Just keep moving double, with fitbit you are going to have to do everything 'on the move'Grin

Chiefs I am aching, my legs have been shredded and I am thankful I don't live at teas house with 3 flights of stairs...I can't cope with the one set at my own place. If I ever go off the rails again, remind me of this pain from re starting the shred. Jumping Jack and Jump Rope hell.

I'm just going to say what has already been said Randall, you will be opening that champagne on your birthday. We all know you can reach your goal by then....you might have to dust off Jillian to help you on your way though!

I need to get to bed, work tomorrow plus it's going to take some time and effort to get up the stairs.

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 20:54

Before I had knee replacements SDP, sometimes the only way to get up the stairs was on all 4s. Hope it doesn't hurt too much tomorrow for you.
I had to do some jogging on the spot in the kitchen to get my calories back. The rabbits thought I was crazy and couldn't imagine how it didn't involve giving them treats.

Lizzylou · 12/06/2013 20:54

Grin at Double's fascist bullyboy fitbit!
SPD, the thighs always ache after a Jillian workout, killer. You know it will be better soon, though.

SylviaDaisyPouncer · 12/06/2013 21:08

I'm hoping by Sunday my thighs will have given up complaining lizzy. I won't do any shred tomorrow as I'm on my feet all day at work, but back to it Friday, Saturday, Sunday. That will be halfway through level 1 so I should be coping slightly better!

Grin at you jogging on the spot double and the rabbits being allConfused.

DoubleMum · 12/06/2013 21:22

TBF to the bunnies me jogging on the spot is a rare and strange sight indeed. Bound to be a bit confusing. If I have to make a habit of it I definitely need some kind of different bra too!
Luckily my fitbit is not such a bully as Jillian yet. My thighs are safe.

BsshBossh · 13/06/2013 08:07

SDP I've found doing 15 mins of stretching (working all major muscle groups) after my weights sessions has really helped minimise soreness.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 13/06/2013 14:11

Now that is excellent advice from Bssh. Unfortunately I can never be arsed to stretch but have worked out that it's like creation in the bible by the eighth day I'm kind of ok.

I'm hoping to be back to Jillian at the weekend - using her as a precursor to running. Well, when I say hoping clearly I'm hoping I win the lottery more.

That fitbit sounds a bit needy and demanding Double - that's the sort of gadget I would tend to put in a drawer if it irritated me too much. I squat jump in the kitchen for calories ... I'm just really glad I don't have any bunnies to watch.

RandallPinkFloyd · 13/06/2013 17:36

Gosh you are all so blimmin fit!

The Fitbit sounds perfect for me, if I had a little gadget bollocking me every day I might actually do something!

My brief period of panic is thankfully over. Did a fast yesterday and another 1.2lb has come off so that makes 1.4lb altogether. Not the 1.6 I need but not too far off.

Good job I wasn't too melodramatic about it eh!

Lizzylou · 13/06/2013 17:46

Grin Randall.
No, not needy at all. We didn't even know you were bothered Wink

Not weighing this week, don't want to get despondent. I normally put on between 4-7lbs when on period, even with herbal water relief shizz. Tablets are deffo helping with pain and other stuff. So that's something.

DoubleMum · 13/06/2013 18:24

Panic, what panic Randall? I thought you were a radiating ball of calm.
Lizzy glad you're getting some pain relief, sounds a bit grim Sad.

I've had to do loads of house stuff today so the fitbit hasn't shouted at me yet, but it might start nicking calories off me now I've sat down. Not sure I can do any jogging in the kitchen tonight though, my legs hurt from being on my feet all day. If I want to do it, now is my chance as the bunnies are asleep looking cute rather than incredulous.

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 13/06/2013 19:43

I know, I hide it too well sometimes.

Sorry you're feeling so rubbish Lizzy but glad the tablets are helping. God damn you hormones!

I really do like the sound of this Fitbit thingy Double, are they expensive? It sounds like just the ticket for a lazy arse like me. It's like a pocket Jillian. Plus you can swear directly at it. I've found people are less tollerant of that than they should be if they're going to whoop at you.

