We've nearly grown out of the last thread here so i started the new one.

We're all doing different things but we're all here to support each other on the journey. We kick each other when we need it and offer sympathy when that's more appropriate.

Love the idea of a three day challenge youcan but this weekend is going to be difficult because I'm going away with a friend. I think I will do an intense 5 days next week, Mon-Fri!

I love your picture Goon. You look rather like a very good friend I had in Australia 13 years ago. I assume you are not her (particularly since she would have aged 13 years so wouldn't look like that now) but the resemblence is startling. My pic is the best one i have of me right now because dd2 is hiding most of me.

I'm up for an intense 3 days starting tomorrow. I think I need it because I am sitting here eating pizza Blush. I needed it though, I've been so incredibly busy all week with parents evening on Tuesday, then yesterday and today I've had after school revision for year 11 who have an exam on Monday. Tomorrow I'm back to normal, so will have proper healthy food all weekend Grin

Not had a good day. I'm in a lot of pain since slipping off a step coming out of primark earlier today. Landed with my ankle under me. Really hurt and despite there being plenty of people about, not one person checked i was ok or helped me up. I had to hobble off to some public loos to have a cry!
It is a bit swollen and really painful to walk on. Hurts more if i elevate it. Really hope it is just a sprain or bruised and not broken!

maths Ahh, no. Am terrified of flying so Australia is out of the realms of possibility for me. Feeling your pain re parents eve, we had an early one in oct, then the oral oral autumn term ones early dec.. The pic was taken in a photo booth thing at a friends wedding a couple of weeks ago, I almost actually wet my pants laughing!
dancing let's be hardcore together, I am a bit rubbish so will be determined!

tort I fell out my front door and folded over my left ankle incalf term and it still bloody hurts, poor you and how fucking rude that no-one helped you?????? Have you contacted primark, you should report t to them at least try and get some free clothes for all the pain we would have helped!

Did well in the pub, would normally have had a few drinks but only had 2. Ok they were pints of cider but still an improvement!

Looking forward to the three day challenge as I am slipping into bad habits. I know it's not a disaster to eat a handful of shreddies but it's the thin end of the wedge. So for my 3 day challenge I am going to focus on not eating kids leftover foods and not eat while I'm cooking as that kind of constant grazing is what got me here. I am also going to aim to have no cappucinno's as I am having 1 or 2 a day at the moment and it's such a waste of calories. And i'mgoing swimming at least once this weekend.

tortoise hopeyou're ok. I fell over in July and broke my foot so if it's still bruised and swollen in the morning you should go to hospital. (it wasn't that painful the next day but I still got it looked at.) anyway I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're better tomorrow. Brew

Good idea maybe to pick a couple things to concentrate on over weekend

I'm fortunate my dx bit older so I get then tj scrape their own plates

Ok day 1 of hardcore for me that means I'm going to do at least 60 mins a day of excerscising might not be in one go but spread throughout the day I have just over 3 weeks before holiday would love to loose 7lb but main aim is to get below that 14

Oh and I have a pair of jeans from next size 14 skinny ones so cheating bit as they are slightly stretchy but I can get them on and up and the button does up but it's in danger of pinging of and hitting someone , as fit the zip no . My weight seems be on my chest ( 38 HH) and my tummy which as I'm always sitting is noticeable but it's going and will go in determined

So now I will be good. I did 500cl fast day yesterday and am sticking to 1000 over the next 3 days. They will weigh and if those bastard scales show me anything over 178lbs I am going to terminate them....

Morning all.
Slept ok eventually! Still quite painful and can only just walk on it around the house. If i go out i will need to use crutches (luckily borrowed some!). Its aching most of the time. Think it is just bruised but will see how it is after weekend.
Boyf picked DDs up in his car this morning as he has his DS to take anyway. My brother was going to take them, saved him a walk!

Messed up already this morning. Grabbed a twix and a bag of crisps on the way through the kitchen. Need to try harder the rest of the day.

You can no just stubborn I like be in middle 13 by time go away so will push it and as much as hate doing it I feel better for it and it is noticeable that areas becoming toned as weight goes

hey all sorry to hear about painful ankles and gained pounds....I will be joining the later woe no doubt due to 3 free lunches in a row from work and buying a cheese sandwich on the train home.

I find it really really difficulty to not eat on long train journeys (9 hours worth yesterday so really 1 flapjack and a cheese sandwich wasn't that bad - especially since I nearly got McD's twice :) )

afternoon....

well I have tried to be good. So far I have had a fruli bar, (113cals), ww yoghurt, ww tom soup and 1 slice of bread. More than I would normally have but I am gettign the cravings again which means AF is due..

But I am so not giving in. I have friends round monday night and I want to enjoy it and have so wine so that means being very strict until then.

Tonight is a ww meal and a pear.

Oy youcan you can DO IT! I had a bagel for brek, then leftover pasta and salad with cottage cheeses for lunch, and two of dd2's monster munch after our flu jab Sad
Good luck all, saw a pound creep off today on the scales but am. It sure I am going to manage two more before Monday!
