Well done on the run tabby.
Glad you resisted cake, double.
How is ds, Randall?
Kali, water retention, deffo.

Have perked up, went to kettlecise. Was the bonkers woman. She was at one point feigning orgasm during an exercises then we did cool down to stripper music. With the actions. I do prefer the more serious instructor but a bit of a giggle was what I needed tonight.

Lizzylou · 25/03/2013 20:54

Oh and tiger, being cold burns Shit loads of calories! Back on the wagon for you now!

BambieO · 25/03/2013 22:02

I'm back! I lost you all! Have regained my focus.

How is everyone getting on today?

RandallPinkFloyd · 25/03/2013 22:26

Glad you're feeling better Lizzy, although I'm a little concerned about this stripper business. I know we're doing this to feel confident about our bodies but just hold on there, don't be buying no pole or nuffin'.

kali, 2lb you say, well let's see. We know from our earlier experiment that the average turd weighs 0.8lb so if you're bunged up it will probably be more, plus TOM is always a bloatmeister. By next week it will all have evened out. Think no more about it.

The wagon pulled over earlier Bambie, we've saved you a seat Wink

DS is asleep for now but I'm not optimistic it will stay that way. I have another thread going about my multiple tales of woe so I won't bore you with them here. Suffice to say, I have much woe.

Onwards and downwards chiefs!

kalidanger · 26/03/2013 06:55

Thanks Randall Sorry about your woe Sad Can't stalk search as on phone but I hope you're getting towards resolution.

Still bunged up here Shock Had two senna tabs before bed but no movement on my movements Shock

DoubleMum · 26/03/2013 08:00

Kali for 2 lbs I think you need to do 2.4 poos. Hope that helps.
Sorry about woe Randall. Will look for thread.

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 26/03/2013 08:23

2.4 lbs off, so 24 lbs gone now. Not that I can tell.

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 26/03/2013 08:37

Wowzers, bloody well done you Grin

BambieO · 26/03/2013 08:41

Wow double that is fab!

randall sorry for your troubles, will see if I can find your other thread and be of any use

Lizzylou · 26/03/2013 09:23

Well done Double! Excellent Smile

Have been showing girls at work how Kettlecise Lady was faking orgasm whilst doing side sit up thingies. Very funny. She is bonkers as conkers.

Tired this morning, when will the ice and snow go???
It is SPRING!

kalidanger · 26/03/2013 09:53

Double Well done! If you can't tell where the 24lbs have gone you need to scare up someone nice who you haven't seen for a while and get the "Oh wow! Look at you!" stuff IRL! Grin

I am definitely due 2.4 poos up in here. Squeaked out a couple of pips this am only Sad Had a banana and working my way through the first of two 350g supermarket fresh fruit cocktail. Would prefer not to poomp at work really but past caring Grin

Lizzy I had to google 'Kettlecise' as no idea - it's about what the ball/handle thing looks like, right Grin

Lizzylou · 26/03/2013 13:45

Grin yes Kali, they are called Kettlebells (I had no idea before either! Thought it was extreme tea drinking!).

Insanity is being copied as we speak! EEK!

Hopefully will be able to do the fit test this evening all being well.
Not going to follow the programme as a 60day every day thing, just to supplement my existing stuff.

BsshBossh · 26/03/2013 14:36

Fantastic loss Double :) Lizzy you are a machine Grin.

I am working at home, the thermostat is on at 23 degrees, I'm in my thermals and loads of layers, I've been to the gym and sweated well, and I'm still bloody freeeeeeeezing Angry. My fingers are so cold I'm struggling to type. My DD cries at bathtime because she's too cold to undress. When will the weather warm up?????

Thank goodness today is a normal eating day. Am a bit apprehensive about Easter - we have a house full of guests and chocolate but I still want to fast and/or calorie restrict. Will have to work on a strategy.

Lizzylou · 26/03/2013 14:56

Oh Bssh, it's so horrid this weather.
Kudos to you for even planning on fasting over Easter!

I also thought of you last night, have ordered the "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess" by Cassandra Forsythe. That was the book the Mner raved about and have been looking at MFP forums, was 2nd hand for £10 delivered on Amazon.

I am intrigued and always like a bit of a variety in my exercise!

LillethTheCat · 26/03/2013 15:19

This thread has moved on a bit since I last posted yesterday morning. Actually seriously considering getting myself to my running club tonight Shock I know I should go, but its cold. I know I will feel better for going too, but its cold. Ive put in my meals for today and I am over my calories so I should go, but its cold. Do you get the picture Grin waits for someone to tell me I'll warm up once I get going

Tiger I have got options in, but bubbly hot chocolate is soooo much nicer. That wagon is ready for you to jump back on at any point, and apparently you do burn more calories when cold another reason for me to go running tonight

Double Well done on the loss

Tabby well done on getting out running I should follow suit

Kal in a really weird way I hope you poo soon. Listen to us back to talking poo's

Right so am I going to get out for a run tonight. I need to, I should do, I will feel better if I go. Deep down inside Im not convinced I will go. Its soooo much warmer staying inside keeping warm.

DoubleMum · 26/03/2013 15:22

Lilleth you'll warm up once you get going. Grin

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 26/03/2013 15:41

Lilleth, I made DH go last night (he is training for a triathlon and hates running Hmm). He wore a hat and gloves (and shorts, bonkers!). He said it was cold but was so glad he went.

GO!

kalidanger · 26/03/2013 15:49

Thanks Lilleth Grin We're also talking about poo and Farts of Death on the Champix thread Grin

BambieO · 26/03/2013 17:47

Plus I heard a whisper you burn more calories in the cold lilleth not sure how true it is?

dinkydoos · 26/03/2013 18:20

Awesome double you must be delighted!
Had total blow out weekend as had night away with mates, sans kids!
Back on it now, but now have broken boiler and it's blardy freezing. Want pie!
Onwards and downwards... ( tries to convince herself)
Haven't really been weighing as don't think I've lost really but def more toned.
Will maybe brave scales this week if having a thin day, I think you always know don't you?

BambieO · 26/03/2013 18:22

I think you do dinky but then again my mum is doing weight watchers and she had a bad few days so thought she would gain and still lost 1 1/2 pounds. Even when you are being 'bad' I think the guilt we feel now we are consciously trying to eat healthily burns the calories Grin

dinkydoos · 26/03/2013 18:44

Ooh bambie if guilt was a calorie burner, that would be very handy Grin

BsshBossh · 26/03/2013 19:51

Lizzy I have the NROLFW. It's excellent (though I won't be following the nutrition bit as it contradicts my intermittent fasting thing) and it's something I will aspire to. First I will start with machines and build up my strength that way before tackling dumbells, barbells, bodyweight exercises. But I think you "Lizzy the machine" Grin could plunge right in!

LillethTheCat · 26/03/2013 20:53

Went to running club Grin I knew it would be good for me. Only ran about 3 miles though, but thats still 300 calories off my total for today and I am under my goal.

Just been googling the theory that you burn more calories when it's cold and I think actually that if you are cold you shiver and its the shivering that burns the extra calories, not just that its cold. If you are cold you are more likely to move around therefore burning calories. So its likely that if you are exercising during cold weather you are not really burning any more calories than usual Sad Then again for the 5 articles I skim-read there might be another 10 that says you actually do burn more calories exercising in cold weather.

Wonder how many calories typing on a laptop uses Grin

Tomorrow its walking to the Dr and back again so thats 500 calories there Grin

BambieO · 26/03/2013 21:37

Typing must be at least 500 Grin

That's interesting about the cold, might try a run tomorrow and see if it encourages me to keep moving
