I'd love to lose a stone...

Classic case: been dieting for 10 years on and off, have a hubby who is probably a little underweight, have a 8mth old who needs stuff to be mashed, and I'd love to lose a stone. Saw a picture of me at a wedding yesterday, after I'd lost my pregnancy weight (only put on 6lb), and I nearly cried, looked massive.

I'm 25, a size 12-14, 5 7, and 11 st 8lb so a little chubby. I work 3 days a week and work in retail gardening so run around a bit and do lots of lifting.

I'd like to know if there's anyone who's managed to lose that last bit and if there's any tips?

Thank you

Had a lovely steak last night with just a green salad but have realised I did not add the oil I cooked it in so added it to today and has set me back 62 cals! Going to invest in that spray oil today

Doing my first fasting day of the 5:2 programme and already craving bacon sandwiches. Randomly quite enjoying my hot water with lemon rather than tea though.

Daisy -spray oil is great although you need quite a few sprays to cook well.

Just watching hairy dieters, apparently there's calories in black pepper, 5 per tsp! But salt doesn't
Had another good day, stuck to the calories, dinner was in edible (thanks morrisons) so had ww meal instead,

How's everyone getting on?

Good work Daisy!

I'm 55 calories over my limit today. Taking the Christmas tree down and it seemed a shame to throw away the leftover chocolate decorations. Currently ganging head in shame.

To be fair, MABs, I prob weigh substantially more than you to start with! Are you still off the booze? I am - and feel crap again. Hoping to feel better tomorrow. Going to the rugby tonight so will drink coffee rather than beer (warming, if nothing else)

Well done sassy! And Bazinga, you had choc decorations actually left on your tree?! That is an achievement! Smile

I'm generally under my calorie limit but it's all bad stuff!! Had 3 biscuits already today, I need an app that highlights all the fat I'm eating really... Ah well!

Hi all! Ds just off for a nap so have time to check in :-). I'm doing well so far. On or under 1200 cals but feeling full, eating healthily with one treat per day. I'm good at the beginning but i find eating out/meeting friends for coffee difficult... Using mfp is a and has highlighted deficiencies in my diet so an eating better and taking multivitamins..

Wommer- I think I will be doing a weekly weigh in as daily results can be misleading

Coo- the mfp app does show how much fat etc is in the food you eat. At the top it says SUMMARY, DAILY, WEEKLY- press DAILY to get nutrition info

Getting on really well, don't get time to eat breakfast which is prob bad but I can enjoy a nice lunch. Am absolutely addicted to WW products, have stocked up on goodies. Been cooking the same family meals but instead of having veg/pots etc on the side, I've been having a plain green salad so have found that very easy

WELL DONE EVERYONE - KEEP IT GOING!!!

Just ignore him and make yourself a nice tea and treat yourself to a pampering session :-)

Ah daisy that sucks. Treat yourself in other ways instead - have a nice bath and listen to angry music Grin

Good idea with the weekly weigh in instead of daily.

Here's my top tip. I'm supposed to be out watching rugby but am at home with dd1 who is ill. While watchung Brave, I have poured myself a wine glass (the vessel is important) of sparkling flavoured water. Feels like wine, tastes ok, stops me feeling deprived.
