He sounds fabulous darling! Grin

Hopefully I'll have lost a little bit this week as I've had some pretty low days too but only one proper fast and Saturday turned into a surprisgly high calorie Randall even for me. Damn you crisps you deceptively delicious, fiendishly more-ish, salty bastards

However I have set a new goal and it's a doozy so I really need to get on it if I'm going to get there.

I've worked out that if I can lose 1.5lbs per week I'll be at my goal for my birthday which is the first week of August. It's a big ask because I know it's going to slow down now but it would be the best present ever so I'm really going to go for it.

My friend bought mea half bottle of champagne for Christmas that I decided to save and open when I hit my goal. It would be bloody awesome to open it on my birthday.

Lizzylou · 11/06/2013 19:47

I have every faith that you will get there Randall, no doubt in my mind at all Smile

DoubleMum · 11/06/2013 20:26

Really I think to reach goal you ought to eat more cheese Randall.

OP posts:
BsshBossh · 11/06/2013 20:31

Woohoo Randall, what a goal! I think you'll make it too Smile.

Lizzy am loving the image of your glitterhead boy!

Lizzylou · 11/06/2013 20:47

I bloody needed your arm muscles to get it all out, Bssh!Grin
Curses that my boys are clones of me and not blonde Dh Grin

Aah, he is fab. Would love to spend a day inside his head!

Sooo, Randall, Birthday party round at yours then? We can wear slinky dresses and drink water. Or drink champagne and eat cheese?

RandallPinkFloyd · 11/06/2013 20:51

Cheese, always cheese.

Lizzylou · 11/06/2013 20:52

A woman after my own heart, Randall Smile
And Welsh to boot.

BsshBossh · 11/06/2013 20:53

We have a bottom fridge drawer full of cheese stinking the house out. Leftovers from DD's birthday weekend. I am in heaven! But currently accepting no visitors as truly our house stinks!

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/06/2013 22:05

CHEESE AND CHAMPAGNE?

Great goal Randall I think you'll get there. Hell. Yeah.

Bssh ... yey. I love your updates. And I am in awe of your training programme. I want to be doing that

OMG Lizzy can't believe I never thought of that for a night out or a particularly dull client meeting. If your DS's hair was on Pinterest I would pin it as inspiration.

11 days Tiger. Whooooooooop

I have fasted and challenged swollen ankle with a very gentle cross train and weights that don't involve a lunge. Tis quite sore.

Seems that we are playing ankle top trumps in our house. DH won this round with a broken ankle. So we are both cosily sat elevating lamenting Game of Thrones has finished.

Randall I'm not sure it's the sports' fault. I suspect it's more a problem with us and our inability to recognise that we're actually old feckers and quoits, bowling and golf are more appropriate than rugby and hockey. But, on account of the fact he's more stupid than me as he's older and broken it, I will be returning before the month is out!

Think I'll be running that half marathon by myself on my birthdayWink

dinkydoos · 11/06/2013 23:09

You know one big reason why being able to eat cheese whilst low carbing isn't all it's cracked up to be? Crackers aren't allowed!.

Cheese begs for a crisp cracker or a hunk of baguette. And maybe a bit of chutney...
Think I should just get my coat....

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/06/2013 10:07

Well, that shows what happens when you get complacent. Less than a quarter of a pound off this week.

I'm absolutely furious with myself. I could scream honestly, just one more fast day would have made the difference. Gahh Angry One thing's for sure, it won't be happening again.

I now need to lose 1.6lb per week to get to my goal so no room for dicking about now.

I've lost every week since we started but this one was a seriously close call, not happy at all

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 11:43

It's still a loss, and it will get harder now you have so much less to lose.
Plus look how dedicated it's made you now!
You can still make your goal, I have absolute faith in you.

Lizzylou · 12/06/2013 11:54

Randall you are getting greedy (for loss, not cheese!) Grin

As Double says, losses will slow down now. Just chill and keep motivated.

And perhaps stop at 10 cheeses? Wink

Am bloated with water retention and have backache. I am a moody old bag today!

LaundryLegoLunch · 12/06/2013 12:34

Now Randall young lady, stop all this negative talk. A loss is still a loss, you knew you weren't going to have a big loss this week and this has proved to us that you are human after all Grin.

I bet you lose 10lbs next week Wink

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 15:13

Hmm I may need a venus fly trap too.
I confess I have made cookie dough today to feed the hordes at the weekend. It's sitting in a bowl in the fridge being satanic. Randall you are not allowed within a 50 mile radius just in case some seeps out.

Sorry, meant to commiserate on the ankle exercise Tea, but just think of all that extra stair-climbing calorie burn!

OOh, lets all like it!

tea, you poor crocked pair! Be gentle on yourself though, don't aggravate your injury!

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/06/2013 18:27

But, but, but, waaaaaah
Sad Sad Sad Sad

RandallPinkFloyd · 12/06/2013 18:36

Anyway, yes, you are of course all right. It's a loss so that's all that matters. Plus I know why it's such a small loss and know what I need to do to fix it. Hardly a giant disaster in the grand scheme of things but dammit I am not human Tiger, I am Randall, I do not fail. (Is it obvious I have issues with perfectionism at all?)

Sorry you're feeling rubbish Lizzy, hope you feel better tomorrow.

Tea you sound like you blinking well deserve cake!

Double how you stay on track doing all that baking I will never know!

Onwards and downwards you wonderful chiefs. [weak-still-slightly-pitiful-smile]

Lizzylou · 12/06/2013 20:14

Grin at sulky Randall
You will do this, you are a one woman weight loss machine!

Spinning was fab, new speedier bikes. Then did 10mins of pilates abs to ease my poorly womb.

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 20:19

Help, my Fitbit is taking calories off me cos I'm sitting down! Most peculiar.

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 20:20

Or maybe it knows I'm on Pinterest looking at food?

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 20:43

I just walked round and round the kitchen and it gave me 2 calories back. It's quite stressful, feels like it's spying on me! Bet Obama knows what I'm doing by now.
