No weight loss over the weekend in spite of offending MIL by refusing cake yesterday. But 5lbs altogether so am pretty chuffed. And I am constipated, maybe there will be more weight loss once that passes (ahem). Thanks to BIWI and everyone else for the great support. Having the loo decorated today (and only have one) so think my water consumption may go down!

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 09:25

5lbs is brilliant, dotty! Very well done.

Morning all!

Some fantastic weight losses here - well done peeps.

I have lost 2lbs - have I finally started moving again after my 5 week plateau?! Also lost inches which is good. 9 various exercise sessions last week plus walk / runs with the dogs. I feel so much healthier which is is great - love this WOE. Huge thanks to BIWI and everyone else who posts such motivational information / recipes.

Right off to Ab Attack - new week - more great classes!

HavingAnOffDAy · 08/10/2012 09:35

Just added a GAIN to the s/s.

Had a terrible week last week - was working away everyday & then had a weekend away with DH. I think maybe the 10k walk we did on Saturday helped to limit the gain Blush. I didn't really overeat, just ate the wrong things.

Oh well, onwards & downwards. I'll count this as my week 1 of bootcamp.

Well done to all the losers!

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 09:38

Fab, Colly! Sometimes all we need is a harsh, swift kick up the arse Grin

I'm very hopeful that soon I will reach my very first target of 9 stone 5 and a half, and then I will have lost 2 stones.

Never mind, HavingAnOffDay - back on the wagon today. Next week you'll be a loser.

Morning [grin

Added my weight to the spreadsheet... I think ive figured it out at aroun 3 lb down.. I had hope for more, must drink more!

B- leftover broccoli cheese :/
Lunch and dinner undecided but will fill you in later! Ill also catch up a bit more later! X

dotty2 · 08/10/2012 09:42

havinganoffday - what goes up can always come down. The 5lb I have lost is the weight I had put on due to silly eating over the last few weeks so am back where I started. Good luck for this week.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 09:43

Princess - 3lbs is brilliant! Especially as you've been doing this for a while - any more than 1-2lbs a week is fabulous.

6.5 pounds off, well pleased! I gained 6 pounds the previous week as I'd been away for the weekend and hoped that I'd lose most of that in a week. I have lapsed quite a bit so am hoping to be stricter this week. Goal for this week is 2.5 pounds off. I tend to lose quite impressively in the first 2 weeks and then lose my momentum when the weight loss slows down. Not this time! Thanks BIWI for this perfectly-timed bootcamp Smile

frumpet · 08/10/2012 09:47

3llbs off , really quite pleased , especially given the cheating (alcohol) that occured at the weekend !

Can i just ask , if like me you have a lot of weight to lose , is it ok to continue on bootcamp for longer or should you go to bootcamp light ?

Liveinthepresent · 08/10/2012 09:52

Well I am surprised and pleased to report am down 5lbs today.

I stood on the scales 3 times before accepting this weight - as have definitely not been perfect and Spent yesterday convinced my jeans were tighter than last week.
I do think this loss is probably exaggerated by having over eaten the week before but nonetheless it's definitely a loss and has motivated me to give week 2 of Bootcamp my all.
Thanks to BIWI and well done to all the losers!

MsRinky · 08/10/2012 09:53

Only 1.5lbs off for me, but knew I had not been as hardcore as intended.

Have planned all meals for this week and will shop tonight. Thursday will be a challenge - friend's is hosting her birthday dinner. She is veggie and a carb fiend, so will be dishing up bread followed by either pasta or risotto, pudding and gallons of wine. She is also incredibly sensitive about food issues, so I will just have a nice filling lunch and then eat as little as possible without drawing attention to it. And I have made my meals for the rest of the week very clean and light and will be avoiding my beloved cheese.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 09:56

frumpet - it's entirely up to you. If you are happy on Bootcamp, and it's easy for you, then you can carry on with it - just, please, make sure that the majority of your carbs are coming from veg/salad.

You could do a sort of hybrid, if it fits with your lifestyle better, i.e. Bootcamp during the week and Bootcamp Light at the weekend.

Liveinthepresent - brilliant Grin

Thank you BIWI Smile

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 09:57

MsRinky - I know it's difficult in social situations like this, but if your friend is sensitive to her food issues, do you not think she might be open to sensitivity to yours? Can you have a quiet word with her in advance and ask for, at least, a salad for you or something? Doesn't have to be a massive, bloody steak, which I could see might offend her!

Jins · 08/10/2012 10:00

Stayed the same. No problem. Diet is good but health not so great at the moment and I haven't got a lot to lose anyway.

BigBroomstickBIWI · 08/10/2012 10:07

Sorry to hear that, Jins

MsRinky · 08/10/2012 10:16

I can see where you're coming from BIWI, and if it was anyone else I would do what you're suggesting, but I know from past experience that this particular friend will not respond well and it will then spoil her night and everyone else's by extension. And despite her being a bit of a nightmare on the food issues front, she's a lovely woman who has had a rough time recently and I want her to have a fun evening.

I'm in this for the long haul, and for me, having one meal off piste out of the 21 meals I'll be having this week and accepting that it will have consequences is okay. And afterThursday I have a clear run until November 30th in terms of social stuff.

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 08/10/2012 10:21

havent weighted yet - but when I next crawl upstairs I will do. I have been very good apart from the weekend, flat on back and had to eat what was provided for me! DH was very good but bought cake and so did my best friend, of course I ate it as I was doped on pain meds and would have eaten anything provided.

Ive had a banana for breakfast this morning - which isnt on bootcamp, but I cant stand long enough to cook eggs and cant really bend to raid the fridge for cheese/meat. Sad

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 08/10/2012 10:21

weighed...ffs, may have to remove laptop from myself...

Viperidae · 08/10/2012 10:25

Lost 6lb. Will stick to bootcamp until Fri night but have an event then that will not be low carb so will go "off-piste" for that then back on Sat am and just have to see how it affects weight loss.

I don't know what Bootcamp Light entails when people are asking about it. Can someone explain please?

bucksmum · 08/10/2012 10:33

Lost 11lbsGrin. So that's all good. Now off to stock up on rations for the week. Going to introduce some exercise this week for the first time in a decade!
