Wise Grin actually made me Lol!!

I think I will get all of them and at least if I get bored with Shred I will have something else to do.

Is the Pillates difficult to master? I have never done anything like that before.

Lulabellarama · 15/01/2013 13:27

About 10lbs LizzyLou. I am a 'healthy' weight now, but bigger than I should be. I know from experience that I'm at my best at 10st.

Lizzylou · 15/01/2013 13:33

Only 10 minutes of the Blast off Belly fat is pilates, quite basic, no worries Carried.

DoubleMum · 15/01/2013 13:35

Thankyou guys, so Shred is definitely out barring some kind of miracle. I', off to have a look at the 10 min one. Thanks

DoubleMum · 15/01/2013 13:35

I'm, even.

DoubleMum · 15/01/2013 13:37

It's a bit distracting looking at exercise videos in the middle of baking 24 double chocolate cupcakes. Luckily I'm not much of a fan, although I do like the icing (see my diary later Blush). Fingers crossed DH's new job doesn't involve cakes too often eh?

spamm · 15/01/2013 13:40

Ok - I am going to admit it here, but nowhere else.

I lost 1.5 pounds last week, and I am now 3 pounds UP from where I started! I know it is my fault - I had a crap weekend, in terms of food, but I have exercised my butt off - I have been to the gym 3 days in a row and I worked hard.

I have no intention of giving up - but its not fair.

BupcakesAndCunting · 15/01/2013 13:55

KEEP AT IT. Honestly, I was pissed OFF yesterday and I've had to gather all of my shit together to not jack it in and go down the Spar and buy my body weight in Creme Eggs, actually they probably don't keep that many Creme Eggs in stock, but you catch my drift...

I've just watched the Shred part 1 on Youtube and I want to punch Jillian in the face, I can't be doing with that.

I will keep it up! Giving up just means getting fatter and fatter and I cannot do that.

Maybe I will do the shred tonight. I have the DVD, I just have to take it out of its wrapping. And I have another PT appointment tomorrow, so I have exercise planned!

But the biggest things is the food - I have to get more serious about getting that right and not slipping up so much. This morning, I carefully measured out my yogurt - 1 cup is more than I would put in the bowl, but it certainly works keeping me full.

Thanks for the encouragement!

DoubleMum · 15/01/2013 14:05

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to look at Shred (anyone else tempted to call it Shrek all the time?!). No, I can't do it. I'm going to concentrate on losing some weight first and worry about exercise a bit later I think.

MaureenShit · 15/01/2013 14:11

I'm on day ten. No loss. (Apart from dodgy pound )
Grr. But in keeping going

MaureenShit · 15/01/2013 14:13

Re belly fat. No diet can target a certain area. You know that. Like the hip and thigh diet from the 80s.

I really commend breakfast eggs to you. Two. Non stick pan. Salt. Fast and filling.

noddyholder · 15/01/2013 14:26

I am losing so can only think what i am eating is working. Not eating at all in the evening I am 9'4 want to be 9 0or 60kg want to be 58ish. Haven't totally ditched carbs which i normally do.

noddyholder · 15/01/2013 14:27

Maureen low carb/sugar does reduce belly quicker than any other.

MaureenShit · 15/01/2013 14:33

Christ noddy. You are tiny atm

noddyholder · 15/01/2013 14:35

no I am short!

CarriedAwayAnnie · 15/01/2013 14:40

So you don't need to use oil for the eggs Maureen?

DottyDot · 15/01/2013 14:43

with a good non-stick pan we don't use any oil for frying eggs - other than possibly a quick spray (we use ordinary oil but in a sprayer so use much, much less). John Lewis marvellous non-stick pan can cook anything without oil!

namechanger11111 · 15/01/2013 15:34

Well done Wise the hand holding worked well.

I've had lovely day so far thanks for all the birthday wishes. Had a very nice pizzabread and millionaires shortcake for lunch. I'll log it all later when i go on the pc.

Listening to all your shredding is making me want to do it. I bought it ages ago and did it once and thought i was going to die! I'm so overweight and unfit in worried it'll do me damage. I also suffer with dodgy hips and knees but the pain comes and goes and they're ok at the moment.

nilbyname · 15/01/2013 15:44

The ten minute belly work outs sound good. Will they make me sweaty? I could do one tonight before I go to the cinema.

noddy how tall are you? I have a similar weight loss goal as you.

sassytheFIRST · 15/01/2013 15:52

Happy birthday, name changer!

I'm another lb down today so that's 4 altogether in about 10 days. Happy with that, I am .

Another 2 and I can order the acne pistol knock-offs currently sitting in my online shopping basket!

Food today not too bad tho I have just eaten a LOT of salted cashew nuts. This is instead of lunch. Not sure that's how to do it properly but still leaves me 774 till bedtime. Homemade chilli and rice for tea.

noddyholder · 15/01/2013 15:53

5'5

Notfootball · 15/01/2013 15:58

Happy birthday namechanger and glad to see you back noddy.

I seem to be low on calcium daily, no more than about 20% of RDA. What are you all doing to keep your levels up?

WiseKneeHair · 15/01/2013 16:13

spamm keep at it, you can do it
noddy Grin at 5'5" being short.
Notfootball I am having a similar problem. I have ordered mini babybel light with my shop tonight as each one is 40 calories, but gives me 20% of my needed daily calcium. I will aim to eat 2-3 per day. I used to eat them regularly when I did SW. They are lovely and very handy to take to work.

I'm going to sneak out of work early now as I have ordered a magimix food processor which has arrived and is sitting waiting for me at home. I am very excitedly thinking up lots of healthy food I can make with it. yes, I know I have a very sad life

hugoagogo · 15/01/2013 16:36

5.5 is tall! You would tower over me.

I am keeping to it, I feel like I am in the zone

I have lost another half inch round the middle, but I have so far to go.
