Sorry to be a bit late this morning - no doubt you're all chomping at the bit to declare all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Sorry - stupid question alert! The three nutrients you mention are.........??? Doh. And, yes, I'll try and limit my hot drink intake. Thanks.

ToomuchWaternotWine · 15/01/2013 14:08

And while I'm here:

B scrambled eggs made with butter and double cream. Yum. My go-to breakfast now. Never thought I would wake up and crave water and eggs, but I do!
L tuna mayo in little gem lettuce wraps with pancetta scattered on top.
D will be chicken stir fry, using water chestnuts and bean sprouts in place of noodles for me.

Right, am off to briskly walk the dog through the snow before pick up time or maybe just browse MN with a decaf coffee for half an hour it's bloody freezing out there

Many thanks Toomuch will go and have a good read this evening. Thanks

Hi BIWI

Can I join this party late?

I started yesterday as last week was a weird week with lots of stuff going on.

I need someone to add me to the spreadsheet as I'm on my ipad.

I started at 11st 9lb Blush

I've also downloaded a carb counter app which is good. I'm struggling to drink the water though as it's sooooo cold

BigStickBIWI · 15/01/2013 14:36

lapetitedame (a good name for these threads!)

Good idea, actually. I know some of the links are on the spreadsheet, but not all of them. I suppose what I should really do is go back through the threads and 'harvest' them all!

Start with the ones that are on the spreadsheet, and I'll see what I can do.

Welcome, catinboots. And try drinking the water hot, if that's easier.

... and you're on the spreadsheet now

Help me everyone - I'm a low carb lurker (I'm doing Bootcamp but am not on the SOF).

Doing well, have lost 4 lbs and enjoying the food (apart from missing fruit badly).

BUT tonight am going to the cinema for a three hour feature. And I always have a big bag of Minstrels when I go to the cinema.

I feel like I'm DOOMED to eat chocolate tonight and just can't imagine sitting there for three hours without my hand rhythmically dipping into a bag of chocs.

Aaargh! I need some self-discipline. Tell me how much better I'll feel tomorrow if I resist....

prettybird · 15/01/2013 14:54

You will feel better!

Why not, if you have time, make some celeriac chips so that you have something to occupy your hands?

halfthesize · 15/01/2013 14:57

yakshe try taking bottled water, with either pork scratching, celery, cheese chunks or a mixtureWink

littlermissstan · 15/01/2013 14:57

I took Hogbites to the cinema at the weekend... And a bottle of fizzy water, as it fills me up and feels a little bit more like a treat [tragic emoticon] Or how about a little pot of nice olives?

prettybird · 15/01/2013 14:58

catinboots - why not get some rooibos (red bush tea) if you are wanting a hot drink. It's actually quite nice without milk. Alternatively there are some quite nice herbal teas: I like the ones with ginger in them for a nice warming effect.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/01/2013 14:58

Afternoon all Smile

All is well here, just about to find lunch things, have realised it has got a bit late

Yakshemash · 15/01/2013 15:14

Thanks everyone - it's like having a little magic support team! Grin

Pork scratchings are a GREAT idea. I'm going straight from work, so won't be able to source meat/cheese/veg etc easily but I'm sure the bar at the cinema has porky things. I'm fine drinking fizzy water, but it's just the nibbles...

You're right. I'm focussing on how mega I'm going to feel tomorrow morning when I wake up still in ketosis and still all lovely and slender less fat than I was last week

PrincessSparkle86 · 15/01/2013 15:19

Helloo helloooo i have a bit of a cheerier post for u this time....

Whilst shopping for my grandads bday prezzie i got sidetracked by some jeans in saisburys! I got a size smaller than i normally would and bought them home to try on AND they fit! There a teensy bit close but i dont care Grin so after last nights feeling sorry for myself im happier nowSmile i guess even tho my weights very slowllllyyyy going my frame is shrinking! Since i low carbed before my other jeggings were really loose and my jeans fitted when they hadnt before....size 12 next!

Ilovemyteddy · 15/01/2013 15:20

Yakshe I sat through Les Mis on Saturday whilst DH munched his way through a bag of Rolos Envy. We'd just had a lovely meal, too. As others have said, take your own low-carb munchies.

PrincessSparkle86 · 15/01/2013 15:21

And i went to the harvester for lunch... I had the simply chicken a d replaced potatoe with green beans... It was lovely!

Yakshemash · 15/01/2013 15:22

Ilovemyteddy A bag of Rolos? That's like mental cruelty.

littlermissstan · 15/01/2013 15:55

Ilove mine had a whole bag of Mini Eggs. I could smell them all the way through I Dreamed a Dream... Still, stuck with my scratchings!

Oh Starfish - what a fright you must both have had! Are you OK?

OP posts:
prettybird · 15/01/2013 16:19

I am desperate to get a new pair of jeans as my current pair are wearing through at the crotch and I really shouldn't be seen in public in them

However, although they are a 14, I tried on some size 14s in M&S before Christmas (when I was about the weight I am now) and no way could I get into them Blush my current pair had obviuosly stretched Blush. So I need to leave it until I've lost a bit more.

On the plus side, I noticed this morning that my cheekbones are becoming more prominent again :)

EwanHoozami · 15/01/2013 16:22

Starfish what a horrible fright. You must feel really shaken. Have you had a hot drink? My DS fell smack on his face at a playgroup yesterday while I was yakking to the other parents minding the baby and he has quite the shiner.

No shredding for you!

Have a hot bath, if you can, and take some paracetamol - try for an early night too. You need to take it easy.
