Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

Buzzy Grin how about run up and down stairs to collect the thing you have told DS to get 3 times already? Double calories if you have two flights of stairs like I do.

Well done on doing up the coat Double and bending over Tea. I also have a coat that won't do up, think it'll be a few more weeks before I'll achieve that one.

I agree that whatever exercise you do, if you want it to be sustainable, you must enjoy it. To that end, contrary to everyone's advice on here, I have cancelled my gym membership. Grin I am enjoying doing DVDs at home much more and have decided to do C25K as well when the weather is a bit better
I feel as if a weight has been lifted, as the guilt of spending £60 per month and not using it was getting to me. Now to decide what to spend the £60 on....

RandallPinkFloyd · 05/02/2013 12:45

Good for you Wise, the idea of exercise being a chore is really not motivational is it! If. You've found something you enjoy then all's good.

You're £60 per month saving could go in the pot for all your new skinny clothes Smile

dinkydoos · 05/02/2013 13:49

stout and sturdy dancer ??? That's soooooo funny!!!

WiseKneeHair · 06/02/2013 08:47

Ok, I need to share.
I'm sorry, I know it's TMI, but
I NEED TO POO
Feel all bloated and horrible. Tried dulcolax last night, no effect. Found a packet of senna this morning but it was an empty packet! So I have had a sachet of fybogel, expiry date May 2012. Grin if that fails, I'm gonna have some of DS3 a movicol.
Sorry for over sharing, but better you lot than my work colleagues.

BsshBossh · 06/02/2013 09:10

Oh no Wise, it's a horrid feeling isn't it. Hope you get some movement soon.

Lizzylou · 06/02/2013 09:17

Oh Wise!
Lots of fruit today?

Hope it eases. Horrid feeling!

nilbyname · 06/02/2013 09:32

Wise...assume the position, squat as low ads you can go and rock on your feet. Then stand up and walk about. Then get on the floor on all fours and stick your bottom up in the air. Get up. Then lay on your back, raise up your legs and get your bum off the ground.

That might work.

I have lost a total of 8 pounds in just under a month. I am so pleased!!

buzzybuzzybeeshoes · 06/02/2013 10:08

LOL at "stout and sturdy dancer" and I NEED TO POO Grin

wise if you were one of the linseed-buyers from earlier, scoff a tablespoon of those and a pint of water. It'll be out like a five-year-old down an aquaslide Wink

Fab loss nilby!

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 06/02/2013 10:46

Prunes!!!! My ex next door neighbour drank prune juice every day. When she went on holiday she even took it in her suitcase.

Well done Nilby!

BsshBossh · 06/02/2013 12:38

Fantastic nilby well done!

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 06/02/2013 19:39

Whoop Nilby

Wise may your little problem have worked itself out and I vote for new clothes. I have told myself if I get another 5lbs off I will be buying new underwear. Some of my bras are older than my children Blush so I shall be buying new bras and pants to match which I will never, ever, ever wear at the same time

Fast day almost done. Weigh-in tomorrow Confused

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 06/02/2013 19:40

The mind boggles at taking prune juice on holiday. Wow.

That's a dedication to pooing that I just don't get.

DoubleMum · 06/02/2013 20:00

LOL, I'm guessing pooing was pretty important to her. I don't know, she was a 70 yr old woman, we never discussed poo!
DD has issues, and I need to be careful with her diet, so it's a subject close to my heart. I'm sure it must help with losing weight too.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 06/02/2013 20:56

Ahhh. My DGM takes bran-fibre on holiday with her, in a zip-lock plastic bag she rinses out and dries on her tap. She is 98. She sprinkles it on her breakfast - even grapefruit.

Perhaps at a certain age pooing on holiday is very important Grin

DoubleMum · 06/02/2013 21:46

TBH I think I'll be very pleased to still be going on holiday at 98, no matter how much bran-fibre I have to take with me.

nilbyname · 06/02/2013 21:54

I went to a funeral once and myself and a group of friends sat there and talked about our "movements" for ages, was tres funny.

WiseKneeHair · 07/02/2013 09:46

YooHoo I've BEEN!

Thanks for all the support and advice, I got a tin of prunes from the back of the cupboard (exp 2010) and that plus lots of water, fybogel and dulcolax did the trick.Grin Trouble is, I want to STOP going now!

nilby the positions you described pretty much sum up 30 day shred! Maybe that's why I fart like a trouper when I do it and am very relieved to be in a room by myself Well done on your loss.

Need to stop talking about my bowel movements now or people will think I'm the poo troll.

Good Chiefing everyone.

RandallPinkFloyd · 07/02/2013 11:12

Another 3lb gone. In your face Jillian!

Sadly my fat self is secretly seeing it as a handy 3lb leeway for my weekend away. It gives me exactly 3.4lb before cutting into that all important first stone Grin

bleedingheart · 07/02/2013 11:19

That's fantastic Randall! You must be really pleased!

No loss for me this week but no gain either!

DoubleMum · 07/02/2013 11:29

Well done on the 3lb loss Randall, and well done on the poo loss Wise!
(See prunes are magic!)
That's a bit frustrating Bleedingheart, but full steam ahead for next week.

RandallPinkFloyd · 07/02/2013 11:43

I'm chuffed to mint balls, it's really cheered me up. (I've been in a right grump this week)

Although I'm still a wide load. How chubby to you need to be to lose 17lb without anyone noticing?!

Don't worry about staying the same bleeding, there could be all sorts of reasons, especially as I'm guessing you don't have much to lose. Keep at it, you'll get there.

BsshBossh · 07/02/2013 12:08

Well done Randall for the loss and to bleeding for the maintaining - it's all good :)

WiseKneeHair · 07/02/2013 12:21

I've never been congratulated for pooing before Grin
Well done on the loss Randall, how about only eating/ drinking half the calories back this weekend? You can still relax, but not undo all the great work of this week.
Bleeding I know a maintain is frustrating, but it's a damn sight better then a gain, so well done. How has your loss been over the month as that more important?

RandallPinkFloyd · 07/02/2013 12:30

Its not the food I'm worried about so much, its the booze. There will be much booze Grin

I'm doing my best to save up as many calories as possible so I don't go too far over for the week as a whole iyswim.

Oh, and very glad you had your shit!
