Sorry for the late start to this thread. I had an appointment at my gym for an induction this morning.

If you haven't already, put yourself on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Good luck for the week!

OMG! I'm a regular waxer, but only do the trimmings! I couldn't bear the thought of bearing all to someone just for a wax! I know I flashed everything when giving birth, but that was a bit different Grin

Sorry. No idea why my laptop wanted to post that twice. Unless it was sharing in my Shock

Well I went to Tesco earlier to get some supplies. There was one bottle of the Sauv Blanc that we like that is on offer at the moment left on the shelf. I put it in my basket and it proceeded to break and spill wine all over the leg of my trousers. Do you think this is fete telling me that I shouldn't be drinking wine tonight perchance? Grin Anyway, then had to immediately go to pick the kids up from an after-school activity and then drive DD and one of her friends to a party, smelling like an absolute wino!

An accidental hollywood wax is priceless! Does DH know you were going in the first place or will it be a total surprise?

bulletwithbutterflywings · 08/02/2013 17:14

It will be a surprise, Confused he is used to fairly lax maintenance in that department too - not that he complains!

bulletwithbutterflywings · 08/02/2013 17:17

Sorry posted too soon!
Oh dear wino mummy isn't a good look! I had someone else drop and smash a bottle of red right next to my leg in Tesco once - I was not best pleased! At least I was wearing rubber flip flops and ancient jeans I suppose...

ChoosandChipsandSealingWax · 08/02/2013 17:20

Sorry bullet but am crying with laughter on that one!

School quiz night tonight. Have volunteered to mark so that I have to stay relatively sober.

Have packed olives for snack and the supper is fish and chips so will say no to the chips, peel off the batter and currently cooking myself spinach and broccoli to have on the side, with some delicious leftover basil buttery sauce from the freezer but let's see how I do with the free (because I'm marking) prosecco

Rollergirl1 · 08/02/2013 17:21

Bullet: I'd be tempted not to say anything to DH and just saunter around naked and wait till he clocks it. Heh heh.

BIWI: Oh once you've flashed yer bits to the first poor unsuspecting beauty therapist you never go back! I have no shame when it comes to that kind of thing. I figure they've seem a million hairy mary's so one more (mine) can't do any harm....

ChoosandChipsandSealingWax · 08/02/2013 17:22

And roller Grin

Kiriwawa · 08/02/2013 17:24

Blimey bullet - you're brave! :o

Good luck on the zumbathon tomorrow Black - I will also sponsor if you post the details again.

I have end of tether moments with DS too. It's got a bit better now he's older - I think school's helped. I find immediate sanctions and longer term bribes very good. I do 2 week charts where we tick off every day when he's managed to achieve something and at the end of the 2 weeks he gets something. Last time it was a Lego set he really wanted, this time we haven't even discussed what it is so I hope he isn't disappointed by the Club Penguin annual I got in the Waterstones sale :o

Sorry about your trainer BIWI - I can understand how you feel. Maybe he feels dumped by you too?

I can work at Gatwick if people are up for a weekday lunch thing :)

bulletwithbutterflywings · 08/02/2013 17:44

Haha Roller that sounds like a good idea!

MrsHoolie · 08/02/2013 17:49

I'm really into Rooibos tea now,and I much prefer it to the herbal/fruit teas.
My nearly 3yo is such hard work at the moment,it's so exhausting. I'm on the train going to work now which is a nice break!

Someone was asking about sweetener for the tiffin....I bought Stevia. I think Splenda is ok on this WOE. The tiffin recipe is a tiny portion. I doubled it and it was still only half a ramekin's worth!BIWI any idea of the carb count for the tiffin recipe?

B- half an avocado
L-big salad with tuna mayo
T-crust less quiche and sausages
Snack-handful of nuts and the odd teaspoon of peanut butter.

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 17:51

Here is the link to my sponsor page, if anyone would like to sponsor my madness Grin

Takeaway here tonight too, going for dry ribs, double roasted pork & chicken.

JustasmallGless · 08/02/2013 17:51

Bullet PMSL!
While you are in oversharing mode please tell us what your DH reaction is!

Black - I'll sponsor you too. good luck with your Zumbathon

BIWI - give him a ring and see what he has managed to sort out.

Feeling very sorry for myself with a horrible cold (and staying away from a horrible thread which is bugging me. Its bugging me that I am allowing it to bother me iyswim!) Off to Pinterest to browse some lowcarb recipes. Will post if I find anything nice.

You southerners are all too far away Sad
Maybe we should have a meet up on the same day/night in various locations and Skype or FaceTime so we can see each other and wave?!

B - Cheese and mushroom omelette
L - Celeriac, leek and courgette soup
D - Sausage casserole and celeriac mash

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 17:57

Thanks Gless. I think I am closeish to you, location wise? Im sure there were a couple of other east/NW scots here too.

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 17:58

Hope you feel better soon :(

JustasmallGless · 08/02/2013 18:00

Black - my mum and dad live up there and I have met up with Toomuch who isn't far from you so next time I'm up north I'll give you a shout!
Unfortunately I'm near Manchester so bit far for a day trip - miss seeing my family

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 18:01

Aaah! Knew there was a connection somewhere :)

EwanHoozami · 08/02/2013 18:02

that was a bloody good idea to go to the zoo. I now have two knackered and happy small people and I got to look at super-cute lion cubs. Thank you for the boot up the bum.

bullet how on earth do you have an accidental Hollywood wax? I assume you were in an actual beauty salon at the time? Grin

mumat39 I totally get that 'cycle of crying' thing. DS just can't soothe himself when he's in a state so we've started practicing some breathing exercises to calm him down. He usually wants to stop but just physically can't.

I don't drink really but I really fancied the smell of G&T so have a tumbler of slim tonic with lime and lots of ice. It's Friday!

NoelHeadbands · 08/02/2013 18:03

Hey all, missed loads of posts sorry, hope everyone is ok

I'll sponsor you this evening Black, good luck with it.

I'm Yorksher so too far away for a southern meet up Sad

Rollergirl1 · 08/02/2013 18:09

Could my day get any worse??! I just went in to the fridge to get DS (who is now in totes adorable mode, funnily enough) some ketchup and I just so happened to knock a pot of 600ml double cream on to the floor. You know when you see something happening in slow motion and you are powerless to do anything about it?

Well, I'm so totally over today that I can do nothing but laugh.

Looks like DH will be stopping off at Tesco on his way home for Wine and Double cream. Wink

Black: Good luck with your Zumbathon tomorrow!

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 18:15

Im just painting my nails bright pink Grin the zumbathon has a pink theme for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and I also have pink & black ribbons for my hair, and a specially printed tshirt with my Zumba instructors logo on it. Im not brave enough to wear the tutus and legwarmers some of the others plan to wear!

BlackAffronted · 08/02/2013 18:15

Poor you Roller :( Enjoy your wine :)

Lavenderhoney · 08/02/2013 18:16

I was starting to catch up on all the posts when I got distracted by a Hollywood by accident:) it has happened to me too- I went for a Brazilian, thought it looked dreadful with the landing strip and told her to take it all off.. Last time I got one was just before getting prgt with dd, and before that ds, so not doing that again:)

Im giving up coffee again tomorrow. It affects my drinking lots of water as I tend to have one instead as its in the machine and ready.

B - eggs and bacon
L- roast chicken, roasted turnips, few carrots.
D- vegetable soup which was lush until dh mentioned he had used up all the lentils making it. I'm hoping this won't be too much of a disaster.

Am I supposed to weigh myself more than just on Monday's?

Black- good luck with the Zumba:)

Fingers crossed dd sleeps tonight.
