LV I'd second the idea of the personal shopper. I've used Debenhams twice now and love it. Think I even started a thread about it at the time as I was so pleased with what I got. They will pick things that you maybe wouldn't choose/have found yourself. I have one particular top that I wouldn't have given a second look and I've worn it several times for "special" nights out and love.

SPBInDisguise · 16/01/2013 21:08

hi everyone

InMySpareTime · 16/01/2013 21:22

Hello, what's up?

SPBInDisguise · 16/01/2013 21:58

I am cooooold, how about you lot?

MilkshakeMaker · 16/01/2013 23:15

Freezing...I'm hoping it just stays cold and doesnt snow like the telly is saying. I havn't worked a saturday for 9 weeks and the one I'm scheduled in for is snow. huff.

InMySpareTime · 17/01/2013 08:19

I'll have your snow. It hardly snows here, even when it snows everywhere else it just drizzles hereHmm.

northender · 17/01/2013 10:16

IMST we rarely get snow either (a bit further North than you I think). On last night's weather it said the warning for 6 inches of snow was for N Wales and NW England, this morning it said SW and central England and looks like we may miss it. The kids are gutted.

Hi everyone. Hope you are all ok. Sorry I've been absent for a bit but I was feeling quite low and didn't want to bring the thread down.

Anyway the sun has been out a bit over the last couple of days and I'm feeling much better. :)

Eating has been awful though. I've not binged but I know I've eaten stuff I shouldn't. Mainly biscuits. I seem to have replaced chocolate with biscuits. Blush

I'm not going to weigh until Monday but I fear much damage has been done. It was definitely comfort eating. Must get back on it.

SPBInDisguise · 17/01/2013 12:14

Sorry to hear that hair, hope you can get back into it

InMySpareTime · 17/01/2013 12:30

Yay! My corsets finally arrived in today's post, and I look Amazing in themGrin
My shoulders are cold, but my boobs are up where they belong for a change!

TheOneWithTheHair · 17/01/2013 12:58

Oooo. IMST just in time for your night out. Fab!

Thanks SPB.

SPB you got the breakfast biscuit review. I'm Envy.

SPBInDisguise · 17/01/2013 15:11

Really? How do you know? I've not had an email

LollipopViolet · 17/01/2013 15:18

Hi all!

Back from skating - I swear, if those scales haven't moved on Monday with all the swimming and skating I will not be impressed!

Ache a bit now though haha

TheOneWithTheHair · 17/01/2013 16:12

Oh sorry SPB. Saw your name with a load of posters saying 'yay'. Been for another look and can see it's a :(. Didn't mean to get your hopes up. I'm gutted that not one of us have got it.

Lollipop I'm not surprised you ache. Well done you.

KatoPotato · 17/01/2013 16:37

LV I've fallen out with my scales atm. I've been super virtuous, out running, body pumping and CV'ing like a nut.

I've gained 3 pounds!!

InMySpareTime · 17/01/2013 17:19

8020 they are proper steel boned, laced corsets (they need to be to keep the norkage in checkGrin). The one I'm wearing out tonight is reversible, cherries or polka dot design (cherries tonightSmile). In deference to the weather I have a jumper over it until we get there.
I've not weighed so far this week, been too busy writing. I'll try to fit some scales time in tomorrow.

reastie · 17/01/2013 18:11

eighty I'm a bit Confused at the idea of a hole cut for you to wee

IMST yay to the corset, I bet you look fab and your DH will be just as excited as you Wink < wink wink nudge>

Hair hope you're OK

Haven't really felt on the wagon properly since Christmas time still and although not losing all self control, also having probably more treats than I should and don't feel deserving of losing anything. I guess this is just a bit where I'm more lax but will soon get stricter and, to be fair, you can't be strict the whole time for the rest of your life.

Kato it's muscle I bet

What's all this of a breakfast biscuit review talk?

TheOneWithTheHair · 17/01/2013 19:14

I meant the product test that was on offer. I didn't get it. :( I also didn't mean to cause such a stir on the thread.

Have a good time tonight IMST.

reastie me too about not really being back on it since Christmas. I did have a good week but I've not been good since. I think that's why I've avoided the scales. It's not good really. I should just face it and know what I'm dealing with.

reastie · 17/01/2013 21:13

Well I feel better knowing it's not just me that hasn't felt fully into the weight loss thing since Christmas. Hopefully we'll be completely in the zone soon Hmm

Quite a bit of snow predicted tomorrow late morning/lunch and I know I sound like an old lady but I'm really worried about getting home from work when I finish at lunch time. I live about a 20 minute drive on a dual carriageway from work, so it would be too far to walk unless absolutely desperate, and, knowing this area well, the town where I work hardly has any snow ever to speak of and the village I live in is a black hole microclimate for heaps of snow. I'm dreading the drive home and will breath a massive sigh of relief when I get home safely. I've got wellies ready to put in the car just incase I get stuck and have to walk home Blush

northender · 17/01/2013 21:20

Well I've been in the zone this week but that's only after having been out of it for about a month! Have had a bit of a wobble tonight as dd made some very nice biscuits, have stopped at 2 though which is extremely good for me.
reastie hope you survive the snow.
Well done LV and kato. I feel tired just thinking about the exercise you've done.

InMySpareTime · 18/01/2013 08:03

this corset is one of them (I can't find the reversible one online. It's Corsets UK, but they did take 8 days to deliver them instead of the 2-3 days I'd chosen as the delivery option.
