Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

We'll done on the loss dinky

Lazy day here but have been good food wise bar one mini pack of buttons. Afternoons are my downfall.
Been at the dr with dd as her skin is so rough. Have cream for eczema so hoping it helps.
Gym tomorrow, I don't go as much as I should as dh works odd hours so have to fit it around him. Must try for at least twice a week from now on.
Roast lamb for dinner...can't wait I am hungry!

This thread is making me hungry!

Report
BsshBossh · 26/02/2013 17:24

Today is a big fat fail day in terms of eating. Not binging but definitely eating way beyond hunger. Don't know quite why. Will adjust my calories tomorrow (still not logging but will drastically reduce portions at least; might even skip breakfast entirely as I only eat it out of habit on non-fast days).

Report
kalidanger · 26/02/2013 17:29

Why aren't you logging, Bssh?

I'm 10 days in and finding logging invaluable

Report
DoubleMum · 26/02/2013 17:35

Am having a slightly naughty day too. It was a mistake to buy Chocablok ice lollies. That's all.

Report
BsshBossh · 26/02/2013 17:39

kali I've been logging (more or less) for a year. Now I'm so close to goal I want to see if I can intuitively eat the "right amount" of food for my weight/height/activity levels. As I don't really want to be logging forever. Today I have intuited Grin that I have overeaten and I don't think I need MFP to confirm it for me Grin.

Double enough said :)

Bssh Aha. Makes sense. Glad you had a good day Smile

I've got 411 left for dinner. Pfft.

Evening. Just had lush omelette after ripped level 4. Had a rather good day.
Why can't there be more of them????
Both my boys birthdays are in March, which means cake and meals out.

Double I really, REALLY do NOT want to know about chokablok ice lollies.
Was it nice???

Report
DoubleMum · 26/02/2013 20:37

Lizzy it was nice but not NICE. Wouldn't buy them again TBH. Not worth the calories.
Not long had DS's birthday (laser quest) and soon to have DD's birthday (party at Lush). V expensive! DS wanted Domino's pizza but actually it was manageable to just have a couple of slices. If DD wants the same I'm going to fill up on salad first. I said no to cake. Does that make me a very mean mummy? I froze the rest to go in their packed lunches, think it's all gone now.

Report
DoubleMum · 26/02/2013 20:41

Also this might be a crime against humanity but I prefer my frozen banana mixed with peanut butter to that chokablock lolly.
Kali I think there is a section on Good Food with dinners under 400 cals
www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/recipes/healthy/low-calorie-dinner/

Double, we share the same breeding season.
Wish I liked banana!
And no, you are not a mean mummy. Ours aren't having parties this year, because we have spent more on their presents than usual. I am now craving chocolate so am off to bed.

Very jealous of everyone's lovely meals out, especially the Thai banquet Envy

I really need to get exercising, you all put me to shame with your "ripped" and circuit training tales.

Another 2lb down so still dropping but need to start toning up now as so far the majority of the weight seems to have come off my not particularly fat legs, my stomach is hardly any different. Need to address the bloat!

Morning all, sorry I've been a bit AWOL recently, been a bit busy clearing out the spare bedroom ready for DD, so DS can have her old room in a couple of months. Very unfairly I can't see a description of 'breaking down old furniture and taking it to the tip' as an exercise on MFP. Ho hum.

Just caught up with the thread, you are all doing so well on your losses, yummy meals and being ripped.

To those who are 'new' (ish) to the thread, I'm Herecomesbod2013 on MFP, please feel free to add me. I'm also doing WW though so haven't made my food diary available as it would probably look really boring to everyone else. I have the same breakfast pretty much every day, for example, but I find this helps me as I feel more in control.

Very jealous of your time in London Bssh. I loves a bit of Larndern I does (especially jealous of the Lichtenstein retrospective, sounds top).

I'm within spitting distance of losing a stone but so far I haven't felt hungry or deprived in any way, so that hopefully means I'm doing it right and forming long term habits. I am now officially out of all my maternity wear so there's no going back now. I can't anyway - it's all at the charity shop, eeek!

Double Thanks for recipe link. In the end I had a banana and a biscuit Boost Hmm But I did walk to the corner shop really very briskly indeed... Grin

Having a minuscule lunch so I can drink booze with my DB this evening Smile

Hope everyone is doing well today?

I never made it to the gym, had dd up until nearly 4am. Just about got ds up in time to get the school bus but am shattered. I did get out to the shop so that was a brisk walk. Also cleared the rubbish out of ds room and had a big tidy so hoping that counts for some exercise.

Having a strict couple of days as I did a sneaky weigh in and wasn't impressed. Will be doing my weigh in Friday as I have a party to go to that night and intend to have a few drinks Smile

Randall another 2lbs .... fantastico. Good work chief. Time to get out those dancing shoes then Grin

4am Shock

Doing a 5pm to 5pm fast today yesterday and today. Out for tea with husband down dat der London tonight. Have managed to burn over 1500 calories playing the hockey and training this morning during this fast period so I'm more than a little obsessed with the thought of food and am already feeling the power of the fast - the clarity of thought combined with not feeling fully in control of my limbs. I'm concerned I may get stuck inside the tube network. Bssh if you come across an aimlessly wandering, verging on middle-aged northerner, wearing age inappropriate attire at any point, do point her in the direction of a pie or something!

No weigh-in for me tomorrow because no scales. Not sure whether to skip a week or move to Saturday.

Report
RandallPinkFloyd · 27/02/2013 15:15

I may indeed draw the blinds later and have a flail around to just dance! Enjoy your time in that London

Sylvia give up the mid week weigh ins. I did one this weekend because I felt a bit crap and apparently I'd put on 2lb. I didn't change anything because I'm only on 1200 cals a day anyway so can't drop it any further. Today it shows I've lost 2lb.

Bodies are weird.

Tea will look out for you then Grin. Incidentally, the best piein London (in my not so humble opinion) is upstairs at the Newman Arms down an alley off Rathbone Street (need to book as it's so popular).

Well done on the terrific loss Randall.

Back from lunch meeting, and it was all a bit complicated, they ordered starters to share and I didn't really fancy them, ignored the bread and ordered lemon sole which was actually ONLY that, then had mint tea (nobody had pud). So no need to worry about today's calorie intake.
Well done on the loss Randall, you're flying now, almost at 2 stone!
