Sassy I'm the same. Have teeny legs. Just Tum

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 11/01/2013 18:12

My excess weight goes straight onto the middle of my body - stomach, but from under the boobs rather than above the waist and I get a fat back.

My, I sound attractive, DH is a lucky man!

GetOrf · 11/01/2013 18:12

I have a really small upper body, and bigger legs. I hate my legs.

I have just eaten one of thoe Eat Natural bars (my lunch) - imagine its load of cals but they had run out of all food apart from crisps on the train so was lesser of two evils.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 11/01/2013 18:22

I'm not doing shred. h has just turned up to do the dc bedtime so its either do it with him here - no chance- or wait till he goes.

I cannot wait for a glass of wine that long and boy do I need wine when hes here so the shred is out of the window today.

Also, I feel really fat today. Fatter than normal. I forgot to weigh this morning so not sure if I have put on but I can't see how. Yesterday I was 2lb down from when I first weighed on Monday.

Today I have eaten loads but MPF says I'm under on calories.

I don't know. I'm all confused.

gobbymare · 11/01/2013 18:22

Exactly the same problem as you ajumpeduppantryboy back tits and round middle [cries].

On a plus note tho, least we are addressing it !

MaureenShit · 11/01/2013 18:23

I'm sure I have breast tissue where it shouldn't be. Under arms for eg.

Does anyone apart from freaky me have a little potential roll of fat under their bra ? I hate that. I wondered if that's actually breast tissue. Have to be v thin for it to go.

PinkyCheesy · 11/01/2013 18:25

Brilliant day until 4.30, had a long walk, steak and garlic bread for lunch, and a hot bath.

Then I picked up the kids.

DS2 whinging as soon as he was in the door. DS1 lost his footie socks. Both had excessively muddy boots. We are having new fridge freezer delivered tomorrow (I hope. It's from Currys) so I had to empty old one, defrost, unplumb, clear magnets off, etc.

Put kids tea on. All fine til I try to microwave veg. Microwave door no longer opens! It did yesterday. So I threw my toys out, served them pork chops and potatoes only (they were thrilled!!) and poured a double vodka and tonic. Please don't flame me Hmm

And it's DS1's birthday tomorrow. He is only having a friend round to tea so I hope the oven doesn't blow up before I cook the pizza...

Oh and DH is away, as he always is when there is any domestic problem. It's like the house saves up its issues (flooding, kitchen ceiling collapsing, skylight window falling in, birds in the house, etc) til it's just me here. I can cope, but it's a PITA when I have to juggle it with the kids and everything else.

Ok rant over. I am not going to raid the Pringles Grin Hope you're all having a better evening and fabulous food

DoubleMum · 11/01/2013 18:35

DCs have had pizza, their specially requested tea and boy do I want their leftovers! But I'm not having any which makes me feel good and awful at the same time LOL. Well done for not raiding the pringles Pinky. All these little victories will add up to new healthier habits eventually.

PinkyCheesy · 11/01/2013 18:39

It is interesting that my double VAT is only 200cals, the same as a very big banana... I know which I'd rather have...

hugoagogo · 11/01/2013 18:45

Argggh I am hungry, I don't like it.

I want wine and tangfastics and it's only me stopping me not a good idea.

What would it really matter?

CarriedAwayAnnie · 11/01/2013 18:46

That does really depend if you're considering the banana for breakfast ..

WiseKneeHair · 11/01/2013 19:06

Keep strong everyone.
I think Friday evenings are difficult because the DC are tired and fractious, we are tired and fractious, it's the weekend and we feel like we deserve a treat.

We can have a treat, but don't make the one glass of wine turn into a whole bottle or one biscuit into the whole packet.

End of pep talk. I'm relying on you lot keeping me going when I'm flagging. Grin

TheCrackFox · 11/01/2013 19:16

The boys are eating White chocolate Magnums and there are 2 left in the freezer (thank you DH for your oh so supportive supermarket shop). I can now completely relate to Renton in Trainspotting when he goes cold turkey, infact this is harder.

My new mantra "choose your hard". I am well hard.

gobbymare · 11/01/2013 19:19

I am feeling really tired, possibly the lack of sugar maybe, as it has come o quitr sudden, day 5 and i could do with sleeping all weekend or at least feel like it, even tho i`ve not done alot today, anyone else feeling tired ?

DoubleMum · 11/01/2013 19:23

Phew Friday is bad! I have bagged up fairy cakes and put in the freezer, and packed up leftover pizza and put it in the fridge for DC's lunch tomorrow (their request). Temptation averted (for now).
Be Hard!

CarriedAwayAnnie · 11/01/2013 19:23

Shattered.

And for the first time this week, I could quite happily raid the cupboards Sad

This is a low point.

Off to the bath with a book .. wheres there is no food or temptation.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 11/01/2013 19:23

Doublemum you are an inspiration!

Well done!!!

DoubleMum · 11/01/2013 19:28

Not sure I've ever been an inspiration before, LOL! But I have been hovering so close to grabbing bad things all day, just one of those days I think.
I used to love reading a book in the bath. It isn't quite the same in the shower.

WiseKneeHair · 11/01/2013 19:51

[ grin] I now have visions of you DoubleMum with a soggy book trying to read in the shower.
I think it's difficult with kids as you can't just chuck all the crap. At least, if I tried that in this house, there would be a riot.

hugoagogo · 11/01/2013 20:11

Freezing baked goods is a great idea; I made muffins the other day, but I only ate one and now the ones the dc and dh didn't snaffle are in little bags in the freezer for packed lunches.

I love baking, it's hard to do it though and not eat any. Thankfully I hate coconut and almonds and them lot love the disgusting stuff, so I make raspberry almond buns or Bounty cake. and cry in the corner with a pear!

Anyway I feel better now I have had a bath and a nice cup of tea.

I too am hard.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 11/01/2013 20:11

Portion control is definately my downfall.
Tonight I wanted 30g of cheese - DH estimated, them we weighed it and it was 90g.
Using MFP certainly makes me more aware of the vast quantities I eat.

Mnd you, I should have known, we have been known to buy an M&S dine in for two and buy extra side dishes - and I wonder why I am overweight...

GetOrf · 11/01/2013 20:12

Well I am under the calories for today on MFP but I am eating crap. Busy so go all day with no food and eat everything within an hour or two. Apricot and almond yoghurt bar, packet of crisps, biscuits, chips and curry sauce from the takeaway (999 cals). Not exactly picture of health.

OH WELL.

TheCrackFox · 11/01/2013 20:29

I am now watching Fat Families to keep me on the straight and narrow.
The wanker presenter has just made the fatties throw their entire weekly food intake in the bath (lord knows why) and my mouth literally started watering when they had to throw a chicken jalfrazee in.

Anyway, I am 40 in June and I do not want my arse to look like two massive cauliflowers like it currently does.

DoubleMum · 11/01/2013 20:29

Raspberry almond buns sound lush! I used to run my own catering business so baking feels a bit like work still but I'm getting back to liking it slowly. I still have lots of ingredients to use up as well, but as long as I don't eat them (often) it doesn't matter.
And yes portion control is really hard for me too.
Getorf at least you're still under on calories. Tomorrow is another day.

DoubleMum · 11/01/2013 20:30

TheCrackFox what a vision I now have in my head!! LOL