DoubleMum · 13/06/2013 19:51

I confess it was very expensive and my face looked like Shock and Hmm when I opened the package and saw how tiny it was. But actually it's only tiny so you can completely forget that you're wearing it and therefore put it in the washing machine attached to your trousers.
I got the Fitbit One which was £80, because that's how much my lovely PILs usually spend on me for my birthday. (Aren't they lovely? Flowers)
There is both a cheaper and a more expensive version I think. I've just seen a Fitbit Zip for £35 on ebay. They sync to your smartphone (but not a blackberry which I have) and you can connect to MFP too. It all just happens wirelessly without you having to do anything but charge it occasionally. I'm a bit scared of it.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 13/06/2013 20:28

I had a look on the website Double, they do look fab.
I do hate being a woman sometimes, mostly 10 days a month. At least heaviness and pain has diminished. Mood and water retention not so much Grin
I am contemplating a job move, possibly even complete change of careers. Will wait until next week when less hormonal to move forward though!

SylviaDaisyPouncer · 13/06/2013 20:58

The thighs are bearable today Chiefs! I think going back for more punishment yesterday helped, a good soak in the tub seemed to work miracles too. I will however be doing as bssh says and stretching a lot more after each shred. I am going to crack the 30 day shred, though its clearly going to take longer than 30 days. After my holiday I will put some research into my next Jillian torture regime.

Well done on the loss Randall, still on track for your goalSmile.

Very interested in your fitbit antics double, it does sound quite scary in an all-knowing kind of way. Hope you took advantage of the bunnies slumber to get in a quick jogging session around the kitchen! Amazing all the stuff it can do, modern technology eh?

Fasted today even though I was making strawberry shortcakes for afternoon tea at work. Made do with smelling them. I must win a prize for willpower surely?

Dh golfing this evening and after about 2 hours sleep last night thanks to dd, I shall be off to bed soon. Just going to call my sister who is due to be induced Saturday unless she gets a move on tomorrow. She really wanted a homebirth but its not looking likely. Hope she is currently bouncing on her birthing ball like crazy.

Lizzylou · 13/06/2013 22:22

Omg, channel 4 now, sex toy stories pg. How many calories would love eggs burn on fitbit dya reckon?. Confused
One woman has gone to the supermarket with a remote control vibrator in and list the remote.
Blimey.
Perhaps this is where I am going wrong? ?
There is a pensioner talking about cock rings? Shock

Bloody hell. I think I am quite naive!

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 13/06/2013 22:34

That sounds better than the fake science research about cats.

But I haven't wasted 10 minutes of my life and now have the answer.

Hey Double .... fitbit on a cat in the evening.

You are welcome Wink

Now sex toys at the supermarket you say ....

RandallPinkFloyd · 13/06/2013 22:34

Blimey, that all sounds a bit much. I'm tucked up in bed in my jammies!

I didn't know Fitbit had a website. I shall peruse tomorrow.

Glad the thighs are recovering SPD Smile

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 13/06/2013 22:43

And new baby

If she needs help, I can be there in a couple of hours SDP.

Glad the legs are ok. I too fasted and baked .... summer, all fruity with lollipops, cupcakes. I too would like a medal.

I have had gin on a fast day because I was the grumpiest I've been in a decade earlier. I am now brilliant on account of small tea and big gin.

Randall just Grin, you lovely gaw-jus big loser you.

Lizzylou · 13/06/2013 22:53

Gin is good, Tea.
Sex toys are undignified, least ways on ch4. Your neighbours/colleagues/parents at school gate can watch as you design one?!
I couldn't do that to my boys!
It has to be easier than spinning though, Confused

Off to buy a fitbit whilst perusing Ann Summers website.

Lizzylou · 13/06/2013 22:55

Sorry SDP, completely forgot to mention your new nephew/niece, how exciting. Am having lunch with a 2 week old tomorrow. And her Mom, obv.

