By this time I am knackered but also Mrs McSmug from Smugsville having fasted and done all that work.

I get home, to find DH, who knew I was dieting but tbf not that I was fasting, had got takeaway pizza a veggie one and some of those nice cheesy jalapeños. His concession to my diet was that he had eaten most of both and left me a quarter pizza and 2 jalapeños.

Chiefs... I et the lot Blush Still ok on cals. So in the Buzzy household: from now on swimming and fasting don't happen on the same day and DH gets warned told when I'm fasting!

Oh and I got a bollocking from my swimming teacher for fasting too Blush

buzzybuzzybeeshoes · 29/06/2013 16:11

Oh and [chiefly hug] for Tea - you've done so well to keep on track. It will happen! Once you're exercising again it'll fly off.

DoubleMum · 29/06/2013 21:32

I am in awe Buzzy. But no, don't do it again on swimming day.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 30/06/2013 04:41

Yay for Double's trousers Smile
Buzzy you must be careful, that is a heck of a lot of exercise to be doing on a fast day.

I am going swimming this morning, can't make gym as need to be back early and they don't open till 9am. Am being a Pirate on a carnival float. Terrific Confused

No idea why I am up now. Well I do, combo of dh's snoring and noisy birds outside.
Used to be going to bed at this time Grin

buzzybuzzybeeshoes · 30/06/2013 12:30

Lizzy why are you being a pirate on a float? Or is it because you just arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [gets coat]

Lizzylou · 30/06/2013 14:10

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Buzzy

RandallPinkFloyd · 30/06/2013 19:16

Well fuck me sideways. The pants of motivation - they fit!

I honestly can't remember the last time I wore size 12 jeans. Even before I was fat I was always a 14.

I also just bought 6 tops, all size 12. I only went shopping because last night's surprise Randall caused a bit of a panic when I realised that after trying on most of my clothes they're almost all too big, even the 14's Shock

I tried on one pair of jeans in Tesco (classy I know but I really can't afford to be replacing all my clothes!) and they were too big! I know it's vanity sizing and they're just trying to flatter me so I spend more but I couldn't give a shit. I'm a size 12. I never dreamed I would be able to say that 6 months ago.

So thank you chiefs, thank you, thank you, thank you. Each and every one of you rocks very hard Thanks

Lizzylou · 30/06/2013 20:09

Woohoo Randall Grin
How fab do you feel?
Wonderful work chief Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

BsshBossh · 30/06/2013 20:31

Randall whoooopppp whooooooooooooop Flowers Wine! Amazing work Chief.

RandallPinkFloyd · 30/06/2013 20:38

I feel fricking marvellous, I can't lie Grin

It's all still a bit wobbly but the high waisted jeans have helped that immensely!

How was your day as a sea fairer? Learn any new shanties?

Lizzylou · 30/06/2013 20:46

We won best fliat and got to soak people with water pistols.