DoubleMum · 14/06/2013 08:01

I don't have a cat. Could put it on a rabbit I suppose. Of the furry kind, not referring to previous sex toy conversation! Definitely not something I want to get involved in at the supermarket.

Good luck to your sis SDP

OP posts:
SylviaDaisyPouncer · 14/06/2013 09:15

No news of new nephew yet. Last chance for dsis to get him out today. Looks like he will be a Devonian and not a little Cornish baby (home=Cornwall, hospital= Devon). As long as they are both okay it really doesn't matter, not that I have said that to her as she is nearly 2 weeks over and hormonalSmile.

I have to admit to not being a very good sister during her pregnancy. Trying to make up for it now my head is straight and I have accepted my family is complete. I know she understands as she has been there through my ttc and miscarriages. However I should have pushed my jealousy to one side and been happy for her. Thankfully I am in a much better place now.

Still, enough of that. I weighed today and its goodbye to the 12 stones, hello top end 11 stone!! On a mission to make the 11's a short stay. As lizzy says I'm on it like sonic!!

Sorry, all I've been going on about is me. Will go and shred now and come back full of those happy positive vibes...

Lizzylou · 14/06/2013 09:30

Awww SDP, you sound a wonderful sister and Aunty to be, but yes, a human one! Big love and baby vibes to your sister today, keep us updated.
And well done on the loss!

Double, it was most disconcerting last night. It never ceases to amaze me what people share/do on TV. There was a woman older than my Mom designing a sex suit Shock

Feeling less bloated today, abs feel v good after all that pilates. Just the pouch at the bottom that is stubbornly still there and not really getting any better Hmm

DoubleMum · 14/06/2013 10:05

Do I want to know what a sex suit is? Probably not I think.
If I ever get rid of my blubber, I think I will always have a pouch as I have a massive shelf over my c-sec scar. Ugh. I've never really looked into pilates, I think it put me off cos my grandma was very into it (she was a very new age grandma). She had a way of putting you off things!

Sorry your sis's pregnancy was hard for you SDP, our brains can be difficult little beasts can't they? Hopefully you'll be getting lots of auntie cuddles soon (the kind that don't involve sleepless nights!). I have 6 nephews and 2 nieces (although haven't seen 1 since she was 2 as her mum abducted her to Spain and Interpol haven't managed to get her back) and auntie cuddles are lovely. I have my 2 littlest nephews coming this weekend though and slightly fear for the bunnies' safety. Might have to put them outside a lot so they don't get squished.

Today it is my mission to NOT eat any of the cookies I baked yesterday. Please remind me I am NOT to eat even 1, because 1 leads to more than 1.

OP posts:
TheTigerDidntComeToTea · 14/06/2013 10:48

Sylvia - oh how lovely, a new nephew (today hopefully!) Your sister will definitely understand. It's so hard sometimes, but as you said you're in a better place now and you'll soon have a lovely new nephew to squeeze (gently, of course!) and snuggle! And well done on the loss. Smile

Tea - you made me snort at the fitbit on cat suggestion, my dilemma now is whether to explain the reason for the hilarity to my colleagues?? Grin

Lizzy - should I watch that on catch up? Or will it scare me. Maybe that's why some people are so weird in the supermarket, you'll always wonder now, do you think it made a noise though? Am I thinking about it too much? Blush

Randall - sorry I missed the drama, but glad everything back on track!Wink

Double - the fitbit sounds exciting and a bit demanding at the same time. I do like a gadget to play with though! Enjoy your weekend with your nephews, DON'T eat the cookies! Hope the bunnies survive the excitement! Smile

Its our 10th wedding anniversary today. I was getting all nostalgic last night and looked out some photos, we both look so young (and slim...). Still, I wouldn't have it any other way! Kids are away for a sleepover and we're going out for dinner. But as I'm a chief I shall fast today, enjoy my dinner and make sure I behave all weekend. Wink

(got a bit carried away with the smilies! Blush)
